The bell rings and it's lunch time. I made it through another hour of the day. Phew. Just 3 more after lunch. I walk out quickly and go to my locker as I see Damian walk in front of me.
"Hey Marcy" says Damian laughing.
I carefully put my stuff in my locker.
"What do you want now Damian."
"Nothing really."
"Good..." I slam my locker and put the lock back on.
"Look Marcel."
All of a sudden I'm being pinned to my locker, with his hand around my neck as people watch from the side.
No one helps. No one says anything. They never do. They never will.
I try to pull down his hand but he just grips me tighter.
"If you touch her, your gone."
"W-w-who?" I say through my closed throat.
"You know who." He lets go, letting me fall down to the floor.
Great. One more problem to worry about. Not talking to her. Not even maki eye contact with her, just to be sure. People walk away, like nothing happened.
"Thanks..." I mutter to myself as I accidentally run into Natalie.
Oh please no. Don't say anything Marcel. Remember what he said. Don't talk to her. Don't talk to her. Don't talk to her. I try to walk past quickly but she chases after me.
"Marcel right?" She asks as I turn around.
"Um y-yeah. W-what do you w-want." I say with my high voice and stutters through the sentence.
"Are you gonna let that boy push you around like that?" She asks, wiping some dust off of my shoulder.
"He told me n-not to talk to y-you or else."
"He can't do anything to you Marcel." She says, frowning.
"He already h-has so what's the p-point." I say walking away quickly.
At least I know she cares about me. I think.
