Sado and Y/N arrived back in Kouh as they both went their separate ways heading home. When Y/N arrived at his home, Issei and the others were having dinner which Y/N joined then since he was very hungry. He took his seat between Asia and Sona as they talked a bit about several things along with the Galaxy Dragon. After dinner was over, they went to their rooms as Asia wanted a kiss from Y/N which he has her. Once Sona and Y/N got to his room they got changed and got into bed.
Sona: So what did your dad wanted to talk about my parents?
Y/N: Beats me. I would've joined him however I got caught up with Sera giving me a death hug.
Sona giggled at him.
Sona: Well she was worried about you as well.
Y/N: Yeah I know. Said then mutters. Almost broke my back with that death hug.
Sona: What did she wanted if you don't mind me asking?
Y/N: Well wanted me to help heal Katerea who was still unconscious.
Sona: Yes I've asked her about her condition from time to time wondering if she was going to wake up so we can ask her questions.
Y/N: I doubt that you'll get answers from her.
Sona: Huh why's that?
Y/N: Simple terms, I healed her only to see that she has memory loss.
Sona: Memory loss? You can't be serious.
Y/N: Hey it's the truth. She says the only she remembers is that she's the true descended of the Leviathan.
Sona stayed quiet for a moment thinking about this before she spoke.
Sona: Well I guess we can't ask her about what their goals are, but what will we do with her?
Y/N: Look I'll talk to Sirzechs about her. I don't see her that much of a threat now. Who knows maybe she and your sister can get along and possibly share the title or whatever. Plus I have a feeling that we'll need as many allies as we can when we have to face Zakino and Galica.
Sona: I guess you're right about that. Though if she tries anything.
Y/N: Relax Sona she's not a threat to us. Just trust me.
Sona looked at him before she sighed as she smiled.
Sona: Alright. I believe you.
Y/N smiled as he kissed Sona on her lips. She returned the kiss as they had a small make our session before they need to pull back to get some air.
Sona: Just don't do anything stupid again alright.
Y/N: I can't guarantee it.
Sona was gonna say something but he silenced her by placing a finger on her lips.
Y/N: But for you anything. You have my word.
Sona smiled as she nodded.
Sona: Thank you. Said as she rested her head on his chest. Was there anything else she wanted or did Katerea told you?
Y/N wasn't sure how to answer that however Nova was laughing hearing this.
Nova: Yes what else did she tell you Y/N? Surely you know. Said with a grin.
Y/N 'thought': Pixie I swear I'm gonna kill you just shut up!!!!
Nova: Hahaha. Can't help it, partner. Women like very powerful men so she was bound to go after you.
Y/N grew several tic marks on his head as Nova laughed.
Sona: Y/N?
Y/N: Ugh yeah?
Sona: What else did she tell you?
Y/N didn't say anything to her however Sona pinched his check seeing this.
Sona: Y/N.
Y/N: Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!!! Sona that hurts!!
Sona: Tell me. Said as she pinches harder. Or it just gets worse.
Y/N: Ow ow ow ow ow, ok ok just stop it will ya!
Sona let go of him as he had some tears in his eyes as he held his check where Sona pinched him.
Y/N: Why the hell do you do that?
Sona: Well it gets you to talk. Said smiling.
Y/N: Damn water princess. Said slightly pouting.
Sona smiled as she kissed his cheek after she moved his hand.
Sona: That better. Said smiling.
Y/N: Still doesn't help with how I hate you pinching me.
Sona giggled at him.
Sona: I know but will you tell me now?
Y/N: Fine I'll tell ya just try not to overreact.
Sona: I won't, so what else did she tell you and my sister?
Y/N: Ugh well it isn't what she told us it's more like ugh how should I put this.
Sona: What is it?
Nova was chuckling to see this.
Nova: Oh you're lucky sometimes huh partner?
Y/N: Pixie. Shut up.
Nova chuckled even more trying not to bust out laughing.
Sona: Y/N?
Y/N: Well Katerea might have.......her sights on me.
Sona stayed quiet thinking about it before she pinched his check again harder than before.
Sona: Mind explaining? Said in a slightly angry tone.
Y/N: Ow ow ow ow ow ow!!!! Hey, it's not my fault alright!!
Sona: Oh? Said pinching his check harder. It's not?
Y/N: It's not honest!!! I just healed her ok! How am I supposed to know that she has her sights on me?!
Sona stared at him for a few moments before she let go of him.
Sona: So she has her sights on you for being her love or something? Said glaring at him.
Y/N: Ugh maybe. Said slightly scared. Look how was I supposed to know that she wanted me? She is like Kuroka ok seeing how she had a lust look in her eyes when she looked at me.
Sona didn't say anything to him which made him very nervous as he started to sweat a bit. After a few moments, she eventually sighed.
Sona: Great. Just how many girls are you planning on getting? Said slightly annoyed.
Y/N: Ugh well I'm not how to answer that. Said slightly nervous.
Nova: More than Issei to make him jealous that's for sure.
Y/N 'thought': Nova. SHUT. THE. FUCK UP!!!!!
Nova started to laugh hard as he was holding his stomach. Y/N wanted to punch him for what he said however he saw that Sona had some tears in her eyes.
Y/N: Sona?
Sona: I'm just worried that you'll just forget about me. Said crying slightly. Even after all that you did for me. I just-.
Y/N silence her by kissing her which surprised her as she slowly returned the kiss. They pulled back as she looked at him as he wiped away her tears.
Y/N: Don't say that Sona. There is no way I'll ever forget about you. Yeah, I know that more girls are falling for me however you will always be the first girl I love. That won't change. Said as he rested his head against hers. No matter what.
Sona smiled at him as she felt happy.
Sona: Really?
Y/N: Every word of it. Said smiling.
Sona giggled to herself as they both held each other in their arms smiles on their faces.
Sona: You know makes me wonder if we had a past like that's similar to this.
Y/N: What a princess that has a reckless dragon who does anything to protect her?
Sona giggled at this as she thought about it.
Sona: Maybe. But maybe it could be true.
Y/N: Yeah guess it could be.
Sona held his dragon hand in her as she placed it against her cheek.
Sona: You know your hand is rather soft even if it's a dragon's hand.
Y/N: You think so?
Sona: Yeah.
Y/N smiled as he rubbed his thumb on her cheek.
Y/N: No more crying alright.
Sona: Alright. Though if you're going to get more girls, they will have to talk to me first.
Y/N: R-right. Said slightly nervous.
Sona giggled as she rested her head on his chest.
Sona: Goodnight darling.
Y/N smiled as he wrapped his arms around her as his wings as well.
Y/N: Goodnight dear.
The two of them closed their eyes as they drifted off to sleep.
Morning came as they both woke up and got ready for school. As Y/N was brushing his teeth he looked down and saw that his arm had a scale that was different from the others. His hand was usually a bright white color however this one was a dark red color.
Y/N: The hell? Why is it a different color?
He stared at it for a moment before he shrugged it off and continued to brush his teeth. When he was done brushing his teeth he rinsed his mouth out with water and left the bathroom however what he didn't know that in his reflection was a dark pure evil version of him as his eyes had pure red and scales around his eyes with an evil grin.
Dark Y/N: Hehehhehhehe not much longer~. Just wait till I give you quite a lovely message from me. Hehehehehe can't wait to see your reaction. Said then vanished.
Y/N went downstairs and to his surprise, Tsubaki and the others were there along with Ryuji and his group as well as Reyna, Kala, Mittlet, Akame, Leone, and Ephi.
Y/N: Morning.
All: Morning Y/N.
Ryuji: Man didn't know you would have a sweet place Y/N. Said smiling.
Ann: Yeah it's totally cool!
Y/N: Well Sirzechs did this can't say I'm complaining. Said as he took his seat.
Tomoe: Well just so you know, we will be moving in as well.
Y/N: Huh?
Tsubaki: Yes that's correct. Said as she took a bit of her breakfast. It's what Azazel told us well rather ordered us.
Y/N: *sighs* Great that damn crow said to do this? Fucking hell.
Cyrus: Well it's not all bad buddy. Said smiling. We get to train together so it's a win in my opinion.
Y/N smiled at Cyrus as he started to eat his breakfast.
Y/N: Yeah be good to spar against ya.
Cyrus: Yeah.
Everyone started to eat breakfast together as they talked a bit. When they were done, they started to walk to school. Y/N looked over to Issei seeing how he had a perverted grin as he stared at Reyna and Rias's tits which he slapped his head hard.
Y/N: You better keep ya damn perverted thoughts at bay, alright? Said whispering to him. If I find ya having any perverted thoughts about any of my girls or even going through their laundry your 'palace' will be burned off got it?
Issei nodded in response fearing this. Y/N smiled as they continued to walk to school. They got to school with no problem however Y/N couldn't help but notice that Callon and Exar weren't their usual self. Normally they're a bit more cheerful and full of like however they're were which was very unusual for Callon. The school day went on as it usually did and when it was over, Y/N went to go and talked to Callon as Exar had left to go somewhere. He went to Callon's office as he was doing some work when he entered.
Callon: Ah Mr. Hyoudou, what can I do for you?
Y/N: Actually I wanted to ask you something.
Callon: Oh what would that be?
Y/N: It's about what happened then.
Callon stared at him before he sighed as he got up from his seat.
Callon: Follow me.
Y/N followed Callon to a secluded part of the school as he leaned against a tree as he crossed his arms looking at Y/N.
Callon: You're probably wondering what happened back at the ruins huh.
Y/N: Yeah. Normally you're more cheerful and happy not being a slump and sour person like how you are.
Callon laughed at this.
Callon: Sour and slumpy huh? Hehehe that's a good one. You know how to cheer people up that's for sure. Said smiling.
Y/N: So what happened? Why are you guys acting so different than before?
Callon stayed quiet for a while which made Y/N worry before he spoke.
Callon: We ran into two of our old enemies that we thought we never see again.
Y/N: Old enemies?
Callon nodded in response.
Callon: Amrey and Odus.
Y/N: Who are they exactly?
Callon: Odus was once Exar closest friend, he even called him brother at one point however that changed. As for Amrey, he's someone that I must defeat no matter what.
Y/N: What do you mean?
Callon: Long before I became Lord Nova's knight, I used to live in a small elven village in a forest that no human could enter since we cast a barrier that prevented that. Our elf village was nothing special we had our way of life with schools trading with other elven villages in the land along with military training as well. I used to be a knight in our Lord's army as I had quite the reputation of being a strong knight as I never lost and I have always been friendly to everyone no matter who they are. I even got the sight of the king's daughter as she started to fall for me and I for her.
Y/N: Hold up you were in love?
Callon: Yes that's right. said smiling. She was the most beautiful elf woman I've ever seen. She had such beautiful emerald eyes and long lush hair that shined like the sun. Just thinking about her just makes me feel happy and her smile soothes my soul. Oh, how I wish I could be with her.
Y/N: What happened?
Callon started at the ground as he gripped his arms tightly.
Callon: We were attacked out of nowhere, by Amery and his damn troops. It was something that we didn't expect to happen.
Flashback
It's a night as the fire had erupted in the elven village as citizens were running for their lives. Callon along with other fellow knights were currently fighting against dark elves that attacked the village.
Callon: Keep attacking men!! Drive them out and protect the citizens!!!
Knight: Sir Callon our King needs help!!! We can't get to him!
Callon: I shall go and assist our King!! Stay here and protect the citizens!!
Knights: Right!!!!
Callon quickly ran through the village as he had to slash through several dark elves that were blocking his was while the village houses were being as but of them fell from above. It took him some time as he eventually made it to the king's palace as it was on fire and bodies of his fellow knights laid scattered all over the ground dead.
Callon: Damn it who could've done this.
Just then he heard a scream coming from the inside of the palace getting his attention.
Callon: Vaeri? HOLD ON IM COMING!!
He quickly ran inside through the flames following where she heard the scream. He ran through several of the hallways until he burst through the main doors leading to the throne room as he saw a horrific sight. The king was laying in the steps as he had his chest slashed open and a dark elf holding Vaeri by her throat as a sword had just pierced her body as blood started to pour out of her body.
Callon: VAERI!!!!!
The dark elf heard this as he pulled his sword out of her and tossed her to the side before he turned around to face him.
???: Hehehe another knight? Well now let's see what you have?
Callon gripped his sword tightly as he dashed towards him at lighting speed in pure anger.
Callon: You bastard!!!!
The two of them clashed swords as they went back and forth.
???: Hahaha!! You're better than those weaklings I killed!
Callon: I'll make you pay for what you did!!!
???: By all means, try!!!
They continued to clash back and forth chipping away at each other's armor. The dark elf was able to wound Callon by slashing his chest as it wasn't deep enough to wound him. Callon was able to make him drop his swords as he slashed his chest before he kicked him away and cast a magic spell at him.
Callon: Now parish!!!!
The magic attack struck the dark elf causing a massive explosion in the room. When the dust settled, the dark elf was surprisingly still alive as he was badly wounded.
???: Hehehe yes YES!!! Said looking up at him with a mad grin. This is what a fight is!!!!
Callon saw that half of the elf's face was gone along with some of his skin was missing before his body sprouted wings
???: I'll remember you, damn Knight!! For you haven't seen the last of me!!!
Callon: Coward you're running?!
???: Running? Hahaha!! I've done what I needed to do here!! Remember my name cause you'll need to get stronger to really kill me!!
The elf's body started to change into armor as it glared at him.
Amrey: My name is Amrey elf scum remember it well cause I will kill you so that your entire kind is whipped from the earth!!!!!
Amrey flew out of the throne room in a hole in the ceiling. Callon gritted his teeth in anger and was about to give chase but stopped. He looked over to see Vaeri still alive as he quickly ran over to her.
Callon: Vaeri!!
Vaeri: C....callon?
Callon helped as he rested her in his knee as he cast a healing spell on her wound.
Callon: Please stays with me Vaeri! I'll heal you up just please stay with me!!
Vaeri only smiled at him as she rested her hand on top of his.
Vaeri: It's fine Callon. It's no use now.
Callon: No please stop talking!! I'll heal you and we can escape!
Vaeri shook her head as Callon started to shed tears.
Callon: Damn it. I'm sorry. Said as tears fall. I'm so so sorry.
Vaeri: It's fine Callon. Said smiling weakly.
Callon: It's not! I should've been with you to protect you! Damn it all!!
Vaeri chuckled a bit as she coughed up blood.
Callon: Vaeri!
Vaeri: It's fine.....Callon.
Callon wanted to speak but couldn't as he felt so sad and guilty for not being able to protect her. Vaeri slowly took off the necklace that was around her neck as she gave it to Callon.
Callon's eyes widen as Vaeri placed it in his hands.
Callon: This is.
Vaeri: It was the gift that you gave me a while ago. Said smiling.
Callon tried to hold his emotions in as more tears fell from his eyes. Vaeri slowly brought her hand to his check getting his attention.
Vaeri: It's fine Callon. There is no need to hold back your tears.
Callon: Vaeri. Said crying.
Vaeri: Please you must leave and live for us.
Callon: But I.
Vaeri: Callon.
Callon looked at Vaeri as she was smiling. He slowly brought his head closer to hers as their lips then connected of pure love. The kiss lasted for what felt like an eternity before they pulled back from each other.
Vaeri: I love you, Callon. Said smiling with tears in her eyes.
Callon: I love you as well Vaeri. Said smiling with tears in his eyes.
Vaeri slowly closed her eyes as he spoke.
Vaeri: Please go and live.....for us.......darling.
Callon: Vaeri.........Vaeri.....VAERI!!!!!
Callon's eyes widen in shock as Vaeri was snow dead in his arms smiling. His emotions he tried to keep within him couldn't be held back as he hugged Vaeri lifeless body close to her as his emotions poured out of him as the palace slowly started to collapse around them.
Flashback end.
Y/N couldn't help but feel sad for him. Callon was holding the necklace in his hand that Vaeri has to him before she died.
Callon: Since then I've trained every day pushing myself to my limits hoping that one day that I could avenge her and my people yet I haven't gain any progress.
Y/N's wings came as Nova started to speak to him.
Nova: That's not true Callon. You and Exar have gained a lot of power since then and I wouldn't have picked anyone else to be my knight.
Callon stayed quiet as he stated at necklace. Y/N was worried as he saw him looking at his necklace as he looked at his. He stared at it for a moment before he smiled.
Y/N: You know there is something that I kinda know how you feel.
Callon looked up to see Y/N holding a necklace that was holding a scale.
Callon: What is that?
Y/N: It's a scale from my mother in her dragon form.
Callon was surprised to hear this.
Y/N: I honestly never got to know what she was like and I never will. Though there is one thing that I know.
Callon: What would that be?
Y/N held the scale in his hand tightly as he looked at him.
Y/N: Training by yourself can only get you so far however if ya have friends that you can count on, you'll be able to get more powerful than just by yourself.
Callon was shocked to hear this as he could see Vaeri standing beside him smiling.
Callon 'thought': Vaeri.
Vaeri smiled at him as she nodded to what Y/N said. Callon smiled as he close his hand holding his necklace.
Callon: Guess you're right. Said smiling. You are a bit like her with how you act.
Y/N: Really?
Callon nodded as he summoned his sword as he stuck his sword in the ground in front of him. He knelt as he placed his hand on the sword as it started to glow.
Callon: To this vow, I shall protect you from all your enemies and vow to uphold your Honor. No matter who your enemies maybe I shall be your sword to battle your foes. I shall be your protector and knight in the name Callon Eilhorn and under King
Ilbryen Heicyne.
The sword glowed brightly as slowly died down revealing two new swords.
Y/N was surprised to see this.
Y/N 'thought': Is this some kind of Balance breaker?
Nova: In a way it is. For a long time, Callon has always been focusing on training so hearing this from you has helped him to see the real reason to train and to live.
Callon slowly stood up as he grabbed the swords. He pulled them out of the ground as he swung both of them sending a gust of wind out. Callon smiled as he looked at swords.
Callon: This sword used to belong to my king.
Y/N: It did?
Callon nodded as he looked at him.
Callon: Thank you Y/N. You helped me remember something I have forgotten what I learned about being a knight and value for my friends.
Y/N: Don't mention it, Callon. I'm just happy to help.
Callon: I know though I hope you can help with Exar as well.
Y/N: I'll do what I can to help him.
Callon: Hehe Lord Nova please forgive me for not being true to myself and telling you my true intentions.
Nova: It's fine Callon. I do expect you to work even harder than before to make up for you not telling me the truth.
Callon: Yes sir!! It's shall be done!! As I will train the knights of the Gremory and Sitri household even more!!
Y/N chuckled at him.
Y/N: Just try not to overdo it, Callon. We need them to be still in peak condition alright.
Callon: Certainly Sir Y/N! Hahaha!!!
Y/N smiled seeing that Callon was now back to his usual self. They both went back to school and went about for the rest of their days.
Over the next few days school was pretty normal for everyone as they did contracts and of course, Y/N dating each of the girls respectively and hanging out with Ryuji and the others. Their bonds deepen with each day that went by as they also trained with each other. One day however was unique for Y/N.
It was as they were heading home when Y/N started to sweat profusely as his breathing was rapid.
Sona: Everything ok Y/N?
Y/N: Ye-yeah I'm f-fine. Said trying to act normal.
He walked for about a few more feet before he collapsed on the ground.
All: Y/N!!
Asia: What's wrong with him?
Sona quickly knelt beside him and placed her hand on his forehead.
Sona: He's burning up. Said surprised.
Tsubaki: We need to get him home quickly.
Sona nodded as she was gonna help Y/N however he jumped back away from them as he was on his hands and knees breathing even more rapidly.
Y/N: D-Don't get closer. Please.
Meguri: Why?
Sona started to walk closer to him however he backed up away from her as his dragon features started to show more and more.
Sona: Y/N.
Y/N: G-get back, please. I don't wanna hurt you. Said trying to control his instincts.
They were confused by this until they heard someone shouting in the distance.
???: HOLD IT!!!!
Before they could turn around, Sado appeared in front of Y/N grabbing hold of his shoulder.
Y/N: D-dad?
They teleported away from Sona and the others leaving them confused about what happened.
Momo: What was Y/N's father doing here?
Tomoe: I'm not sure.
They continued to walk home and when they entered they saw Sado was sitting in the living room waiting for them.
Sado: Ah hello everyone.
Sona: Hello Mr. Sado.
Sado: Just Sado is fine Sona.
Asia: What's wrong with Y/N? Said in a worried tone.
Reya: Is he ok? Said in a worried tone.
Sado: Yes he's fine for now at least.
They all let out a sigh of relief hearing this.
Kala: Why was he acting like that?
Sado rubbed the back of his head as he felt a bit uncomfortable about this.
Sado: Well it's his dragon half that's kicking in at this time.
Yura: His dragon half?
Sado nodded to her.
Sado: Yep and luckily I was able to find you just in time when I did.
Sona: Why's that?
Sado took a moment as he took a deep breath and looked at him.
Sado: Well it's actually the time of year where his matting instincts kick in.
