Mother Nature is cruel, but humans are worse. In a world battered by colossal sandstorms, Shon has lived his entire life as a second-class citizen. There is one way out: By mastering his people's innate ability of heat manipulation, he can become a Stormrunner - humanity's last defender against Mother Nature, and the only force capable of destroying storms. But as a new wave of storms approaches - bigger, stronger, more unpredictable than anything before - Shon must rise to prove his worth... or watch his worst fears come true. What to Expect: - Man vs. Nature and Man vs. Society Themes - Magitech science fantasy, biology-based science / magic, hard science explanation - Multiple POV, morally gray characters, underdog MC - NOT a purely action-packed story, lots of other scenes, dialogues, internal thoughts, etc.

Willow has been confined throughout her entire existence-tormented by her own psyche and imprisoned within a contract that she cannot break. All Willow has ever known is survival. However, the arrival of an enigmatic stranger causes all of that to change, drawing Willow out of the realm that she has always been a part of and into a new dimension-one rife with lost magic and unexplained wonders, but also strangely familiar... Willows' search for answers raises a single question she cannot deny: Is Willow entering a new realm... or awakening an old one that lies dormant within her? I'm always honing my craft, and your thoughts and reactions truly mean a lot to me 💛 Current artwork is placeholder. I'd love to collaborate with an artist to bring this world to life. If you're interested, I'd genuinely love to connect 🥰

She at first thinks it a way to learn even more before she tries taking them down, but her confusing feelings get in the way. Humanity was never meant to rule the stars. Five generations after colonizing Mars and Europa, Earth's expansion gave birth to the Collective - a unified government spanning six powerful core worlds. Order was maintained. Prosperity was promised. Unity was enforced. Beyond the polished core systems lay the Fringe - distant colonies built on sacrifice, grit, and independence. For decades, they were tolerated. Until they became inconvenient. When a decorated mail runner intercepts classified war directives, she discovers the truth: the Collective is preparing to erase the Fringe entirely. Not suppress it. Not negotiate. Erase it. With only days before coordinated planetary strikes begin, they must shatter the Collective's war machine from within. Outnumbered, hunted, and divided by distrust, they wage a precision rebellion across supply lines, command relays, and the fragile psychology of empire. But the Collective does not forgive betrayal. And empires do not fall quietly. As fleets mobilize and systems burn, one truth becomes clear: The stars have always belonged to those willing to ignite them.

After the first wave of the virus Erebis, half of humanity is gone. The survivors don't rebuild the world - they divide it. From the ruins rise four cities, each a cage shaped by class: one where the poor endure hunger and humiliation, one where the middle class survives on restraint and fading hope, one where the rich drown in luxury built on denial, and one where the elites crown themselves untouchable, believing power makes them immortal. Through the voice of Pema, a mother watching the world fracture, Endling explores a future where survival comes without dignity, walls replace compassion, and inequality is written into law. Children starve while others play with machines. Humanity lives on - but broken, arrogant, and divided. This is not a story about saving the world. It's about what remains when fear reshapes humanity, and the plague changes form. Dark, emotional, and brutally realistic - Endling asks one question: What does survival mean when humanity itself is dying?

John (not his real name) says feminism is harmful, pointless, and "no regular male" wants anything to do with it. That "no regular male" thing got right up my nose. So I posted a point by point response. John got angry (as I knew he would) and exposed the ugly arrogance beneath his 'rational man' front.

(This story has nothing to do with race, the main character just happens to be dark-skinned) 500 years ago, a man and a woman thought it would be beneficial to everyone if those with many talents and those with few talents would be separated to make each group stronger, more balanced, and live in greater peace. They agreed that only the Elite, the ones with many strengths, should hold positions in government and they should watch over the Lessers, the ones with fewer strengths. For about 125 years, it was successful. The system began to grow corrupt, and now the Lessers now live in a large hole half a mile below sea level in the middle of the Elites' city under a large glass dome. They are now exploited in countless ways and their home is often referred to as a 'Zoo' by the Elite. Zoe Taylor Bolter was born Elite, but was torn from her father when she failed the test that determines her fate and she was thrown into the Zoo. Walk alongside Zoe in her journey getting accustomed to this new culture.
