Anela POV
I smiled as I put on my yoga pants and t-shirt.
My boyfriend would be here soon to pick me up.
Ok, before I go any further I should stop and introduce myself.
My name is Anela and I have just recently started dating Derek Carr,quarterback for
the Oakland Raiders.
We have only been dating about a week so we are still learning so much about each other.
Today I'm going to go watch him practice.
I have something I would like to do. I hope Derek doesn't mind.
Ten minutes later, there was a knock at my door.
I go to answer and find my gorgeous boyfriend standing at the door.
"Hey baby girl." He said, giving me that sexy smile of his.
"Hey" I said, with a smile.
"You look so hot." He said, winking at me."Ya ready to go?"
"Yes" I said, closing my door and putting my hand in his.
A few minutes later, we arrived at the stadium where he and the team would be practicing.
"Well, looks like we're here." He said, winking at me.
"Yeah, Ummm, babe there is something I want to do." I said.
"Oh yeah? Lay it on me,sweetie."
"Do you think you and the other guys could teach me how to play football?"
Derek's,eyes brightened. "You wanna play football?"
"Yeah" I said, with a smile. "Unless you don't have time."
"Of course there's time, baby girl." He said. "Coach is not even here yet."
"Ok" I said, with a smile.
So,for the next forty five minutes, Derek and his teammates taught me how to throw, catch, and even how,to juke a little bit.
I could not help but giggle at Derek telling the guys they better go easy on me or he would
whoop some ass.
Finally, when we were all finished, he said."Baby, I have to say for your first time you played
pretty damn good."
"Well sweetie I have a confession to make." I said, with a small smile.
"Ok"
"I already know how to play football."
"You do?" He asked, shocked.
"Yeah" I said. "I even played as quarterback on my high school team. I had an older brother who would eat, breathe, and sleep football." I said, and then my smile faded."But he died
when he was seventeen."
"Aw baby girl, I'm sorry. Derek said, putting his arm around me.
"I thought it would make him happy to know that I practiced with a pro team." I said, tearfully.
Derek pulled me into,a,hug."Baby girl, I'm sure he is looking down on you right now and smiling."
"Thanks, sweetie." I said, wiping my eyes.
The next thing I knew, Derek was pulling me into a kiss.
"Awwwwwwww" his other teammates teased.
"Very funny, boys." Derek said,,with a smirk.
Then he took my hands in his."I learned something new about you today,baby. "
He then smiled. "And I can't wait to learn a lot more."
"Same here." I said,,with a smile.
He then pulled me into another kiss.
I definitely lucked up, ladies.
I'm dating a gentleman.
