A few minutes later, a request for FaceTime popped up on Lauren's phone. Seeing as it was Camila, she quickly washed her face and then made herself comfortable on her desk.
She pressed okay and Camila flashed her a cute smile with a guitar sitting on her lap.
"Hello baby." Camila greeted with a toothy grin.
Lauren's head clouded over the endearment but she shook it off, "Hi." She sounded so breathless.
The brunnete nodded in reply, "I'm thinking of calling it 'Somebody To You'."
She began strumming her guitar and it was already upbeat, Camila opened her mouth and sang the song with a cheer.

"Mhm, I'm rethinking if I should give this to him. It's kinda personal now that I think about it."
The mischevious glint was back on the younger Latina's eyes, not even aware that Lauren could almost read her like a book now.
"Yeah, I'll hold unto this one." Camila chuckled, she went out of view for a moment and returned with a big worn out notebook.
"What's that?"
Camila didn't look up from her writing, "My song book. I write all my songs here, failures and leaked and all."
The call ended with a crash from the other side.
