lost to the haze of youthful passion and drunken silly off the sweet addictiveness of love and romance, a young couple chatted in one's bedroom and teased each other lightly between peppered kisses and whispered 'i love you's'. teasing soon turned into a heated make out session which paved way into dangerous territory.
"sungie, i wanna go all the way."
"are you sure?"
"come on, it'll be great. i promise."

minho sighed as he stepped out of his car and walked to his office. his mind was consumed by a certain blue-haired-chubby-cheeked cutie and daughter, wondering who the two were. he was so preoccupied by these thoughts he failed to notice the short male he was about to walk into.
"ouch. oh my bad, sorry about that- changbin?"
minho noted his colleague's less-than-cheerful state as the two entered the elevator that just arrived together.
"hey minho, how's it going?" the younger yawned before taking a sip of his coffee.
"pretty good i guess but i should be asking you that. you look like you were run over by a truck, what happened?" minho eyed changbin who indeed looked a mess.
"remind me never to get felix pregnant again. ever." changbin groaned as he wiped under his eyes, as if to remove the dark bags that lay there.
the older laughed at his friend's plea.
"it can't be that bad-"
"we ran out of strawberries and he made me go buy them at four. in. the. morning." the younger male glared at minho as he ranted. "i had to drive aroung looking for a store open at that time just to get him strawberries. at four am! four in the fucking morning minho."
said man could only chuckle at his colleague's misery. what a great friend.
"don't stress so much. only four more months left, right?"
"three."
"see? then you'll have a little cutie to take care of instead of four am cravings."
changbin smiled slightly. "thanks minho, what's got you in such a good mood though? normally you answer 'how's it going' with 'terribly' and you actually laughed multiple times. did you get a new cat?" the two stepped out of the elevator and onto the seventeenth floor, headed towards their desks.
it was now minho's turn to smile. "i got a cute guy's number at walmart."
"oh, i see how it is." changbin eyed his friend curiously. the older had never really discussed such things with changbin before.
"but he has a daughter, and i assume since he didn't have any rings and accepted my offer for a date that he's single but i don't actually know for sure though. now that i think of it what if he was just trying to be polite because i helped him find his daughter." minho's smile fell as he rambled and a more worried expression settled on his face.
changbin's eye's widened. "wow, well i'm sure he's single if he accepted the date, but what's his name?"
"uhhh, i actually have no clue. why do you ask?"
"no reason." changbin quickly answered, sitting down at his desk and facing his monitor completely.
'i better text or call him soon,' minho thought before busying himself with work.

jisung has worked as an editor in a book publishing company ever since he finished university two years ago. he was more than lucky to land the job after applying and not even expecting to recieve and official rejection email. work could be pretty hectic when dealing with projects and due dates and authors and publishers, but jisung enjoyed it nonetheless. plus, he was able to put his english degree to use.
today though, jisung took the day off and, after dropping soomin off at school, decided to spend the day with his pregnant best friend. bad idea.
"noOoOOoo, there's enough space for the both of you jack! noOoOooOo . ."
felix cried into jisung's tear soaked hoodie shoulder as the blue haired comfortingly patted the ginger's head, face stoic having watched this movie for the third time in a row that day.
this time when the credits rolled jisung somehow convinced felix not to make them watch it again, much to jisung's relief, and the two began chatting about whatever came to mind.
"right! i never asked you sungie, what's mystery walmart guy's name?" felix wiggled his eyebrows teasingly as he spoke. jisung playfully shoved him, very lightly so as not to cause the pregnant man too much discomfort.
"i uhh, idon'tknowineverasked." jisung replied.
"WHAT?! how could you not ask, that is like THE thing to ask someone you just met!" felix exclaimed, throwing his hands around dramatically.
"i was panicking, alright? calm dow-" jisung was interrupted by his phone ringing, the caller id displayed as unknown. the two friends glanced at each other, then the phone and then back at each other before jisung snatched it up and answered.
"hello?"
"hey! this is the guy you met at walmart."
"oh! hi."
"my name's lee minho by the way, i much prefer being called minho to 'walmart guy.' "
jisung chuckles. "well minho i'm han jisung. nice to know your name."
"yeah, same. i was wondering if you'd like to meet up with me at jyp café on saturday."
"hmm, sounds good. what time?"
"how about ten am?"
"sure thing see you there."
"see you, bye."
"bye."
the line cut and felix eagerly waited for his friend to fill him in. after a quick recap they decided that soomin would stay over at changbin and felix's place for the day and the friends would go shopping for an outfit immediately. this decision was made with a lot of fussing from jisung and reassurances of 'i'm fine' and 'i can do it' from felix. jisung was nervous about felix going out in his current state and he knew if anything happened to his best friend he would face the wrath of felix's husband, which jisung never wished to encounter.
at the mall the pair managed to buy jisung a new casual outfit safely and went to pick soomin from school on their way back. the eight year old was overjoyed to see her uncle lix for the first time in a while and the two spent time together as jisung prepared a quick dinner for the three and changbin, who returned from work soon after dinner was finished. soomin greeted the tired ravenette with a running bear hug and told him of her newest plushie that resembled the male's own plushie named gyu. the four ate in peace and, after cleaning up, jisung and soomin headed back to their awaiting home.
after their nightly rountines of washing up, changing, exchanging 'goodnights' and heading to bed jisung found himself staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep. why? he wasn't sure himself but sleep did not seem to be an option that night as he tossed and turned. the blue haired was just about ready to get out his laptop and start working so he could at least try to be productive during his unrest when his bedroom door creaked open and a sniffling soomin stepped in.
"papa?"
"yes baby?" jisung asked groggily, concern lacing his voice.
"please can i sleep with you tonight, i had a really bad dream." soomin rubbed her eyes.
"of course, c'mere. do you want to talk about it?" jisung patted the empty space in his bed beside him and allowed soomin to crawl into it, tucking her under the covers.
"no."
"that's alright. let's just sleep now, okay?" soomin nodded and jisung cuddled his daughter as their breathing slowly evened out and the two found rest in each other's embrace.
