"you just had to pick a dorm that doesn't have an elevator?" yuta asked while putting a box on his bed.
"it wasn't my fault! at least we're have a suite!" you said to him while putting clothes on your hangers and putting them in your closet. "you could've just asked someone to help you bring the boxes up."
"you know that i don't like people besides my best friends," yuta sat down at his desk. "next year, we're getting an apartment," he said to you.
"i rather be on campus than have to drive back and forth just to get to class," you said while looking back at him.
yuta rolled his eyes before turning away and turning his laptop on. you heard him open a box and put things on his desk.
"i have class," he said to you.
"okay, i'll try to be quiet," you responded and continued putting your clothes away.
you heard yuta enter a zoom meeting for one of his classes and spoke every once in awhile. once you were done hanging clothes up, you moved a three-tiered cart and put it next to your desk. then, you scooted the mini fridge and put it in between your cart and yuta's desk. you plugged the fridge in and put the coffee maker and microwave on top of the mini fridge.
while you cleaned, yuta took notes for his classes and looked at you at some point, "you want to grab something to eat once we're done?" he asked.
you looked at him, "sure." you said and opened a bag of chips that you had brought. you started snacking and continued setting up your side of the room.
you grabbed a box and entered the bathroom. you started hanging up the shower curtain and putting everything out. you wiped down the counter and hung a towel on one fo the towel racks.
then, you left the bathroom and unpacked your comforter set. you placed the comforter on your bed and put your pillows where you wanted them to be.
you glanced over and saw yuta sitting with his head resting on his hand, staring at his laptop screen in boredom. "having fun?" you sarcastically asked him and he glared at you.
"i hate this."
you laughed as he turned his head back to the screen and started putting up light strips on the top of the wall. you continued unpacking and carefully organizing your belongings on your side of the room.
after what seemed like forever for him, yuta was fine with his class. he closed his laptop and threw his hands in the air, "freedom!" he cheered which made you laugh. "come on y/n. let's go eat something. i'm hella hungry."
"sounds like a plan to me," you said to him and grabbed your purse from your desk. yuta nodded and grabbed his lanyard with the room key and id card before you two left your new home and walked around campus.
