Riele was stressing.
Jhacari was seemingly mad at her, that was why.
Gosh. Why on Earth did she have to tell Gianna about everything? Though at the same time, they were best friends... so they kinda had to tell each other everything.
Didn't they?
She was thinking helplessly about Jhacari in front of the kitchen table, but not in that way. She had just deeply regretted what she had done.
"Riele, I thought I told you to clean up the kitchen before Jhacari comes!" Her mother had hissed at her rudely.
They were from an African household, and they always liked to keep their house tidy at all times, visitor or not.
But they especially had to keep it tidy for Jhacari. He was a famous superstar. One wrong impression and Riele was done for.
Not that Jhacari was going to broadcast this or anything to anyone, of course not. He didn't even want anyone to know he was here to begin with as he didn't want people yelling at him:
Why didn't you choose my house to stay at?
Or something along those lines.
Riele hadn't listened to her mother's words. She was still worried about Jhacari. Was he even coming here anymore?
Goodness knew.
"I thought I told you to help me sweep up!"
"Sorry. I'm just stressed. I think Jhacari's mad at me."
When Riele's mother had heard that, she was confused as ever.
Jhacari hadn't even arrived yet and he was already mad at her?
What was going on?
She didn't have time to argue with her though, as she had left the scene.
Riele had brought out her phone to text Gianna about the whole thing.

She couldn't really have decided on just one emoji for Gianna so she had used five instead.
As normal, unless stated otherwise, Gianna had replied back straight away to her but she wasn't very happy with her at all.

Then Riele had explained everything to her.
About her telling Gianna that Jhacari was coming to her house even though Jhacari had asked her specifically not to tell anyone.
It wasn't that deep really but it was very deep to Jhacari as he didn't want people throwing any shade at him or anything.

She was right.
She was overthinking this.
Especially more so when she had heard a knock on her door.
Jhacari!
Riele was panicking but she was excited at the same time. And it really was him, she had checked through the window to see if he was there.
And he was.
He had just arrived with his taxi and the taxi driver was kindly taking his suitcase out of the boot for him. Riele's mum had offered to help him, but when Riele wanted to help her...
She had told him not to.
As she wanted her to make up with Jhacari instead.
Jhacari had just arrived inside of the house but he didn't say anything to Riele.
He was mad at her yeah.
Hence why he stayed silent.
"Jhacari?"
He stared at her blankly.
He was very pissed and Riele could sense it.
He had then folded his arms at her slowly, still not saying anything to her though.
"Are you mad at me?"
He didn't say anything.
Although Riele did catch him smiling a little.
"I was. But I'm not anymore."
That made her feel tons better.
But she didn't really mean to hurt Jhacari's feelings. Of course she didn't. It was just that Gianna was her best friend so obviously she was going to tell her everything.
Jhacari had understood that, but then he had realised something else.
"Hold up. Gianna. You mean Kobe Bryant's daughter?"
She nodded.
"No way are you best friends with one of Kobe Bryant's daughters."
Oh, but she was, you see.
Jhacari had believed that Riele was her best friend when she had showed him a picture of her and Gianna together wearing matching multicoloured T Shirts saying best friends on it.
With their names underneath as well.
"I'm sorry that I upset you."
"Imma let that slide for now because I'm a huge fan of Kobe Bryant, but if you don't listen to me again then I'll never speak to you."
She understood that.
With her mother carrying Jhacari's two suitcases inside, leaving them two together as she had helped the taxi driver take them upstairs.
Riele and Jhacari were friends now but this didn't really last for a long time.
When Riele had asked Jhacari what he wanted to do, he had told her that he really wanted to sleep right now because he was so tired.
But Riele hadn't accepted that because she really wanted to spend some time with him.
"You want to sleep already? But you lowkey just got here! I wanted to give you a tour of the house or something."
"Save it for later. Look, I've had a really stressful day today. And I'm not even supposed to be in LA right now in the first place. I'm meant to be in Mexico instead."
Normally Riele would have understood that so Jhacari didn't know why she didn't do that today.
She must have forgotten that Jhacari was a superstar or something because she was ranting at him like crazy right now.
"Jhacari, you can't do that! I had these entire activities planned out and everything for today. I've always wanted to meet you but now that you're actually here, I can't even talk to you."
He just had a terrible day!
She needed to show some compassion. That was for sure.
"What is wrong with you?!" Jhacari had hissed at her, annoyed. "I just told you that I just got off the wrong plane! And I didn't even have enough money for the taxi but because I'm famous he let it slide. You can spend some more time with me later, it's not like I'm going anywhere. I'm staying here for like three weeks. But I might change it to five minutes now if you piss me off any more!"
And she did.
Sh was shouting at him, with Jhacari shouting at her back.
"You think because you're so famous you can do whatever the hell you want but you can't!"
"I never said that, I just asked to sleep. Why you throwing shade for?" Jhacari snapped. "You know what? I'm done!"
Then he had slammed the door and stormed out of the room.
Riele was angry for no reason too.
Then she had told Gianna the news on her phone.
