We were on our way out of the cinema.
"That movie was awful", I laughed, while he took off his jacket to put it around my shoulders.
"I know, right? I'm sorry I forced you to watch it with me", he laughed.
"That's the reason I love you Kim Seokjin", I smiled sweetly.
"Because I force you to do things with me?", he asked confused.
"No. Because those awful things are still fun as long as you're with me", I said.
"You're disgusting", he laughed and kissed me on the head while putting his arm around my shoulders.
"I love you too", I laughed and leaned my head against his chest.
"Where did I park the car again?", Jin then asked and looked around, scanning the surrounding.
"Right there pabo", I laughed and pointed in the direction his car was standing.
"Oh, yes, right, I knew that", he grinned and we made our way to his car.
"You'd lose your head if you wouldn't have me", I laughed and he sighed
"You're probably right. But for now, shut up and get in the car, so I can finally kidnap you properly."
"Alright Sir, everything to fulfill your wishes", I laughed and got in the car.
He got in the car as well and just a few minutes later I found myself in the car with Jin, not knowing where he's driving to.
"Where are we?", I asked confused.
"Do you trust me?", he grinned mysteriously.
"Of course but-"
"We're taking the long way home today. That's all you need to know", he grinned.
I leaned back and soon he had to stop because of a red traffic light.
"I love you", he suddenly said, leaned over to my side and pressed his lips onto mine.
I grinned and kissed him back in surprise. Way too soon he pulled away and continued driving as the other cars started to honk at us.
"What was that for?", I asked and smiled.
"Just to remind you how special you are", he grinned and turned on the radio.
"That's your favorite song Jinnie", I squealed and looked at him.
Jin laughed, focused on the street and started singing.
He knew how much I loved his singing so I just sat in silence, staring at him and admiring his singing. In moments like this, it didn't feel like we were dating for almost three years, it always felt like the first two weeks, maximum.
And I loved moments like that. They always reminded me of how special Jin was and how lucky I was to be in a relationship with him.
My eyes were glued to him the whole time he was singing the song. As it ended, Jin had to stop again because of another traffic light. Grinning he leaned over and pressed his lips onto mine again.
I pulled away after a few seconds and asked: "Are you going to do that every time we need to stop?"
"Only if you want me to", he grinned childishly.
"How could I ever say no to you?", I laughed and we continued driving. The kissing process repeated every time he had to stop and I enjoyed it more each time.
After half an hour we drove on a small side road. Nothing seemed to be anywhere near and I had to trust Jin even more because if something would happen here, we would be completely lost.
But as expected everything was fine and he soon parked the car in the middle of nowhere.
"We're here", he smiled and looked at me.
I looked around confused and asked: "What do you mean? How can we be here? We're literally in the middle of nowhere."
"You said you trust me. So don't be a baby and come on. You won't regret it, I promise", he said and got out of the car.
I hesitated for a moment but then got out of the car as well.
The sky was pitch black and it was overall a scary atmosphere.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you from all the evil birds that live here", Jin said and put his arm around me as he noticed how scared I was.
"I hate you", I said and pouted, but pressed myself against him while walking anyways.
"Do you want to hear a scary story?", he grinned.
"Sure, if you want to die. Go ahead, tell me", I said and looked at him.
"Alright, no scary story for you. No need to be so grumpy", he laughed.
"How long do we still have to walk? My feet hurt", I complained.
"We're walking for 10 minutes now and you're tired already? You should work on your stamina", he grinned.
"Oh shut up", I laughed.
"We're almost there. Wait", he said and stopped suddenly.
I stopped as well and looked at him confused.
"What is it?", I asked.
"You still trust me?", he asked.
"Of course I do Jin, I'd trust you with my life", I said and he grinned.
"Perfect", he said, took out a blindfold and wrapped it around my head.
"What is that for?", I asked and immediately grabbed his arm.
"It's a surprise where I'm going to take you", he grinned, made a knot on the back of my head and put his arm around my shoulder again, pulling me close.
I grabbed onto his shirt and we walked the last few minutes to our destination.
"Alright, here we are", Jin suddenly said, stopped and took off my blindfold.
I squealed as I saw that he took me to the beach. I loved the beach, especially at night when the water reflected the moonlight. Hugging him tightly, I smiled happily.
"Thank you Jin", I mumbled against his chest.
"Only the best for my girl", he grinned and placed a soft kiss on my head. He then grabbed my hand and we were walking towards the water. We took our shoes off and walked into the water a few meters but just so far that our clothes wouldn't get wet.
We stood in the water and I looked up to Jin.
"Thank you for taking me here. You know, it really means a lot to me", I said and looked him in the eyes.
"I love you Y/N", he smiled. "I'd do anything for you. I just want to see you happy, that's all I need in life."
"How come I deserve someone like you? You're way too good for me", I said.
"Too good for you?", he laughed. "No one is nearly as good for you as he should be. You deserve the world."
He left me speechless and I just pressed my lips on his. Softly he kissed me back, placing one hand on my cheek and the other on my waist, pulling me closer to him. I felt like the luckiest girl alive at that moment and was more than happy to have him.
The kiss ended way too soon and we walked out of the water again. We sat down in the sand and I sat between his legs, my back facing him. He put his arms around me, placing his hands on my stomach and I leaned back against his chest.
He laid his head on top of mine and we stared at the ocean for a while in silence.
"It's beautiful", I smiled and was totally fascinated by it.
"Not nearly as beautiful as you", he smiled cheesily.
"Stop that", I immediately said and blushed.
I was relieved that he wasn't able to see it in the position we were sitting in but I knew that he was aware of my blushing. It happened every time, even after three years.
"Y/N?"
"Jin?"
"Will you promise me something?"
"Depends on what it is."
"Please, no matter what happens, never change who you are alright?"
"Why should I?", I asked confused and intertwined my fingers with his.
"I don't know. But I want you to promise me that you'll never change anyway."
"I promise."
"Good."
I smiled and loved how he always took care of me, no matter what. Even when he just told me to never change.
Some people think that when you're in a relationship with someone, you're head over heels in love with each other in the beginning, but the love gets less after some time.
But I never had the feeling that Jin and I fitted into that pattern. I loved him like in the beginning and he told me several times each day that he felt the same way.
I didn't know if we were a special couple or anything like that. The only thing I knew was, that I wanted to spend the rest of my days with the love of my life.
