The dreaded day was here; the day your parents would meet your boyfriend. As you were getting out of the car to walk to your parent's house you grabbed Tony's hand and looked at him.
,,I'm nervous (Y/N). What if they dont like me?" You stopped and turned to face him.
,,Then we'll leave" you kissed his cheek and smiled at him ,,don't worry, we can leave if you wont feel comfortable. You know that this is only for my brother." Tony looked at you and gave you a weak smile. ,,Come on" He said and you continued won the quiet street. My relationship with my family wasnt easy, I had left hometown just before I even started high school. Then my parents wanted me to move back in and go to college there. But what should have I said? Yes mom I'll decline Yale scholarship so I could be home? No, ofcouse I went and studied at Yale. Wich made my mother furious and she refused to talk to me.
But she was still my mom. And my dad couldnt be more proud of me, his daughted in Yale. He made sure everyone in family knew, by everyone I mean e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e.
Of course my mom admitted she was just sad her little (Y/N) is in big bad world but thats how it goes. But that didnt make up for any of the nights you cried over them. Or over that you couldnt ask for their help. And even if your parents werent together anymore. They could always agree on one thing. Your boyfriend. They hated everyone of them. One was too short, the other too tall. One was too shy and other too talkative, serious, laid back. It was never ending cyrcle. Tony knew about this and he was nervous. There were so many things they could hate about him. He was sarcastic, had metal in his chest, a bad reputation, and mostly important he was a Stark. With your brother being the one who he shot down on his first mission your family HATED Stark. Stark tech, Stark tower, everything that had Stark on it. Everything and everyone.
*Tims skip to unpacking at your parent's*
Your parent weren't home. Which made you and Tony feel a little bit more relaxed. And you thought it would a good idea to unpack some of your things.
,,Soooo...are we sharing a bed?" Tony smirked as you two entered your old room. Your room consisted of one queen sized bed, a desk, some shelves, two tiny closets, and a bookshelf that filled most of the already full room.
,,It seems so." You threw yourself on the bed and turned back to Tony.
,,Unless you want to sleep with my brother."
Tony got on the bed so he was on top of me.
,,No, thank you." His voice was more seducing than usual. Something inside of you just clicked and you kissed him.
You and Tony agreed to take things slow and always make sure that whatever is was, the other person was comfortable with it. So you never went any further than kissing. It was just that you didn't feel ready...yet. Tony smiled into the kiss and pulled away, lying down next to you. You put his arm around you and moved yourself closer to him. Enjoying each other's presence. You refreshing memories from your childhood and Tony admiring your beauty. So you just let your muscles calm down.
,,(Y/N), honey. Wake up." A soft voice bought you out of your dream world. Mom, Mom! In a minite's notice you hugged your mom. She pushed you away after a moment of two. Still resting her arms on your shoulders.
,,So? Where is that boyfriend of yours?" She almost barked at me. She didnt even meet him and she already dissapproved of Tony. Your mom kept searching your room with her eyes. Seeing none to little trace of what could lead her to knowing more about your lover. Her sight was caught by something that you knew was trouble. Your mom pushed you aside with one swift movement. Opened up the red suitcase and pulled out one of Tony's shirts. Stark Industries logo.
,,What is this?" Your father pointed at the shirt with rage seeping through his words. ,,We do not support this...thing in our house!" You snatched away that shirt and stuffed it back inside the suitcase. ,,Mom, dad you will have to get used to it." They looked at you and your mother crossed her arms and your fathet doing so too.
,,Why is that young lady?". Father exclaimed, I opened my mouth to argue but his expression turned from rage to angriest anger. And my mother...her jaw was dropped. I look behind me and there is he. Standing silently with head down.
,,Oh, Tony" I said while grabbing his arm and moving myself closer to him.
,,What is this" my mother quickly asked. You could hear that she was trying to calm herself down. But not being that succesful.
,,Are you serious?" You dad yelled. Making you flinch and jump back. Your parent exchanged looks and looked back at Tony.
,,Please tell us this is a joke (Y/N)" your mother pleaded while looking at you, but still occasionally glancing at her husband.
,,It's not a joke miss (Y/L/N)" Tony spoke up, louder than usual but not loud enought to yell. ,,Me and your daughter are, and I dare say, in love." I smiled and leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek. Just to be immiedetaly pulled back by arms of your mother. Her nails dug down into your skin, leaving bloody trace when you put your hand to cover them. It hurt. But you were quiet. There was nothing that could express the dissappointment you felt. Your dad just hit Tony. And Tony didnt stop him. He fell down to the floor. You thought this was possible. Your parent werent perfect and this is what they would do to you when you were younger. But now, it was like someone took black marker and drew across their faces. Removing them from your life.
No words ever spoken, you made eye contact with Tony and you knew.
That wasnt your home anymore.
