Tori and Jade talked the whole travel back to Tori's house after school. They talked about what they liked and their goals and projects after they would've graduate from Hollywood Arts. They discovered to have more in common than what they thought, like the fact that both of them were thinking about attending a performing college in LA to continue to improve their acting and singing skills. Jade wanted to be a director one day while Tori was hoping to become a popstar but they were also both into acting and musicals.
"Wait, Tori Vega wants to go to college?" Jade asked her surprised at some point
"Yeah, why, is it so strange?" Tori giggled
"No, I just... I mean you sang at the Platinum Awards. Didn't Mason Thornesmith promised you a deal after that, to record songs for Neutronium records?" Jade asked her
"Well, he never called me after my performance and I had not signed anything yet unfortunately. I was supposed to get that deal after my performance at the Awards but even though I was the one who sang in the end, he had originally replaced me with you, after I refused to obey his team that wanted me to keep acting like a complete gank... Remember? They gave me all those ridiculous outfits to wear"
Jade chuckled a little at the memory, nodding while Tori continued "Anyway, I guess after everything that happened, Mason wasn't obliged to keep his word and give me the deal he had originally promised me with his label." Tori told her with an hint of disappointment in her tone of voice and expression
"That prick... I thought he would have kept his word with you after seeing your performance..." Jade said shaking her head
Tori shrugged "Yeah, well, he didn't. But don't worry about it. I loved to perform in front of so many people... And you have been so nice to me that night. That's all that matters" she took Jade's hand in hers as the Goth smiled.
"To hell with him. I'm sure an amazing singer like you will have tons of other opportunities" Jade told Tori reaching with hand to brush the other girl's thigh.
Tori blushed at that placing her hand on Jade's "Thanks. I hope so." she said before looking up at the other girl with a curious expression "So, I have a question for you!" Tori said
"Shoot"
"OK..." Tori looked a bit hesitant "Why did you use to... you know... hate me?"
Jade smirked "Use to? Who says I stopped?" she teased her girlfriend
"Yeah, I can see how much you still hate me, I mean you're just kissing me all the time since last night, afterall..." Tori said sticking her tongue out at her.
"I know right you can totally see my hatred now more than ever" Jade said and both girls laughed before Tori playfully nudged the Goth girl's shoulder as she continued "But seriously, I never really hated you, I just couldn't really stand you"
"Oh, that's a lot better!" Tori said sarcastic
Jade just kept chuckling
"Anyway, can you tell me, whyyy?" Tori asked with a fake hurt tone
"You know why Tori. I'm just a total bitch" Jade replied making Tori roll her eyes
"No you're not! You can be nice if you want. You proved it to me many times. Come on give me the truth!" the half Latina protested
Jade tucked a strand of hair behind her ear trying to hide her incoming blush "Well... I guess I was jealous cause you... you're so perfect and you have everything"
"Oh please I don't have everything and I'm far from perfect" Tori immediately replied
"Yes you are! You have the look, the talent, the kindness and friends and a family who support you. You have people who care about you! And you should be grateful for it" Jade snapped at her.
Tori looked at her a bit intimidated "I am... I didn't mean to say I'm not grateful for all those things, in fact I am every day"
Jade brushed her girlfriend's hand with her thumb "I know you are... Sorry... It's just... My family is so distant from me, instead. My parents never supported my talents and passions"
Tori looked at her with a moved expression "I'm sorry to hear that" she leaned on her to give her a peck on the cheek "Well... I support you"
Jade smiled grateful at her "Thanks... Anyway, I think I used to be such a grunch to you because I had to work my ass off to get into Hollywood Arts, while you got in without even wanting it just because you were so damn good. Like I said I was just jealous"
"Jade it's okay, I'm sorry if I caused you to fe..." Tori started but Jade cut her off
"Stop. Seriously you have nothing to be sorry for. It was my fault for being jealous and thinking bad of you. Just like when I thought you wanted to steal Beck from me even after you had helped me get back together with him... But mostly I think I used to be mean to you cause despite everything, I still couldn't get you off my mind. I didn't want to admit that I actually really liked you... " Jade admitted with a light shade of pink coloring her cheeks.
"Aww! Jadey!" Tori cooed
Jade rolled her eyes "What is it with people calling me that? Tori I really like you but if you want to date me never call me 'Jadey' again. Got it?" she said in an intimidating tone but Tori could see she was clearly smiling
The half Latina giggled "Got it! For the record I really like you too... Jade!" she said leaning in for a kiss.
They were enjoying talking with each other so much that they decided to stay in Jade's car, parked in Tori's driveway a little more, just to continue to talk after their travel back from school. After talking for at least half an hour, they both went silent at one point, to stare at one another. They were both feeling happy but at the same time a little sad, regretting all the time spent bickering in the past instead of just having a real conversation like they were doing now. An enlighting conversation, to just realize that they were meant to be...
"I'm sorry" Jade said at some point surprising Tori
"For what?" Tori asked her
"For not doing this before... Getting to know you better I mean." Jade said
"It's my fault... I should've never kissed Beck during alphabet improve, back when we met. I knew he was with you, but I wanted to make you mad. I was so immature" Tori replied
"Please! I deserved that. Have you forgotten what I did to you during your first day of school? Pouring coffee all over your hair" Jade said caressing Tori's long brunette hair and making her smile flattered "And instead of apologizing to you and getting to know you better I've continued to be a bitch all the time, even after you proved me that I could trust you. I shouldn't have treated you like that, and for all this time... I'm sorry. Such a beautiful girl like you deserves someone better than me" Jade told her looking down
"Oh Jade, you're so kind! But never say that last thing again: you're the only one I want to be with!" Tori blushed. She didn't know if it was too soon for Jade to hear her say that but she was glad to see that the Goth girl was smiling flattered and also blushing a little. Tori mentally asked herself if this was the right time to tell Jade that she was in love with her but then decided it was best not overstepping too much, so she just said "Who cares what we both did in the past, what matters now is the present. And by the way... you're so beautiful too Jade." Tori told her with a huge smile
Jade smirked "Thank you, baby" she said wrapping her arms around Tori's neck to pull her closer and kiss her.
They started making out in the car for several minutes in Tori's driveway, touching each other's bodies "Mhmm... Your skin is so soft and perfect" Jade said breaking their kiss for a moment while she was caressing Tori's bare back from under her shirt, hugging her. Tori spent the whole afternoon trying on many outfits for her date. She didn't know where they were going to, but Jade had told her to dress well, so Tori wanted to look absolutely perfect for her girlfriend. "Calm down! I'm sure Jade will love the way you dressed up for her!" Trina reassured her sister.
"Thank you sis" Tori replied smiling
"Just make sure she doesn't take you to a cemetery or a morgue or some other creepy place like that. Knowing her, it's very possible!" Trina added laughing. Tori shook her head but chuckled too before hugging her sister.
Just before 8:00 PM Tori came down the stairs and sat on one of her sofas. She was nervously fumbling with some locks of her hair, when her mother arrived from the kitchen.
"Hey you! You're lucky your father had to work tonight, cause I don't think he would be too comfortable to let his little girl go to a party with a dress like this one!" Holly Vega told her daughter looking at her.
"Oh, hmm, well... You have nothing to worry about, it's just a small party and... Jade, Cat, André and all my close friends will be there. I just like dressing up, you know that mom!" Tori lied to her mom trying not to look her in the eyes
"Ok then but still, be careful honey"
"Of course mom"
In that moment her door bell rang and Tori stood up immediately, very agitated. Than she took a long breath and went to open the door grinning happily. Her mother noticed that and smiled.
As soon as she opened the door Tori's jaw dropped. Jade was dressed in a blue dress that revealed a lot of her cleavage and that was as short as Tori's one. Her thighs were bare and she had open toed dark heels revealing black polished toenails. Her black hair had blue stripes in them, matching the color of her dress. She also had dark make up on. She was so beautiful that Tori's heart started to beat even faster in that moment. Jade seemed also stunned for a few seconds seeing Tori in her sexy red dress, but she was the first to regain control of herself "Ready to go?" Jade said clearly trying to act nonchalant knowing that Tori's mother was right behind her. Tori said hurrying to pick her purse "See you later mom!" Tori said.
"Bye girls, don't be too late Tori, I trust you!" Holly said
"Don't worry Mrs. Vega I will give her a ride home after... the party" Jade told her before turning to give Tori a little smirk, making her blush
"Aw thank you... Jade right? Call me Holly" Jade nodded and waved at her before Tori said her goodbyes and walked out the door with her girlfriend. As soon as they were out of the house and the door was closed, the two girls started hugging happily before passionately kissing.
When they parted from each other Tori said "Jade, you look simply...amazing! for a moment I thought I would have kissed you right there and then, in front of my mom!"
Jade laughed "Oh my, you're so naughty Jade! First you made me lie to my mom and now you make me little innocent Tori Vega, all hot and bothered!" she teased her in her mocking imitation of Tori's voice.
Tori pretended to look annoyed before speaking "Really? You're going to do this even now that we are together? Come on, I don't talk like that!" Jade kept laughing "And stop mocking me, I saw how your eyes were popping out aswell, when I opened the door!" Tori countered
"Yeah well you look pretty hot too, but you were the one ogling my tits with your mouth hanging open, and in front of your mom nonetheless!" Jade said looking amused
"Oh damn, I was?" Tori asked and Jade nodded at her giggling. Tori covered her face with her hands embarrassed. Jade laughed even more and took one of the Latina's hands in hers to lead her girlfriend to her car, opening the passenger door for her. Tori smiled widely at that. They got into the car and Jade started to drive pulling out of the Vega's driveway. They were silent for a bit. Jade kept peeking at Tori's legs. "So... Where are we going?" Tori asked with a smile

"Sweet? Me? Hmph..." Jade replied sarcastic. After a bit she felt Tori's hand on one of her bare legs.
"You are" Tori told her. Jade felt goosebumps forming on her skin at Tori's touch. Tori noticed that and started rubbing her girlfriend's thigh with her thumb. Jade turned to look at her to see Tori smiling. She was so beautiful that Jade didn't want to stop looking at her, even though she knew she had to, because she was driving and needed to pay attention to the road.
"If you say so..." Jade told her looking at Tori still mesmerized from her beauty. Tori leaned to her pecking Jade with a quick kiss on the lips
After some minutes of driving Jade pulled in the parking lot of a nice Italian restaurant called 'Drusilla's', and parked. After getting out of the car she hurried to go open Tori's door for her. Tori smiled again at the gesture and thanked her with a low voice. Before entering the restaurant Tori took Jade's hand in hers. Jade looked at their hands for a moment and then in front of her, at the people in the restaurant. They could see through the glass windows that the restaurant was almost full. Jade knew that her and Tori were about to be seen in public as a couple. As a lesbian couple...
"You ok with this?" Tori asked, noticing Jade looking a bit nervous. But seeing Tori smiling so happy, was enough for Jade to regain all of her confidence.
She smiled back at her girlfriend and nodded looking at Tori up and down for a moment before leaning her face to the Latina's ear to whisper "By the way, this dress looks wonderful on you. When I look at you, I always think that you are so unbelievably stunning. Sometimes without even trying... But tonight you look simply incredible. I know it's corny, but... I think you might be the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen, Tori Vega" Jade said.
Tori giggled flattered "With one possible exception... I mean you must have looked at yourself at the mirror so you obviously know how gorgeous you also look tonight" she said looking at her girlfriend with her big brown eyes. Jade was smirking but Tori noticed that she was also blushing lightly for the compliment.
"Thanks... But tell anyone I told you those things and..."
"Yeah yeah, you'll deny it because Jade West has to hide how wonderful and sweet she really is, right?" Tori teased her
Jade blushed more but tries to hide it "I just don't want people to think I've gone all soft for you miss goody two shoes!" she teased her back, saying the last part in her southern bell voice.
Tori sighed "Ok... I give up... I guess I'll have to live with you doing that voice even now that we are dating"
Jade laughed "Atta girl" she said before opening the door of the restaurant for them to enter. The girls walked into the restaurant hand in hand. As Jade told the waitress their reservation, she led them to their table. A candle was in the middle of the table cloth that had a dark red color. The atmosphere of the Drusillas was that of a typical italian restaurant but a classy one. As soon as they sat down the waitress gave them the menus. Tori ordered a plate of lasagna while Jade took spaghetti with meatballs. After the waitress went away Jade started to speak.
"You like this place?" Jade asked Tori
"I love it! I didn't know you were so... romantic Jade. I suppose that's another thing you don't want people to know huh?" Tori teased her taking a sip of water
Jade smiled but then became thoughtful "We used to come here often when I was little... Me and my parents" she started to say looking around the place. Tori noticed that she had spotted a family with a little kid at a table nearby, and saw that her girlfriend was looking at them with a nostalgic look on her face as she continued "I loved it here you know? The atmosphere, the food... I would have ordered spaghetti with meat balls every time... It was... it is one of my favorite plates" Tori looked at her in awe. She had never seen Jade getting so emotional. She didn't know what to say, because even though that memory seemed to make Jade happy, it was clear that there was something about it that was making her very sad at the same time. Afraid of interrupting her Tori just nodded at her girlfriend expecting her to go on with her story. Jade continued "What I liked the most though, was seeing my parents smiling at each other and me. I remember that I used to feel so happy... So lucky... But then... they decided that their job was more important than their marriage. Than our family... even than me" she said. Tori reached across the table for Jade's hand. She could see the hurt look in her girlfriend's eyes. "Jade... I'm so sorry" Tori said. She briefly wondered if Jade had developed her Goth style and angry attitude because of her parents' divorce and lack of attentions for her. "My mom works as a manager, for public relationships of a big pharmaceutical company so she often travels for work to promote new drugs... I live with her but she is currently in San Francisco for a convention. My father is a lawyer here in LA instead. When they divorced I was with him at the start, cause my mom couldn't take care of me because of her job. But then when he got remarried I started hating him... I didn't like his new slutty of a wife. And my hate for him just increased when I got older and he wouldn't let me pursue my passion for acting, screenwriting and singing by going to Hollywood Arts. At that point I was fighting with my dad every day"
"He didn't understand how much attending Hollywood Arts meant to you?" Tori interjected. Jade shook her head no, her face stern "He believed that I was just 'trying to catch the wind', wasting my time with impossible child's dreams that only one in a million is able to achieve especially in this city. Those were his words to me... He thought... still thinks actually, that I'm not seriously thinking about my future. My mom was also skeptic but at least she understood how passionate I was about attending Hollywood Arts. It's thanks to her if I'm at that school now. That's why I decided to go back to live with her a few years ago. Even though she pays little to no attention to me since she is almost never home, she understands me better than my father and pays for my school". Jade said before remaining silent for a bit.
"That's why you wanted to show your dad that play I helped you with? You wanted to show him your talent, right?" Tori asked her
"Yeah I wanted to prove him wrong and show him that I AM seriously thinking about my future. That's why I couldn't let Mrs. Lee and her stupid daughter ruin my play and making me look like a fool in front of him. But despite how good that play was, you saw his reaction... he barely said anything about it" Jade was saying so Tori interjected again "I remember that he told you that he liked your play. You also said you had never seen him so happy before"
"I was joking. But it's kinda true. Ever since he divorced from my mom I've never seen him really happy or even just smiling except for when he started dating his new stupid wife. But of course his job was all he cared about in the end, so his new marriage didn't last much. He divorced from her too, last year. Anyway, I doubt that he really liked my play back then. You saw him. He was impassive while watching it. My father has that look on his face when his opinion about something hasn't changed. He was probably just pitying me" Jade said. Her eyes were beginning to fill with unshed tears. "I don't think he was pitying you Jade. But I'm so sorry you don't have a good relationship with your parents..." Tori said. She saw Jade looking down like she was fighting back tear. Tori was about to stand up to go hug her, but in that moment a waiter brought them their orders. As soon as he left, Tori still wanted to stand up to reach for Jade but her girlfriend motioned her to stay sit.
"Sorry about that, I guess this place makes me a little... emotional, but now let's enjoy the food and the rest of the evening!" she said
"Jade, if you still want to talk about it, I-" Tori started
"No I don't want... Sorry Tori. But it's ok. Really. Let's eat and enjoy ourselves" Jade told her. Tori nodded not wanting to push her too much. Tori's parents were together from high school times and even if they had their fights and her father was not home very often, cause he worked as a police officer, him and her mom always stayed together, so she couldn't imagine how Jade felt when her parents divorced especially since, according to what she had been saying, she was still very young when that happened. And Tori had always not only her parents but also Trina, while growing up. Jade on the other hand must have felt very lonely, with a father who didn't understand her passions and a mother who was never home and no siblings. Tori could understand now why sometimes Jade seemed so angry at the whole world.
Despite thinking about all of these things, Tori decided to drop the subject like Jade had suggested. The two started enjoying their date, eating while talking about normal stuff. Tori told Jade some funny stories of her old school and about her and Trina's childhood, that seemed to distract Jade and even made her laugh a few times. Then they shared some bites of their respective foods, feeding each other with their forks so that Jade could have eaten a bite of Tori's lasagna and Tori could have tasted some meatballs of Jade's spaghetti. After a nice dinner, Tori grabbed her purse but Jade quickly stopped her and despite her protests, she payed the bill for the both of them.
"The good thing about parents that are never home because of their big shot job, is that you are never short on cash!" she said.
After that they were out of the restaurant heading to Jade's car.
"So, did you like the food?" Jade asked her girlfriend
"Oh Jade it was so good, I love Italian food. I feel so full right now!" Tori replied
"Good, I love it too" Jade said while opening her car's door for the Latina, to let her enter. Tori smiled and kissed her on the cheek to thank her "Who said chivalry is dead?" Tori said making Jade smile too. When Jade also got inside her car she said "Come on, I will take you home now, your mother doesn't want you to be late, remember?"
"Jade I was thinking... Maybe I can keep you company tonight, since you said you are all alone at your house... what do you think?" Tori asked her a bit shyly but smiling
Jade that was turning the ignition key, looked at her grinning "I would love that Tori. But what about your mom, you think she will be ok with that?" she asked her.
Tori seemed a bit unsure "I'll just tell her the truth. Well, part of the truth: that you're all alone at your house tonight and that I wanted to keep you company, so we will have a sleepover at your place". Jade nodded and Tori quickly called her mother with her phone. After talking for a bit and even handing Jade the phone so she could've also speak with Holly, Tori was finally able to make her mom agree to let her sleep at Jade's place. Happy, the two young girls smiled at each other. Tori kept caressing one of Jade's arms and kissing her bare shoulder every now and then while the Goth was driving. Jade had to bit her bottom lip more than once from how turned on she was feeling because of that. Tori was teasing her so much and to think that in a few minutes they would have been at home, alone just the two of them... Jade's house was very big and modernly furnished. Tori had never been there before and was surprised from how... normal it looked. She always pictured Jade's house to be a scary looking mansion or something like that. Tori shook her head thinking about how childish she was for picturing Jade's house like that just because of her Goth style.
"You have a very nice house!" Tori finally said looking around
"This is the house where I lived for most of my life, before I moved to my dad's just to come back here a few years ago, cause... like I told you before, my father is a dick" Jade said.
Tori laughed a bit but said "Jade! He is still your dad..."
"Yeah sure" Jade replied "Anyway this house it's ok you know... But I like it a lot better now that you are here..." she continued, pulling Tori closer by the hips to kiss her on the mouth. Tori and Jade's tongues started dancing with each other in their mouths. Tori was feeling in ecstasy as her hands were travelling lower on Jade's back while the Goth was caressing one of her legs. Jade's hand was grazing Tori's stocking with her nails and she had to use all of her self control to stop her hand from going up and under Tori's dress. The walls had a greenish wallpaper covering them. On some of them there were a series of dark paintings and pictures. What they were supposed to represent was not much clear to Tori as most of them just looked sinister and confusing to her eyes. Jade also had a collection of dead bugs and butterflies. Posters of Heavy metal and Rock bands and even one of Al Pacino's Scarface were decoring the room. There were also various lamps and candles placed all around the room. Tori noticed numerous shelves with skulls on them, a collection of many pair of scissors next to a brass knuckles, a lighter and other weird objects that looked like rats' and lizards' skeletons. Tori also noticed the skin of a snake, a drawing of Heath Ledger's Joker (that Tori believed that Jade herself had drawn) and jars with strange liquids with what looked like organs inside. Other than this bizzare collection of objects, Tori also saw more casual things in her girlfriend's room, like books, photos and CDs. Her bed had a black cover on with red marks resembling blood stains drawn on it (obviously Tori thought). In front of the bed there was a flat TV screen similar to the one that Tori had in her room, but bigger. Under the TV there was a laptop left open and a Playstation. Tori noticed a shelf near the Television with some DVDs and videogames. Tori could see The Scissoring, It, Psycho, The Exorcist, the entire collection of the Resident Evil movies and games, The house of the dead, a fake gun used for first person shooters videogames and some other horror themed movies and games that Tori had never heard about before. Tori saw some superheroes movies too like The Dark Knight and other action and thrillers movies in her girlfriend's collection on her desk.
"So, what do you think?" Jade asked her after a bit starting to light up some of the candles in her room creating a beautiful atmosphere for her girlfriend
Tori loved that as she replied smiling "I love your room!"
Jade raised an eyebrow at her "Really? You're not freaked out?"
Tori shook her head smiling "No, I think it's so unique. This is just the room a tough, strong girl like you should have!"
Jade smirked "Well thank you, this is the best compliment I've ever received for my room... Not to mention the only one" she said which made Tori laugh
"Oh please! I don't believe you"
"No, I'm serious... People usually just look around in my room freaked out by the things they see. Not that many people have been here anyway. No one comes in here without my permission" Jade replied.
Tori smiled "Wow, I feel so honored then. The great Jade West invited me in her room!" she said making Jade chuckle
"My pleasure. This is like my Batcave, you know? A special place where I can be myself with no one staring at me like I'm some kind of sicko"
"Well I never thought you were a 'sicko'" Tori told her
"Really?" Jade teased her
"Well not after I got to know you better" Tori replied
Jade laughed "Gee thanks"
Tori giggled "Just kidding... Seriously Jade, you're an amazing person" she said turning a bit pink on her cheeks
Jade smiled flattered looking at Tori "Thank you. You want to know a little secret?" Jade said getting closer to her girlfriend. Tori nodded staring at her blue-green eyes mesmerized "I want you in this room as much as possible from now on. I... like you Tori. I really do" the Goth said blushing lightly.
Tori's also flushed face looked very happy "Thank you Jade. I really like you too" she replied
"You're so pretty. So beautiful!" Jade said pulling Tori closer to hug her. Tori wrapped her arms around her neck and started kissing Jade on the lips. They made out for several minutes, kissing passionately but at the same time very tenderly without any hurry. Tori's hands were caressing Jade's face pushing her hair away to not let them get in the way of their kiss, while Jade was feeling up Tori's breasts thinking that they felt bigger than what she expected. Even from that simple touch, Jade knew that she would've have loved to play with her girlfriend's boobs but she was trying not to get too excited cause otherwise she knew she wouldn't have been able to stop herself from trying to undress Tori. She was actually half fearing of not being able to sleep in the same bed with her without trying to get in her undies, but once more she remembered her promise and decided that she would have let Tori do the first move if she was feeling ready.
So after they pulled apart Jade went to sit on the edge of her bed to remove her heels. After doing that she stood up and started searching for clothes in a nearby closet "Let me give you one of my PJs. We can go to sleep right away if you're tired or we can watch TV or play some videogames, if..."
But when Jade turned around the dark purple pajamas she had taken for Tori fell from her hands...
Standing in front of her there was Tori with her red dress at her feet. She was just in her black bra and panties, stockings and heels. She was looking at Jade, biting at her bottom lip in a seductive way.
"Jade... I'm ready" the Latina said.
