I walked through Google's double doors in hopes to find my best friend Stuart.
Most people are surprised we hang out, considering I am fun, happy and joyful and Stuart is moody, boring and anti social, when in actually fact, when you get to know Stuart he is amazing. But I may just think that because I like him.
I went to school with Stuart and I always found him attractive, physical and in his personality. The other girls didn't though because he was a 'nerd' when in actual fact, he was just smart.
"Hey Y/N!" I get brought out of my thoughts when I hear a familiar voice call my name. I turn around and spot Stuart waving at me from the cafe I had passed on my way in.
"Hey" I said once I finally got there. I sat in front Stuart as he handed me a drink. "I got your favourite, Iced Mocha" He said with the smirk I will never get tired of. "Well thank you kind sir" I said in a fake British accent making Stuart laugh lightly which warmed my heart. "No problem, my fair maiden" Stuart said adding on to our fake British-ness.
After our chuckles died down we looked into each other's eyes and stayed there for a while. I started getting lost in his lovely hazel orbs.
Stuart let out a smile and I did the same as we carried on looking at each other. "Thanks Y/N" Stuart spoke up making me looked confused. "Thank you for what?" "For always being there for me and never letting me go. Thanks for being a great friend"
When Stuart said 'friend' it kinda broke my heart but I understood he would never look at me the way I look at him. "No problem Stuart, thank you for everything and being a great friend as well"
As I said that I saw a small flash of hurt go through Stuart's eyes making me wonder. But it left as soon as it came making me drop it.
I smiled again, happy to be in this moment with him. I was happy having him here and I never wanted him to go.
I maybe a great friend to him, but I love Stuart Twombly.
