Inside Atlas Academy, in the foyer, Team RWBY are seen to be knocked out with bolas tied to their wrists. The Elm then carries Weiss and Ruby on her shoulders and Vine holding Blake and Yang with his Semblance.
Harriet: (to the communicator) We got Team RWBY secured.
Ironwood: (through the communicator) "And Team JNPR?"
Harriet: Gone missing.
Ironwood: "Oscar Pine?"
Harriet: Also missing. There's a high chance that he's with Team JNPR, though.
Ironwood: "Okay. Good work, Ace Ops. Put Team RWBY in their cells, along with Qrow and Robyn. And find Team JNPR and Oscar Pine afterwards."
Harriet: Yes, sir. Over and out.
Marrow: This is all wrong...
Elm: What's wrong?
Marrow: What do you mean?! We were told to arrest them, yet you all fought you're all trying to kill them!
Harriet: It was either them or us, Marrow.
Marrow: You were being excessive!
Harriet: It's not excessive if it's necessary. Now come on. Let's put them behind bars.

At the very bottom of Atlas Academy, Robyn Hill and Qrow Branwen are seen locked behind bars, sitting on the prison bench. The Ace Ops have arrived with Team RWBY on their shoulders, as Qrow quickly got up all worried.
Qrow: Oh no...
Harriet opens the cell for Elm and Vine to throw Team RWBY in, making Qrow angry.
Qrow: You bastards! Take it easy, they're just kids!
Harriet: Good thing they aren't mine.
After slamming the cell door closed, all of the Ace Ops walk away.
Qrow: You heartless pricks! Your leader was murdered and all you care about is literally throwing us in jail?!
Harriet: Spare us the friendship philosophies. As if you know anything about that.
She stated before closing the prison door behind her, leaving Team RWBY, Qrow and Robyn locked in prison.
Qrow: DAMN IT, JAMES!
Robyn: Hey, calm down, Qrow. We need to think of a way to get out of here. Once we start planning the better.
Qrow: Oh shut up! You know that this is all your fault, right? Convincing Ironwood to tell everyone about Salem.
Robyn: So what, we just let the people walk around without knowing reality?
Qrow: You're the one to talk about reality, Ms. Hill. Ever since you knew about Salem, you got all panicky and in denial. And that was just a few hours ago! And now you're telling me that hiding reality is a bad thing?!
Robyn: I may have acted that way after knowing Salem, but I sucked it up! I'm not some hypocrite claiming that she wants to know the truth without preparing to face the consequences.
Qrow: Well you should look in the mirror and ask yourself that, once in a while.

Qrow: Time and place, Robyn! TIME AND PLACE! You know, at first I was questioning (Y/N)'s logic. Then I remembered, the people in Mantle are civilians. Civilians in which we protect!
Robyn: It's hard to protect them without them knowing the truth! The people panicking in Mantle after knowing the truth are just cowards!
Qrow: THAT'S EXACTLY THAT POINT! We chose to be Huntsmen so that we could protect these people from this harsh reality we all live in. And the reason why they are "cowering", Robyn, is because they can't fight like we can.
Robyn: That sounded dumb and unoriginal.
Qrow: Be it as it may, it is true.
Robyn: (standing up from the bench) LIKE YOU KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THESE PEOPLE!
Qrow: And you do?! You, me, these girls, we were trained for this. We were prepared to expect the unexpected. We practiced to keep our mouths shut from hurling. We are Huntsmen! Qrow: We were lucky enough to save a couple of Mantle civilians. Civilians that haven't lost their minds. Thanks to you and Ironwood, literally 90% of the people below us are dying! Not from the Grimm, BUT FROM THEMSELVES!
Robyn quietly sat back on the bench while Qrow takes the seat furthest away from Robyn, in the corner of the cell.

Somewhere above the clouds, a Manta airship is flying along. Inside the airship is (Y/N), who is passed out on the bench, and Winter, who is controlling the airship.
Winter: *sighs* What did you do, (Y/N), Weiss?
While Winter is busy flying the airship, (Y/N) is still passed out.

(Y/N) is seen to be sleeping down in a big empty void. (Y/N) opens his eyes only to see complete nothingness and finds himself unable to move from too much fatigue.
(Y/N): W... Where am I?
"And so, the Raptor returns to my grasp."
(Y/N): H-Huh?
"It has been a while, dearie. You and your friends have gotten yourselves in a wee bit o' trouble."
(Y/N) starts glancing around to find where the voice came from. After shifting back to the front he sees a woman...
... sitting on top of him.
(Y/N): W-What the?!
???: *giggles* Ohh.... You poor thing♥ So tired, so stressed, can't even move.
(Y/N): W-Who... are you...?
The woman leans closer, placing her chest on top of his and her hands on his cheeks.
(Y/N): [Everything hurts.... when I try to move...]
???: Shhhhhshhh.... Relax, dearie. Move too much and you'll tire yourself. You have earned a good rest.
The woman embraces him tightly.
???: Relax yourself, dearie. Let me help you relax.
She leans into his ear to gently blow on it before taking a nibble. She then starts kissing his ear, making her way down to his neck, while (Y/N) struggles to move.
???: (whispering in his ear) There's nothing to be afraid. I'll treat every last inch of your body just right, (Y/N)♥
(Y/N): How.... How do you know my name?
The woman simply giggles in response before she continues kissing him, now making her way down his chest while (Y/N) is still trying his best to move.
???: (pulls herself away) *giggles* You're a stubborn fella, ain't ye, dearie?
(Y/N): I... can't...
???: Hmm?
(Y/N): I... can't stop now.... My friends.... need me...
The woman leans back close to (Y/N)'s face.
???: Dearie, you're tired. You can barely move. Just calm yourself, you deserve a good relaxing rest♥
(Y/N): (trying his hardest to not close his eyes) I.... I can't...
???: .... Is that so?
The woman pulls away while (Y/N) starts breathing heavily. After a brief moment, the woman smiles. She gently grab (Y/N)'s hand and starts licking his index finger until it is completely covered with her saliva, making (Y/N) moan with pleasure.
(Y/N): [What.... what is she doing...?]
After sucking his finger, finishing it with a pop, she stares at him with a seductive smile, licking her lips, while she leans closer.
???: I think this will keep me satisfied.... *giggles* For now♥
(Y/N): Who.... are you?
???: Time to wake up, dearie♥
She taps (Y/N)'s lips.

Back inside the airship, (Y/N) abruptly opens his eyes. He then tries to sit up but quickly falls back from the pain.
Winter: Oh, good. You're awake.
(Y/N): What the? Winter?! What's going on?
Winter: Taking you to a safe place.
(Y/N): What?
(Y/N) slowly stands up from the bench as he approaches Winter.
(Y/N): What's going on?
Winter: That's my line. What did you do?!
(Y/N): What do you mean?
Winter displays the mugshots of him and the rest.
(Y/N): Right...
Winter: What happened?
(Y/N): Hey, you're the specialist, you tell me. I was just doing my job.
Winter: You had a conflict with the Ace Ops. What happened?
(Y/N): Hey, you can blame Robyn and Ironwood for that. If they hadn't told the people about Mantle, all of them would've been safe by now. And last I heard, he's abandoning Mantle.
Winter: I'm sure the General is doing what's good for everyone in Remnant.
(Y/N): Oh god, not you too.
Winter: I'm just following the General's orders, (Y/N)!
(Y/N): Well his orders suck! Where are the others?
Winter: ...
(Y/N): Winter!
Winter: *sighs* Last I heard, they were thrown in jail.
(Y/N): What?!
Winter: Whatever you people did, made the General decide to take all of you in jail.
(Y/N): ... And you're not throwing me in prison?
Winter: .... I know a place where we can lie low for a while. Once I get you there, I'm coming back for Weiss.
(Y/N): What about the others?
Winter: ...
(Y/N): I see... Turn around.
Winter: What?!
(Y/N): We're going back to Atlas.
Winter: No!
(Y/N): Then I'll go to Atlas.
Winter: You will stay right where you are! All of this wouldn't have happened if you just followed General Ironwood's orders. As a Huntsman such as yourself--
(Y/N): I already quit.
Winter: You what?!
(Y/N): Turn the airship around, Winter!
Winter: Don't make this any harder as it is now, (Y/N)! You will stay put and that's final!
(Y/N): I wasn't asking.
(Y/N) then absorbs all of the electricity in the airship, making them fall and crash onto the snowy plains. Luckily enough, the airship is barely damaged. (Y/N) slides the door open and starts walking away as Winter emerges from the airship, dashing in front of (Y/N).
Winter: (Y/N), what are you doing?!
(Y/N): Saving my friends and Atlas!
Winter: Really? Even if you are on the wanted list, you are still going back there?
(Y/N): We've lost Mantle. My friends are in jail in Atlas. You think I'm just gonna lay down on the bench and let Atlas fall too, along with them?!
Winter: Think this through, (Y/N).
(Y/N): I just did. If you don't wanna go with me, that's fine. (walking past her) But I'm still going back to Atlas.
Winter: That's not the case.
Winter summons a Beowolf in front of (Y/N).
(Y/N): Really?
As he turns back to Winter, Winter has her weapon out, pointed at (Y/N), ready to fight.
(Y/N): Are we seriously doing this?
Winter: You gave me no other choice.
(Y/N): You've got plenty of choices to to choose from!
Winter: And this is the most rational I could choose.
(Y/N): Is it?
Winter: (Y/N) (L/N), I have put you under my custody! Resisting or denying my orders will result into punishment and a life sentence in prison!
(Y/N): ...
Winter: Final warning, Mr. (L/N). Defy me and you will face judgement.
(Y/N) takes a deep breath before he responds.
(Y/N): So be it.
The Beowolf behind him roars as (Y/N) quickly kicks it away. After the kick, (Y/N)'s leg starts hurting as he falls to one knee. Winter thrusts her sword forward as (Y/N) rolls over to dodge her. Winter then charges at (Y/N), making several quick, but futile thrusts at (Y/N) while he dodges it. After awhile, (Y/N) lost his balance. As Winter thrusts her sword, (Y/N) grabs her wrist to pull himself back and trips her down. Winter does a handspring to avoid being fallen and charges back to (Y/N), swinging her sword at him.
(Y/N)'s legs suddenly went numb as he falls down, while Winter points her sword at him.
Winter: You want to save Atlas even in that state?
(Y/N) smacks her sword to the side and kicks her away.
(Y/N): Don't make me do this, Winter! I don't want to hurt you.
Winter: ... So do I...
Winter does a high backward leap and uses her glyphs midair to give herself something to leap toward (Y/N) while using a second to shield her from (Y/N)'s palm strike as she tries to strike it down with the driving point of her sword but it only made her bounce off of him.
Winter summons another glyph midair to leap towards (Y/N) and Winter descends onto (Y/N). (Y/N) dodges the attack by simply shifting his body side ways. Winter lands in a crouch, then attempts to slice and stab (Y/N) who is simply dodging all of it.
After the final stab, (Y/N) dodges it by dashing onto Winter's side pushing her from the back. Winter maintains her balance by jumping off on one foot then bounces off of another glyph she summoned midair. (Y/N) dodges the attack by simply shifting his body side ways again.
Winter withdraws her smaller sword from within her main, as she swings the other sword at (Y/N). Slashing (Y/N)'s cheek as he staggers back. After seeing the blood fall on the ground, Winter's became worried for a moment as her eyes widen until she quickly turns back to her stern self.
(Y/N): (while his wound heals) So that's how it is.
Winter: None of this would have happened if you just followed his orders!
Winter charges at (Y/N). After swinging one of her swords down, (Y/N) quickly catches her wrist and disarms her, before kicking her back a few meters, now holding one of Winter's swords.
(Y/N): I'm not quitting, Winter. Not like this.
He stated as he takes a stance with the sword in hand.
Winter's eyes widen. An image of a younger (Y/N) comes to her mind.

In the image, the younger (Y/N) is taking a stance with a wooden sword between his hands, the same stance the present (Y/N) is doing.
"I'm not quitting! Not like this. I will become strong. Strong enough to protect both of you!"

Winter snaps out of it.
The two then charge forward to clash weapons. Both Winter and (Y/N) parry each of their foe's strikes with Winter matching up with (Y/N)'s speed. Winter dodges the two-handed swing. (Y/N) ducks down from Winter's horizontal slash before sweep kicking her down.
Suddenly, a Beowolf summon appears behind (Y/N) as he turns around to face it. The two wrestles to overpower each other, and (Y/N) kicks the Beowolf away. The Beowolf leaps out of the way as (Y/N) tries to stab his sword through it. As the Beowolf leaps, (Y/N) fires a lightning beam as it disintegrates.
Winter kicks (Y/N)'s joints, forcing him to drop to one knee. (Y/N) retorts with sweep kick, but Winter jumps up, only to get kicked on her sides, sending her a few meters back.
Winter summons another glyph behind her to leap towards him and (Y/N) blocks her attack. The pile of snow below them fly away from the force as they continue their attacks towards each other, blowing and brushing away the other pile of snow. The two then stops into one place and trading blows from there, brushing away the pile of snow that surrounded them.
After Winter dodges (Y/N)'s horizontal slash, the two pushes each other off with Winter smacking him with the back of her sword and (Y/N) kicking her away, hitting each other simultaneously.
Winter then stabs her sword on the ground, summoning a glyph that creates a flock of small white Nevermores, which begin flying towards him. (Y/N) swings his sword at the flock, causing a few to burst into small clouds of steam. (Y/N) then lets out a flare of electricity, killing all of the flock as they all burst into small clouds.
As the cloud clears up, two summons appear on both sides, charging at him. A Beowolf and a Manticore. (Y/N) catches them both, grabbing their necks and electrocutes both. (Y/N) then dashes to Winters side and knocks her away with a shockwave as her sword gets knocked to the far side of the area.
Before Winter could stand, (Y/N) points his sword at her.
Winter: (Y/N).
(Y/N): Stop this, Winter. I don't want this.
Winter: You can't save Atlas, (Y/N). Not like this! You're still a child!
(Y/N): I may be, Winter... But I've seen things... done things... even an adult shouldn't have.
Winter: ...
(Y/N): I've lost people... lost my family... I was lucky enough to be given another chance at this, Winter. And I'm not losing it... not this time. So, I'm going back to save Atlas... and my family.
Winter's eyes widen. (Y/N) drops the sword in front of Winter and starts walking towards the airship. Winter quickly stands up, grabs the sword he dropped and points it at him.
Winter: STOP!
(Y/N) stops walking with his back still turned to Winter.
Winter: Mantle is infested with Grimm and the people who have lost their minds. You are also wanted in Atlas. You can't even trust the people in Atlas, not even the General anymore! DO YOU NOT SEE THAT?!
(Y/N) remains silent. Winter is trying her best to speak clearly all the while trying to hide the tears.
Winter: Do you not see it, (Y/N)? ... You are just a boy... You go back there.... I won't be able to save you...
(Y/N) turns around with a smile and replies with:
(Y/N): ... Sorry, Snow.
Winter gasps in shock as the tears starts trailing down. She drops the sword as every part of her limbs gives away. She drops to her knees as she starts crying. All the while, (Y/N) goes back inside airship. After powering the airship back up, he then flies back to Atlas, leaving Winter as she watches him fly off.

Inside General Ironwood's office, Clover and Cinder's body are being carried away by the Atlesian knights. Ironwood is sitting on his desk and the other remaining Ace Ops are presenting in front.
Ironwood: I see you also don't have (Y/N) in a cell.
Harriet: No, sir.
Ironwood: Can't you track him?
Harriet then shows (Y/N)'s scroll to Ironwood, with his Huntsman license still displayed to it.
Harriet: He threw this at us before leaving. Said to tell you that he quit. Last encounter was in Mantle, when we were evacuating the citizens.
Ironwood: Okay. Knowing the situation, he's bound to come back here.
Marrow: What do you think he's gonna do?
Ironwood: All I know is that peace will never be his option.
Elm: You want us to stand on guard?
Ironwood: Yes. I want everyone, and I mean everyone, present.
Harriet: We won't be needing everyone's help, sir.
Harriet shows Ironwood her tranquilizer gun.
Harriet: We got this. Come on, team. Let's wait for him outside.
Marrow: (whispering to Vine) Who put her in charge?
The Ace Ops then leave the room. All the while, Ironwood rests his chin on his hands. Remembering the events years back.
Ironwood: ...

Outside the helipad.
(F/N): You son of a bitch! YOU'RE A GODDAMN MONSTER!
Ironwood: *pant* *groans* ... Am I?
(F/N) takes a moment to realize that his own son had to see all of that. He turns around, only to see his own son, quivering in fear while seeing the puddle of blood and a dismembered arm surrounding him.
(F/N): Son.
As (F/N) reaches his hand out to him, (Y/N) quickly backs away, making him fall to his back, on to the puddle of blood, after seeing (F/N) drenched in Ironwood's blood as he then starts crawling away from his own father in fear.
(F/N): (Y/N), this isn't...
(Y/N) then starts running back into the mansion in fear.
(F/N): SON, WAIT!
After his son disappears before him, (F/N) quickly turns back to Ironwood and points Angel Tears at him.
(F/N):
Ironwood: That's it.... Don't you see, (F/N)? This is who you are! You don't sit on your desk and drink coffee. You are a man of action! You were born for this! You are a force to be reckoned with! You don't fear death, death fears you! You are the perfect Huntsman! EVERYONE FEARS YOU!
(F/N): .... Everyone.... fears me...
(F/N)'s expression quickly turns from anger to depressed. After a brief contemplation, (F/N) starts walking away.
Ironwood: (F/N)! (F/N)! Don't you dare leave! *groans* You leave, you'll leave us to perish! Think of all the glory! Your achievements! YOU'LL BE LEAVING ALL OF THAT BEHIND!
(F/N) then stabs Angel Tears on the ground, leaving it and Ironwood as he follows the path where his son ran.

Summer appears seating on the co-pilot seat.

They both fall silent.

Suddenly the comms in the airship gets a frequency as it starts making static noises. (Y/N) then answers.
(Y/N): You can send every soldier you got, assholes! I'll beat up every last one of you!
Jeff: "Well that's one way to greet an injured friend."
(Y/N): Jeff?! Holy shit! How'd you get this frequency?

Somewhere in Mantle, Jeff, Maria, Pietro, Oscar and Team JNR are hauled up in an airship, hidden from the Grimm.
Jeff: This old guy, Pietro, got it. We noticed that their's an airship flying back to Atlas and.... Ugh... I don't know electronics, (Y/N).
Oscar: It's working!
Jaune: (Y/N), you're okay!
Nora: Thank goodness! We were looking everywhere for you.
Ren: Good to hear your voice again, (Y/N).
(Y/N): "Glad to hear you guys are okay. Who else do you have with you?"
Jeff: Well these guys, Pietro and... I forgot the old lady's name.
Maria: WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD?!
Jeff: Oh, get a grip, grandma! You're old! Even Father Time knows it!
(Y/N): "Glad to hear your voice too, Ms. Calavera."
Jaune: (Y/N)... The others... they're...
(Y/N): "I heard... I'm flying back to Atlas, right now, actually."
Nora: I don't know if you've also heard about this, but we're not actually welcome in Atlas, right now. Not even you.
Pietro: Especially you, (Y/N). I just heard that they are preparing an entire army just to keep you away from Ironwood.
(Y/N): "All the more reason to talk to Ironwood."

Jaune: So are we. They've got our friends hauled up in prison. We have to get them out of there somehow.

After a while, (Y/N) docks on a landing pad in front of Atlas Academy. After getting out of the airship, he meets Marrow, Elm and Vine with their weapons ready.

Until he is forced to freeze in place. Harriet dashes behind him, from afar, and points a tranquilizer gun at him.
Harriet: Nice knowing you, rookie.
Harriet fires a dart. Suddenly an ice wall rose from the ground, behind (Y/N), blocking the dart.

(Y/N): (unfreezes) Huh?
???: Hey!
They all turn their focus to where the voice was.
Krystal: You gotta watch your six, (Y/N).
(Y/N): Krystal?!
Suddenly, the floor below the three Ace Ops starts glowing. They all jump away as the ground explodes with pixels. Vine shifts his focus back on (Y/N) as he extends his arms to grab him. Suddenly, someone swoops down with pixelated wings on her back, slicing Vine's semblance with her pixelated sword.
???: Sorry, Ace Ops, but this is serious business.
(Y/N): Monika?
Monika: Nice to see you again, (Y/N). It's been a while.
Harriet smashes through the ice wall. Harriet dashes to (Y/N) to throw a punch, but gets blocked by someone else, blocking the punch with her scabbard. The girl then swats Harriet's hand away before thrusting her scabbard at Harriet's gut, causing her to slide back.
Lena: Please, don't make this anymore difficult.
Elm charges at Monika, with her hammer ready, while Monika casually stood still. Suddenly, Elm is taking hit by a barrage of fireballs. Elm uses her semblance, rooting her self in place while confidently taking the hits.
Elm: Is that all you've got?!
Krystal fires some light blue laser beams from her finger, aimed at Elm's feet, freezing it in place.
Elm: What?!
Krystal: Rooting yourself in place. That's your semblance?
With that said, a bigger fireball is charging towards Elm, exploding as it hits, also shattering the roots on her feet and knocking her back.
Krystal: What a dumb semblance.
???: Go easy on her, Krystal.
The smoke from the explosion comes together, forming into...
Erika: *giggles* Hello everyone. (Y/N)♥.
(Y/N): What are you doing here?
Monika: Our job was to keep watch over you. Remember?

Vine activates his Semblance while Harriet and Elm draw their weapons.
Marrow: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not actually going to slug this out, are we?
Harriet: We're not doing anything. They decide what happens next.
Krystal: At least we have the guts to decide.
Monika: This is your final warning, Ace Ops. Stand down!
Elm: You are ordering us? *chuckles* A bunch of random kids ordering us, the Atlas Ace Operatives?
Vine: This is your final warning.
Erika: Sorry, but that's not going to happen.
Harriet: "Sorry" ain't gonna cut it.
Erika: *giggles* Then shall we dance?
Harriet: You think you're going to stop us? Ha! We're the best Huntsmen in Atlas.
Krystal throws her lollipop stick in front of her, bouncing its way towards Harriet until it hits her shoe. Suddenly, Krystal quickly summons an ice pillar in front of Harriet, knocking her away as she crashes on one of the airships.
Krystal: Bitch.
Krystal: We fight gods for a living!

Meanwhile, inside the Academy, (Y/N) had just finished taking care of the soldiers guarding the first floor. When suddenly, Jeff calls him.
(Y/N): Jeff, what's up?
Jeff: "I'm on the back of the 2nd floor. Where are you?"
(Y/N): 1st floor. I was just about to head up.
Jeff: "Right. That guards hadn't noticed me yet. We taking this quietly?"
(Y/N): Fuck no. I want Ironwood to know that I'm here. Where are the others?
Jeff: "Finding Qrow and the others. Anyway, you want to go loud?"
(Y/N): Oh yeah... I want them to know that we're here.
Jeff: "Scare them. Got it. Finally, something I'm good at..."

In the 2nd floor. Guards are pointing their guns at the entrance door.
Suddenly, Jeff appears behind them with his hood up as one of the guards notice.
"Hey! Who's this guy?!"
"The hell are you doing here?!"
They all then point their guns at Jeff. Suddenly, (Y/N) kicks the door in sending the door to crash at the soldiers in the front lines as the other half point their guns at (Y/N).
"What the?!"
"You kids are dead!"
Jeff: Hmhmhmhmhm.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Jeff: Line 'em up! I'm gonna put you all to sleep!
(Y/N): Bring it on!
Half of the soldiers charge at Jeff while the other half charge at (Y/N).
On (Y/N)'s side, everyone in the back line stops as they start firing at (Y/N) while everyone in the front line are still charging in. After taking care of the three soldiers, (Y/N) leaps on top of another one then blasts every soldiers in the back line. After landing back, he knocks the remaining soldiers on his side. He disarms one soldier and knocks them out with their gun. One soldier got back up on his feet. The soldier attempts a hook punch, but gets shot by his hand, from the gun (Y/N) picked up, before (Y/N) knocks him out with a kick.
On Jeff's side, after knocking out four guards, he grabs one guard to shield himself from the line of fire.
Jeff: Be thankful you guys have auras.
He stated to his human shield before kicking away, crashing on to the other soldiers. Jeff starts tumbling around to dodge the bullets. Jeff then slices the soldier, damaging the soldier's aura. He starts tumbling back to thrust his knife towards the soldier firing at him from behind. One of the soldiers fires their grenade launcher. Jeff then throws his knife into the air and kicks it, sending it flying towards the grenade, exploding as it hits, knocking out the rest of the soldiers.
The soldiers in the 2nd floor were now taken care of as the two fighters proceed to the next floor.
After entering the 3rd floor, a soldier is about to throw a flashbang. Jeff quickly throws his knife at them before (Y/N) closes the door. The knife hits the flashbang, exploding, blinding everyone in the room. (Y/N) then kicks the door in, sending it to crash on the soldiers. (Y/N) and Jeff then charges in as Jeff calls his knife back in his hand.
Afterwards, they start fighting the soldiers, teaming up together, pulling off team attacks to fend off the soldiers.
Jeff: Lookout!
(Y/N) notice the soldier, charging from behind, as he punches the soldiers gut. Followed by a kick to the face by Jeff.
Another soldier charges behind Jeff. The soldier attempts a punch, but is quickly caught by (Y/N), as Jeff noticed.
(Y/N): Watch your six!
(Y/N) throws the soldier's fist away, before (Y/N) and Jeff punches him together.
Suddenly, the two decides to throw a punch at each other...
Knocking out the two guards behind them.
Another soldier appears, holding a rocket launcher. The soldier then fires a pair of rocket launcher at them, only to be sent back from (Y/N)'s shockwave. Exploding and knocking out the remaining soldiers.
Jeff: How many floors left?
(Y/N): Seven.
Jeff: We're on the 2nd. This means; there are nine floors. Jesus! For a school?!
(Y/N): That also serves as a military base. Yes.

Jaune, Oscar, Nora and Ren are resting inside the training room.
Ren: We weren't ready to become Huntsmen.
Nora: That's not true!
Ren: (Y/N) has a point, you know. We need to hide these things from the people so that they won't have to struggle even more. Look around us! We hardly saved anyone in Mantle, Ironwood has the staff and our FRIENDS ARE IN JAIL!
Jaune: Ren, that's enough.
Oscar: There's no point guilting yourselves. Right now, we need to focus on finding--
Bullets begin flying toward thee. Jaune, Nora, Ren and Oscar gather behind Jaune's shield, which projects a Hard-Light barrier.
"Hands up!"
"Resist and we will be forced open fire!"
Nora: You already did, you jackass!
"What the?!"
"How did you--"
They hear gunshots from outside, where they see Ruby's semblance flying along with the guard. Qrow then enters the training room while dragging a knocked out soldier.
Jaune: Wha?! How?! I thought you were in jail!
Qrow: Well they didn't really throw me inside a bird cage.
Ren: ... Right...
Team RWBY joins them.
Ruby: Are you guys okay?
Nora: That's our line!
Yang: Thanks for coming. You didn't really got us out, but at least you cared.
Blake: Where's (Y/N)?
Jaune: He's with Jeff. They're both going up to Ironwood's office.
Weiss: The Ace Ops are probably coming to them. Let's catch up with them.
Yang: Agreed. I can't wait to have a 2nd round with those Ace Ops.

Meanwhile, outside the landing pad, the Ace Ops are having trouble keeping up with the Rift Walkers.
Monika is striking her pixelated weapon fast at Marrow, not giving any chance for him to use his semblance.
Lena is casually deflecting Elm's heavy strikes. Elm then roots herself in place with her Semblance and transforms her hammer into a rocket launcher. Elm then fires a pair of rockets, her Semblance keeping her stable, as Lena deflects both rockets with her scabbard.
Vine is using Semblance to catch Erika. Each time he extends, Erika transforms into a cloud smoke and dash away, sometimes tripping Vine off balance.
Harriet is speeding around Krystal trying to land some hits, but keeps getting blocked from Krystal's Ice Gloves.
Krystal: You're fast, but that doesn't mean you're unpredictable.
Krystal sprays a sheet of ice on the ground, causing Harriet to slip and crash through one of the airships. Harriet angrily starts smashing through, to get out of the airship.
Harriet: Why are you protecting this kid?!
Krystal: Why do you care? I thought you were all work.
Harriet makes a mad dash toward Krystal and strike a punch, only for her fist to get caught in Krystal's hand as they have a staredown.
Harriet: Look at you idiots. You're just the same.
Harriet then starts speeding around while trying to land some hits, all the while, Krystal is simply blocking them.
Harriet: A bunch of wandering brats who claims to be heroes. You think your grandma's stories are really true? You think you're the Legendary Hero in the stories?! You're pathetic!
Krystal blocks her hit.
Harriet: Delusional!
She then blocks another.
Harriet: Weak!
And another.
Harriet: YOU ARE JUST LIKE EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD! A DUMBASS WITH NO FUTURE!
Krystal raises an Ice Wall to block Harriet's path. Harriet smashes through the wall, throws a punch at Krystal, while Krystal blocks it.
Harriet: What do you have to say to that, you naive little shit?
Krystal freezes her gloves, quickly spreading through her entire exoskeleton suit and shatters. Shocked by what happened, Harriet staggers back.
Krystal: Yeah, nice hair, bitch!
Harriet charges her Semblance and screams in anger, her eyes flashing yellow. She makes a mad dash, but is quickly frozen in place, leaving her head free from the ice.
Krystal: (unwrapping a lollipop) Like I'll be taking shit from someone who looks like a goddamn chicken.
Meanwhile, with Vine and Erika. After tripping Vine for the last time, she dashes to sit down on top of a nearby cargo, yawning.
Erika: *yawns* You know, I'm not really into Philosophy.
Erika then transforms into a big ball of fire and bump into Vine as she explodes, sending knocking Vine out as smoke forms Erika back.
Erika: (staring down at Vine) It literally makes everyone go crazy over the smallest things.
Meanwhile, with Monika and Vine. After Monika decides to stop striking, Marrow is trying to catch his breath.
Marrow: What the hell?! *pant* *pant* Are you on drugs? It's like you never get tired!
Monika: A girl has her secrets.
Marrow: STA--
Monika turns herself invisible.
Marrow: What?!
Monika: Over here.
Monika unshrouds herself from invisibility and knocks Marrow away with a pixelated blast from behind.
Meanwhile, with Lena and Elm. Lena hasn't thrown a single hit at Elm as she simply keeps deflecting and dodging her hits.
Lena: Please, stand down!
Elm: And as I kept saying; not gonna happen.
Lena: I don't want to hurt you! Please!
Lena tumbles away from Elm's hammer.
Elm: Listen; you seem like a nice kid. I'm sure you and I will get along pretty well if it wasn't for this... But a job's a job, kid. You are protecting a wanted criminal, which makes you an accessory to the crime. I have no choice.
Lena: ... I see...
Elm roots herself then raises her hammer. Before she could slam her hammer down at Lena, Lena suddenly thrusts her scabbard forward, hitting Elm's gut. Her semblance prevented her from being knocked away, causing the ground below her to crack, but the impact made her to regurgitate. As the root on her feet fades, she drops down incapacitated.
Lena: (looking away, sadly) ... I'm sorry...
With the rest of the Ace Ops members taken down, the Rift Walkers regroup with Krystal, next to a frozen Harriet Bree.
Krystal: That takes care of that.
Monika: (looking at her phone that is displaying a radar blip screen) Next up is Adam Taurus and this other guy.
Erika: We'll let (Y/N) handle the latter. All we need to focus on is Adam Taurus.
Harriet: I don't understand you kids.
Krystal: (sarcastic) Hey! You're still talking. Great...
Harriet: You're hunting down a criminal while letting another criminal loose. You're seriously going to let (Y/N) (L/N) kill the general?
Monika: Of course not.
Krystal: Not like we give a shit, though.
Harriet: Then why are you letting him go away?!
Erika: *giggles* Like we said, soldier. You don't want to know what's up there.

Back inside the Academy, (Y/N) and Jeff are now in the top floor and still fighting against the soldiers.
Jeff: Who would know that the top floor is a fucking maze?
(Y/N): There's a door over there!
Jeff: Yeah, I heard you like a thousand sound times!
(Y/N): This door I'm certain!

Inside Ironwood's office, James Ironwood is staring outside the window. A sound of a door opening is heard from behind him.
Ironwood: I knew you'd come.
Ironwood then turns around and sits on his chair, facing the towards the entrance.
Ironwood: I suppose this is the part where you want answers. Or rather end me.
No reply.
Ironwood: Of course... You know you are just like your father. Once he gets ticked off, he goes into action! A man of few words!
Still no reply.
Ironwood: I have you're friends locked inside a prison cell, as you may have heard by now. I'm giving you one last chance. Work for me and your friends will--
Someone starts calling through his communicator.
Ironwood: (to the communicator) What?
"H-He's here, sir!"
Ironwood: Soldier, he is already in my office."
"What?! Sir, he's in the Winter Maiden's room!"
Ironwood: What?!
Ironwood displays the camera feed inside the Winter Maiden's room,

Fria, The Winter Maiden, is simply staring at them.

Jeff: "(Y/N), come on!"

Azazel is breathing aggressively, as he stands before Ironwood with his rugged clothes.
