Til the Day I Die
Faith's POV
The Graveyard
Hope and I were at the graveyard as she was paying her respects to Bill then man she had killed to put it lightly "you didn't have to come" Hope said and I turned around to see Klaus.
"I wanted to make sure you were all right" Klaus tells Hope worried about her "I don't know why we leave flowers, doesn't do them any good, it's not much of an apology for killing someone" Hope said and it made me sigh.
I didn't want Hope to think it was her fault but I knew she would "unintentionally" Klaus and I murmured "you rid the city of those vermin, you have nothing to apologize for" Klaus told Hope trying to convince her other wise.
"Don't make it sound so noble, yeah, yeah, I killed a few bad guys, but it was as much to get the magic out of me as anything else, besides, it's not like it lasted more than a few hours, well, at least he gets his revenge next week when the full moon comes" Hope explained as I focused on the lines leading up to her neck making my worry increase.
"Hope, however much you dread your first transformation, once you go through it, you're gonna feel better" Klaus said and I nodded in agreement knowing the feeling.
"I don't know if I dread it or if I wish that I could just turn and never turn back, Mom said that, after the pain, it's one of the best feelings in the world, just can't believe I have to do this without her" Hop said and I felt terrible knowing she wouldn't have Hayley there with her.
"I know no one can replace your mom but I do want to help" Klaus told Hope "I know, but I need to be with Faith only right now" Hope said and I saw Klaus vision zero in on Hope's neck before sighing "as you wish" he said before walking off.
Later On
I noticed Hope was crying as I held her "hey guys" Hope and I hear and we turn around to see Davina "oh hey, Davina" Hope said and I smile "hey Davina" I say as well.
"Hi, you okay?" Davina asked Hope "no and I'm pretty sure I just drowned the memorial" Hope says honestly "oh, uh, I'm so sorry about Josh, by the way" Hope says and I nod in agreement.
"Thank you, how's your head?" Davina asked Hop "buzzing" Hope said and I sighed at the pain she felt "I can make you a tea that should help and never underestimate the power of wedding champagne" Davina said making us both chuckle.
"Do you think they'd let me skip the wedding? it's just with... the way that I feel, I don't want to ruin the day" Hope said and Davina and I looked at her in disbelief "no way, Hope you can't" I told her.
"Faith's right, you missing it would ruin the day, look, I know that you have a lot going on right now, but, you know, one thing I learned as a girl with the world on her shoulders at is that you need to live in the moment. Josh taught me that go on I'll catch up with you two" she says pushing us to get out of here.
"Thank you" Hope and I says and I held Hope's hand leading us off on to our next location and to get ready for the wedding.
The wedding
Hope and I were up the front as we held each other's hand waiting for the wedding to start as we saw Freya being brought down but Klaus and Elijah we both smiled at the sight.
"Dearly beloved, now, not to make this all about me, but we know how families work, sometimes it's dinner, and sometimes it's daggers, now, I don't know why it takes something as special as this to wake us up, to make us aware of the beauty in the moment, during the moment, or to be grateful for what we have, while we have it, now, I, for one, am grateful for today, and I'm grateful for all of you" Kol started off as he gazed at all of us with a certain emotion in his eyes.
"Keelin, when I first met you, I would have never predicted that you would become my sister, now, you're strong and beautiful and deserve nothing but the best in life" Kol said making me smile at the humble exchange.
As Freya and Keelin exchanged there vows and Hope gave the rings I couldn't help but hope one day I would have this and I could only think of one person to do it with as I gazed over at Hope.
"Now, by the power vested in me by a Franciscan monk in the 13th century, and by the Internet a few hours ago just to be on the safe side, I now pronounce you married you may both kiss the bride" Kol said as we all clapped in celebration.
"Tomar lento, namaz amor" Hope whispered making the butterfly effect out of the flowers making it all the more special.
Later on
Hope and Keelin we dancing together and I watched over them and enjoyed seeing Hope quite happy.
As she kept dancing I saw her lean slightly and got alarmed and placed ran over placing my arm around her waist causing her arm to fall around me as she leaned on me.
Turns out I wasn't the only one worried and I see everyone else coming closer "is she all right?" Klaus asked as I was looking over her "I'm fine, I'm fine" Hope said as she held onto me tighter.
"Yeah my medical diagnosis is too much champagne" Keelin said making us all smile a little.
"Oh, yeah speaking off, I would like to make a toast this has been the best day ever and you know what? you guys got a thousand years of moments like this one and being a part of this one really made Faith and I feel like we're part of "always and forever," too, so... cheers" Hope said making me smile.
"Cheers" we all said but while Hope was laughing at Keelin I couldn't help but notice the looks on Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah's face and knew something was wrong.
I needed to come up with a plan to protect Hope even if it meant changing myself, I would do anything to keep Hope safe no matter that cost because I needed her to live.
The Abattoir
I allowed Hope to have a chat with her Dad as I waited for him to be done because I needed to talk to him about my plan, it was the only way to keep her safe.
I saw him come out of Hope's room "Klaus" I said gaining his attention "can we talk" I asked and he nodded coming downstairs "what did you need" he asked me and I sighed looking down.
"I have a proposition in order to protect Hope" I said and he looked up intrigued "what could you do, you've done enough,Faith" he said and I shook my head.
"I can do more but I need your help" I told him and he nodded as if telling me to go on "I can't do much as a werewolf but I know if I was stronger, faster and better I could be more of an asset and would be able to help Hope" I say and he eyes go wide knowing what I meant.
"Now before you say no, I know its crazy - " I started "try absolutely insane" Klaus tells me "I know but, you gotta understand I know what it means and I've felt so useless these days and I know I can do better" I say trying to win him over.
"But I can't do it without you" I said and I could see he was starting to think it over "I just want to be able to protect Hope not only now but in the future as well, you won't be at the school I will be, I can protect her because I can't let her die and I won't" I tell him with such determination.
I saw something flash in Klaus's eyes and he chuckled "you remind me of me, give me a second" he said walking off and I started to pace.
Once he comes back I say he had a bowl of blood and I recognised the bowl from when we tried to do the binding spell.
"It's Hope's blood drink up" he said handing me the bowl and I did so and cringed at the taste but looked up knowing what was next "you ready" he asked me.
I nodded preparing myself for the feeling "do it" I asked him and I felt one hand on my shoulder and one on my head "I'm gonna make it as quick and painless" he said and I nodded and all of a sudden I just saw blackness.
Hope's POV
I heard a thud all of a sudden coming from downstairs and went to check out what was going on and say Faith on the floor not moving and I sobered up real quick.
"Faith" I screamed running down "what happened" I asked my Dad so confused "It was her decision, Hope" Dad said and I was so confused until I saw the familiar bowl that was used weeks ago.
"You didn't" I asked him but the look he was giving me I already knew the answer felt Faith moving before she leaned up gasping for air.
Faith's POV
I gasp for air and looked around to see Hope and Klaus and I look to Klaus "did it work" I asked him and he nodded "you need Hope's blood to complete the transition" he tells me and I nod.
I look over to Hope and she doesn't look happy in the slightest "why would you do this" she yelled at me and I look down before looking up again "I need to protect you Hope and this is the best way I can, I already have hybrid 101 down" I tell her.
"You do realise you are one of the few hybrids on the planet now" she tells me and I nod "I don't care as long as you don't die and I can protect you then it's worth it" I say and Hope grabs my hand pulling me up.
"Where are you going" Klaus asks "to my room this is being in private I'm not having my Dad watch as my best friend feeds off me" she says as we continue up to her room.
Hope's Room
Hope lead me over to her bed as I followed her "how do you want to do this" I asked and she sat me down grabbing a knife "do you want the wrist or the neck" she asked me and I choked on my spit.
"I have a choice" I asked confused and she nodded "of course you're not a random Faith" she said and I nodded "I don't want to make you uncomfortable" I tell her and she scoffs.
"Faith we've known each other for 8 or so years now I think we're fine" she tells me and I nodded "um is it ok if I go for the neck" I asked her and she nodded moving her hair to the side.
I went closer and smelt her blood and it was the smelt amazing I felt fangs grow and I turned away "hey its ok, just do it" she told as she placed a hand on the back of my head guiding me towards her neck.
When I was right there I placed a light kiss on her neck feeling bold "thank you" I whispered as I felt her fingers run through me hair "it's ok, just do it Faith" she told me.
I then felt my fangs pierce her neck and sucked tasting her blood and it was different but amazing I only took a small amount before I felt the transformation take affect pulling away.
I felt my eyes glowing with my fangs out as her eyes glowed back as mine confused my the gesture my went along with it "does that mean I'm sired to you now" I asked.
"I don't know, let's see, jump out the window" she said and I wait for the compulsive edge to do so but it didn't come "no" I said and was confused but doing so.
"So I'm not sired, which is weird" I said and she nodded "definitely weird but I've had enough for one day, time to sleep" she said pulling me down and the moment my head hit the pillow I was out.
What else was going to happen now
Author's Note
So that happened, I knew when Faith was gonna become a Hybrid but I didn't know how I was gonna write it but I was pretty happy with it!!!!
Only 2 more episodes to go and then the next phase!!!
I hope you enjoyed this one and hopefully, in the next day I'll be done with the originals!!!
