Darkness.
Why is that all I can see?
My head is dizzy..
I feel faint-ish.
Where am I?
Am I dead? Dreaming? Sleeping?
What's that sound?
You listened in, hearing the sounds of footsteps behind your figure, heavy ones at that. Your ears were ringing, but the annoying sound wasn't too bad to the point that you would scream in agony.
Am I dreaming?
I must be, right?
I still feel extremely dizzy..
You slightly jolted when hearing a low whisper hit your left ear. You couldn't make out what it said, but all you caught was the word "welcome."
What does that mean?
I surely am dreaming.
This is a dream!
I'm dreamingggg!
Wake up, [Y/n], wake up!
The footsteps faded somewhere's ahead of you possibly? You can't quite make out where everything is or going since it's so dark wherever you were.
Can someone turn on the lights please!
It was like someone heard your wish. Suddenly, a force pulled a sheet of black off of your eyes. You stood still, blinded for a moment, the world spinning and you just feel really dizzy.
"Wake up, princess~" a voice sang, a shiver going down your spine at the odd tone they used. It creeped you out.
You blink once, twice, trice, before finally opening your eyes fully to the light. You winced, the light still a little too strong for you. Who owns these lights?!
"Princess~" the same person sang again, their voice ringing in your ears as you looked around the... white room?
Where's that voice coming from?
Where the heck am I!?
Pinch yourself, maybe then I'll wake up?
You moved your hand to grab your other hand, only to realize you couldn't move them at all. With wide, confused eyes, you shifted your gaze from the blinding white walls to where you felt your hands were. You froze in place. Your right hand was strapped tightly in some sort of metal, your left one the same. What is going on here?!
Why am I strapped?
Am I on a chair?
Where is this place?!
Where'd the voice go?
Am I alone?
All.. alone..?
You flinched at the sound of footsteps again. This time they were directly behind where you sat. You froze again, this time in fear of making the wrong sound or move.
"Welcome, princess."
You turned your head only to be stuck with it staring straight at the white walls. Only at the white walls. Why can't you move your own head? Moving your eyes upwards towards the– sky? Ceiling? You don't even know where you are right now, but you now have a feeling your strapped in a chair, hands and possibly your feet hooked to the wooden piece of furniture, as well as your head made to stay in place by something behind it.
A man with styled black hair came into view, standing straight with his arms behind his back. He was wearing a white button-up lab coat for some odd reason. You raised an eyebrow at that.
Whatever is happening, you still feel like you're in a dream somehow.
I want out of here.
That guy is smiling weirdly at me.
Is this a nightmare then?
The man clad in a white lab coat approaches you slowly, every step making your hands shake. His intense gaze gave you goosebumps, shivers, and made you think of negative thoughts.
"Princess.. Hmm, what a perfect name for a perfect girl," he said softly, his voice deep and menacing.
You shook your head, struggling against the multiple restraints on your body. You wanted to scream out, but your mouth wouldn't open.
The tall male stepped closer to you, leaning down so he was at your level. "Awe, wanna say something before we get started, sweetie? Sure, you'll have all the time for that now, but later in screams." a intense burn surrounded your lips. You stared at the grey piece of tape he used to keep your mouth shut. You slightly widened your eyes. It hurt badly, why would he use that on you?
"What am I doing here?" you questioned, voice strong and demanding. "Where am I? Am I dreaming?"
"Ah.. You really know how to order people around, don't you, princess?" the man chuckled lowly, pulling out something from his pocket. "Have anything else to say? It's all meaningless in the end, trust me." he added, a bag of blood now in his hands. He smirked at your horrified look. "Why so scared? Shouldn't you beg and scream for something like this?"
The man waved the bag of crimson from side to side, taunting you, teasing you. But did you care? No. You're not some blood-thirsty vampire that hunts whenever it feels like it. You do it only to survive.
You struggled to set yourself free from the uncomfortable restraints. "Who are you! What do you want with me?!" you yelled in his face, only making him shake his head and chuckle to himself.
"Ah, ah, ah. A princess can't be mean, that's wrong, isn't it?" he smirked again, this time more evil-like. You growled at him, kicking your legs even if they weren't moving no matter what you did.
"That's ridiculous! Let me go!!" you demanded.
The black haired man sighed deeply, stepping away from you. "Hm, too bad." he then turned around and disappeared from your sight, probably going somewhere where you couldn't see him at all. Smart he is, smart and rude!
"Let me go!!" you screamed, moving around frantically even though you knew nothing would work. "Just let me go! Please!!"
Silence. All you heard was silence, nothingness. No one was talking, no one was moving, not a sound was created. You struggled more in the chair, the clean metal restraints shining your reflection back at you.
You look terrible.
You face is paler than before, your eyes are duller, and worse. You felt even more dizzy.
"Why won't you let me go!?" you screamed into the air. "I've done nothing wrong!" you pleaded, shaking in fear of all the things that could happen to you here, at this second.
A pained, high-pitched scream echoed throughout the white room, your body shaking and jolting from the unnatural electricity that shot up somewhere's from the chair. Your ears rang loudly, jolting a second time as electricity shot through your body again. And again, and again, again, again, again.
Your screams of pure agony didn't go unnoticed by the creepy dude from before. From the corner of your eye you noticed him standing there, smirking to himself at your state.
"It'll all be over soon, princess. Soon, you won't feel a thing, and the world will disappear before your very eyes.. Or, maybe you'll just submit to us and tell us everything about you; your special species, your powers.. everything. Maybe we won't have to use torture," he softly added by your ear, making you jump. The man only gazed down at your body, curiosity swirling in his dark, piercing eyes. You frowned.
Even though your body hurt everywhere, your mind was set on one thing. What does he want me to say? you thought, hiding your confused face behind a strong, intense glare as you wondered about what he meant before, about telling him everything. What does that even mean?
"Oh, sweetie, are you confused?" the dark-eyed male chuckled lowly from behind you, clutching onto your arms as he continued to speak. "We want to know everything about your kind. The royal-bloods. Boss wants to know everything; then maybe, just maybe, he'll spare your life. Now, sit tight and tell me everything you know. Refuse, and we'll gladly continue on with torture. It's your choice."
Torture? My body hurts everywhere thanks to you guys!
He wants to know about my kind?
Why?
What's so important about me?
"I-If," you coughed dryly, your throat hurting. "If I tell you, w-will you leave me a-alone?"
"Possibly, princess. Possibly." he nodded with a small smirk, leaning over your shoulder. "Let's start off with.." he paused, obviously pretending to think. "Oh! How about seeing how long you can last without a single drop of blood?"
"Wh-what?!" you blurted out, shaking in your seat. You looked around desperately; you wanted to find a way out, you wished someone can save your life.
Won't I die of starvation? That guy is truly insane!!
The man only smirked, creeping you out even more. Scaring you seemed to be his main task. "No blood for you~" he sang in a irritating tone. You just wanted to punch him in the face at this point, but you couldn't move at all.
"L-Let me go! Please!" you tried again. Pleading and asking to leave was useless in this situation, as all he wanted was you. But you're willing to try anything to get out of here, this place is really weird. You want to see your family and friends again..
"Now, let's start."
