🌼Thank you for the request @Hellokitty311009 !!!🌼

Glinda had seen fear in Elphaba's vibrant purple exactly four times. The first time was ages ago, but it felt like so much less.

They were both in college, Dear Old Shiz, where nothing really mattered as their days danced by. On this specific night everyone had gone to the Oz Doz ballroom, Elphaba had been invited as part of a cruel joke but both witches-in-training had danced the night away. They'd returned to their dorms after many hours of laughing, eating, talking with friends and in Glinda'a case, drinking.

The tipsy blonde had just finished parading all over the room, collecting various glittery pink clothing items to dress her roommate in. She giggled as she flopped onto the bed, Elphaba cautiously staring at her.

"Now! To talk to people you have to act like...not you!" She exclaimed, sitting up straight and laughing

"You have to be more...bubbly! Excited, like pretend you care even if you don't-like this"

Glinda laughed and tossed her hair, adding a cute little snort at the end of her laugh and a "No you're the best!". Elphaba stared at the blonde as if she'd just grown three heads.

"Yeah-no-"

"Just try it Elphie! Come on" Begged Glinda

The green girl groaned and rolled her eyes, sitting up straight and showing off her pointy cheekbones. She smiled painfully, revealing her slightly crooked teeth. She proceeded to laugh like a maniacal genius, snorting every few seconds to try and catch her breath. Glinda stared in horror, she'd never seen anyone fail at such a simple seduction move. And yet she somehow felt drawn to Elphaba, something in the back of her giddy mind wanted to get closer to the odd girl.

"I failed miserably didn't I?" Elphaba asked, looking at Glinda with a stoic expression

The blonde smiled wearily and giggled "Of course not Elphie! You just need a little glamming up-and I have the perfect accessory!"

Glinda beamed as she took out a glittery fake flower from her hair, smiling as she reached over to pin it to Elphaba's hair. She pushed back some of the black-green oily hair and pinned it in place with the flower. The light skinned girl noticed a small taint of pink on the green girl's skin.

Her blue eyes widened and she stared at the green girl in awe. The pink flower just seemed to light Elphaba up, it just suited her perfectly.

"Why Ms.Elphaba! Look at you" Glinda said in a hushed voice, getting her gold hand mirror and putting it in-front of the taller girl.

"You're beautiful" she whispered.

And that's the first time Glinda saw pure fear flash in the eyes of Elphaba. Her purple pupils gone small as she received the compliment. The tips of her ears turned a bright pink and she shot up from bed abruptly.

"I-I have to go" she murmured, not giving Glinda a chance to speak before she ran out of the room

"You're welcome" Glinda whispered looking at her own reflection and smiling at how pretty she was before giggling

"And though you protest, with disinterest I know from destiny-" she sang to no one in particular suddenly getting up determinedly.

"You're gonna grin and bare it! Your new found popularity! Ha!"

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

The second time was later, their senior at Dear Old Shiz. They were on a trip to the Emerald City on claims that Elphaba was going to see the Wizard. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz himself, and Glinda tagged along after Fiyero dumped her at the train station. The green girl had immediately offered for them both to go, so she squealed and laughed as the day went by. It was a day filled with emerald wonders and magic.

But it had all gone to shit.

Elphaba was practically glowing with joy when she saw she was able to make the wooden broom fly, smiling wickedly she ecstatically turned to Glinda. The fair skinned girl looked pale as she stared at the hopeful eyes of her best friend, her own lip quivering.

"Well-" Elphie started "Are you coming-?" She asked, gesturing to the broom

And Glinda hesitated.

Her own blue eyes locked with the taller girl's purple ones, purple ones filled with doubt and fear. Yet with a minuscule spark of passion.

"Oh Elphie! Look you're freezing!" Glinda exclaimed, taking Elphaba's hands into her own

In the rush of the adrenaline Elphaba hadn't noticed, she blushed as Glinda rubbed their hands together and blew on them.

"Here have my coat." Glinda said, taking off he black cloak and putting it over Elphaba's shoulder

"You-you do realize how dangerous this is Elphaba! This could be life changing, and I-"

"You're right." Elphaba said with a defeated sigh, her voice quivering

"Elphaba-"

"No I get it! This could cost you everything, your reputation, your scholarship, your future, Fiyero-everything!" The green girl snapped and Glinda took a step back

Yet as Elphaba shouted Glinda realized something. She didn't want any of that anymore. The thundering sound of guards echoed through the hallways, getting closer and closer to the two witches-in-training. Elphaba looked determinedly to the sky, a spark igniting in her eye.

"You better get going, if they catch you with me-" she started, preparing to fly

The green girl was ready to fly off into a great riff with smoke and fire the shorter girl grabbed onto her puffy black sleeve and dug her fingernails in.

"That doesn't matter." Glinda whispered, tears forming in her eyes as she looked up at Elphaba with a quivering smile

"Those things-they-they don't make me happy! Anymore! But you-!" Glinda giggles and cupped her hand around Elphaba's bony cheek

"You make my life worth living. You're the oddest but-Elphie you matter. And I don't know I'd do without you"

Before the green girl could respond the Ozian guards broke down the door. Glinda screeched and Elphaba smirked. The taller girl yanked Glinda's wrist and pulled her onto the broomstick

"Hold on!" She shouted and Glinda proceeded to wrap her arms tightly around her waist

In a blast of smoke, sparkles and a shrill shout from Glinda the two witches were thrust into the sky. Elphaba let out a cackle as they blasted upwards, stopping to look down at the guards

"So if you care to find us! Look to the western sky, as someone told me lately-EVERYONE DESERVES THE CHANCE TO FLY-!"

"Elphaba watch out for the roof!!" Glinda screeched, holding on tighter to Elphaba's waist

The green girl looked up and smirked, before shooting right through the hay roof.

"And nobody! In all of Oz! No wizard that there is or was! Is ever gonna bring m-" Elphaba started before taking Glinda's hand and putting them up together

"Us! DOOWN!"

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

The third time was years after the second time. Nearly seven years to be exact. Seven years spent in exile from Oz, seven years defending animals rights, seven years spent watching fro the sidelines as the city grew and lies were revealed.

And those seven years seemed to flash in Glinda's eyes as she stood at the end of the altar. Seven years spent bickering with Elphaba, loving Elphaba, caring to the point where Glinda didn't believe it was humanly possible for Elphaba. These seven years were nothing like her eighteen year old self had imagined them but they were some of the best years of her life.

Murmurs came from the small crowd of animals that had attended the ceremony, since Glinda's parents had disowned her after running off and Elphaba's father was dead. Nessarose, the Good Witch of the East and the ambassador of Munchkin, land would be directing the union of the two witches. Glinda had to force down a giggle when she remembered how happy she'd been when Nessa had agreed.

The murmurs were in honour of the other bride coming down the aisle, her black dress shimmering in the sunlight.

Glinda smiled as her soon-to-be-wife joined her at the end of the altar. "You're looking...seasick. As always" she remarked

"And you look like a pig in a dress" Elphaba snapped back, taking her fiancé's hands into her own

Glinda rolled her eyes and giggled as Nessa began the ceremony. She couldn't concentrate on the other witch's words, only the bright purple eyes of the green skinned woman in front of her. She barely registered when Elphaba said a faint

"I do"

"Do you Ms. Glinda Uplands of the Upperlands take Elphaba Thropp to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health, in poverty and wealth, till death do you part?" Nessa asked, turning to the light skinned witch and snapping her out of her trance

"I-" Glinda said, alongating the I sound

The crowd took in a collective breath, Glinda watched amusedly as Elphaba's eyes were struck with fear.

"Do!" She exclaimed, bouncing a little at the end

This caused the short woman to topple over right into her wife's arms, the crowd of animals sighing in relief an clapping. Glinda laughed and hugged Elphaba tightly "You didn't think I'd say no did you Elphie?"

"Citizens of Oz!" Cheered Nessarose as the two witches laughed

"By the power festered in me by the great wizard himself. I hereby proclaim that on this day at the thirteenth hour Glinda Upland of the Upperlands and Elphaba Thropp are now wife and wife!"

The crowd of animals stood up and began to cheer and clap wildly as the newlyweds stood up. Elphaba looked into Glinda's eyes before leaning in and kissing her, the blonde smiled and kissed back.

"Everyone welcome, The Wicked Witches of the West!"

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

"Elphaba, sweetie, I'm going to ask you one more time-" Glinda said slowly, inhaling sharply and clasping her hands

"What did you do with the Oz forsaken DOG?!"

Elphaba looked up from her spell book, one of the many flying monkeys Glinda and her had adopted perched on her shoulder.

"The dog-?" She asked curiously

"The girl from the tornado house you have in the cellar won't shut up about her stupid dog! Its name is Foto or something and she's not letting me sleep!" Glinda whined, coming over to her wife and peering over her shoulder

"You're not using him as a recipe or anything right?" The blonde asked, her adopted monkey-son perching himself onto her shoulder

"No! I'm not that heartless, I need to get those red shoes off of that girl and this spell might be the only way to do it" Elphaba explained

"And the dog-?" Glinda pryed, before there was a thump of something furry along her leg

She picked up a small black terrier, who immediately started to bite at her hands, and stared deadpan at Elphaba.

"He's good company!" The green woman retorted grabbing the dog "Plus he's...cute"

"Give it to the girl! It's not letting me get my beauty sleep!" Glinda protested, stomping her foot and making a bit of glitter puff out of her blonde hair

Elphaba giggled and took this opportunity to kiss Glinda's nose "But you always look beautiful"

"Don't try to get flirty with me Mrs.!" Glinda shrieked, making Elphaba burst out laughing

"Fifteen years. You've been my wife for fifteen years am I not allowed to call you beautiful?"

"Yes, but not when said wife is angry because of a Oz damned eleven year old!"

Glinda huffed and crossed her arms, making Elphaba laugh more. The shorter woman raised and eyebrow and smirked, quickly extending her hands and attacking her wife with tickles. The commotion they caused probably woke up all of Munchkin land but they didn't care. They'd been living on the outskirts of Oz in one of Glinda's family's many, many abandoned palaces.

"Okay I'll give her the dog! I'll give her the dog, just stop tickling me!" Elphaba laughed and gasped for air

"I love you" the green woman said, and for a second there was silence. Fear filled the silence on Elphaba's side

Before there was a small giggle from her wife who quickly pecked her lips. "I love you too" she said
