"How was the mission?" I ask just as Natasha walks into the bedroom where I was working. Natasha has been away on a week-long mission with S.H.E.I.L.D. Don't know what it was for, and I don't care as long as she comes back alive.

"Tiring as always. And what about you?" Natasha asks as she strips herself of her suit.

"Running on three hours of sleep. I'm almost done with my assignment." I'm currently a college student going for my doctorate in literary arts. The assignment that I'm currently working on was blackout poetry; it's where we have to take a book, an entire book, and on every page, we have to pick out certain words to form a poem and blackout the rest. I, unfortunately, got stuck with the largest book possible so I had to work my tail off to do the whole thing. Due to my luck, it's due tomorrow when I go back to class.

"Babe, you need to get some sleep!" Natasha scolded me. She changed into some PJs and plopped straight onto the bed, she must've been too tired to take a shower. "What are you even working on?"

"Blackout poetry."

"What?"

"Blackout poetry is where you take a body of text and pick out certain words to form a poem or saying. Once you have a bit of a poem/saying, you blackout the rest of the text." I close the book, finally finished. I get up from the desk, feeling like I'm about to pass out. "Or, you write some poetry, and then blackout; like this!" My eyes close and I collapse to the floor. The last thing I heard before I completely went unconscious was Natasha laughing.

And that's how you do blackout poetry people!

(I apologize if this is horrible I have no ideas rn.)
