"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Get up, get up!" I heard someone yelling my name. My eyes fluttered open and I was greeted by the gorgeous blue sky and a gorgeous boy.
"I knew you'd be here!" the boy said seeming more excited than normal. I giggled. "Of course I am, I'm always here between training sessions. Anyways, what's got you all excited?"
He grinned ear-to-ear as he spoke. "Kyojin decided to train with Jake, Hugo, and Rika! While it means more training time for them, but we get free time! Isn't that awesome?" the white-haired boy cheered. "Yeah, Rei, it really is awesome," I said while sitting up. I felt bad for them, but at this place, you need to fight for your own life.
I kept finding myself staring at him. He was a whole six years older than me! He had short, messy, pure white hair and pastel indigo eyes. He has lived here with Kyojin his whole life, but they weren't related. Rei's quirk makes him able to turn into any animal that he's touched as long as the species wasn't extinct when he had developed his quirk. He can also just have some of the features of the animal, like maybe a fox tail! Even though I found him handsome, I wasn't attracted to him.
"Hellooo? Earth to (Y/N)!" he said waving his hand in my face. "Uh...oh! Yes, Rei?" I responded. He pouted and sat in front of me. "You're so mean! It's like you don't ever listen to me!" he whined.
"I'm sorry! I just spaced out," I responded as he continued to pout. "As I was saying, I was wondering if you wanted to check out something I made!" he said in an excited tone. I smiled at him and nodded my head.
He grinned and grabbed my wrist. My eyes widened as he pulled me up onto my feet and ran off. "W-Wait, Rei! Where are we going?" I asked in a louder voice. "Don't worry, it's just over here in the trees!"
He ran into the forest of oak trees, still holding my wrist. "Look!" he said, still very excited. As he pulled me past some bushes and into the trees, I tripped on a stick causing me to stumble a bit. I was still weak from my recent training with Kyojin.
Once I had regained my balance, my eyes fell upon one tree. He had scraped drawings of planets and stars onto the trunk of the tree. In the middle was words that said,"Rei and (Y/N), best friends forever," in messy handwriting.
I smiled and felt tears sting my eyes. "Awe...Rei!" I said before wrapping my arms around him and pulling him in for a hug. "You're the best friend ever!" I cheered. He giggled and hugged my tiny body back. "Forever?" he asked. I smiled and responded,"Forever!"
My eyes fluttered open, I was greeted by a familiar beautiful blue sky . I groaned and rubbed my aching head.
A drop of water escaped my eyes. 'Tears?' I furrowed my brows in confusion. I sat up and saw Hawks was on the phone.
"You said it would help her! She ended up using too much energy and passing out! She would've died if I hadn't caught her in time!" he yelled into his phone. 'What? Who is he talking to?'
"Fine, but if the poor girl gets hurt, I'm out! Got it?" he growled. "Okay, bye!" he yelled in an agitated tone. He took his phone off his ear and angrily ended the call.
I tilted my head in curiosity. "Who was that?" I asked. He sighed and turned away. "No one. C'mon let's go patrol," he said walking away.
I nodded my head and followed him, but something was nagging at me. I turned around and looked at the familiar forest of oak trees. 'Odd...it's probably nothing.'
I turned back to Hawks and followed him. As we walked out of the field, we walked past a large, deteriorated wall. It was made of an odd black material. 'Something about this place...'
I shrugged it off and continued to follow Hawks.
Time skip
He and I stood on the roof of one of the tallest buildings in the city. My phone buzzed in my pocket.
Broccoli Boi has sent you their location
I furrowed my brows and unlocked my phone. "Hey, Hawks, someone just sent me their location with no message. I know it's kind of random, but I have a bad feeling about it.
"If you have a bad feeling about it, go ahead. I'll stay here and payroll. Contact me if there is something serious," Hawks responded turning to me. "Stay safe, Moxie," he said in a serious tone.
I nodded my head and stood at the edge of the building. "Air, follow my hands," I whispered. I jumped off the roof and created large, constant gusts of winds that kept me in the air. I used this to get to the location as soon as I could.
I saw a building was on fire and multiple huge monsters were running around. I took out my phone. 'The Hero Killer: Stain, he's probably still here in Hosu if he's following his regular patterns. What if...'

I looked back at Izuku's text. 'That's not too far from here, but it's in the back alleys of Hosu, the type of place Stain would attack.' I landed and ran towards the red dot on my screen. I was only a few feet away from the dot when the smell of blood filled my nose.
I ran and saw a man with a red bandana covering most of his face, Stain, his blade above Iida. I quickly faced my palm towards him and whispered,"Air, follow my lead!" I thrusted my palm towards him and a huge gust of wind sent the man flying backwards.
"Someone else to get in my way..." The man quickly stood up. "This day has been fully of distractions," the man said, gritting his teeth.
"Izu, you really should give more details next time. What if I didn't get the hint?" I said, feeling proud of my entrance. "You too, Bakugou?" Iida asked. "How'd you get here?" Izuku asked after Iida.
"How'd I get here? Your message was too cryptic and with what's been happening, I knew you wouldn't text me unless it was urgent, but next time I'd appreciate you sending more than a location. For how I got here, I flew!"
"Concrete walls," I whispered. Concrete walls formed around the pro-hero, Izuku, and Tenya. "Please excuse the walls, they're just a simple safety precaution," my tone was different than normal. It was cold, serious, and somewhat calming, similar to the tone of a certain dual-haired boy.
I held my phone in my hand. "Tell Hawks that I've encountered Stain with Izuku and Iida. Also, send him my location," I whispered under my breath. A great perk of my quirk is I can send instant texts.
I put my phone away and thrusted my hand towards Stain, making him fly backwards. He stopped himself with his blade, but we was obviously surprised. "You will not take anymore lives, Stain," I said in a serious and cold tone.
"(Y/N)! You cannot let that guy get your blood! I-I think he controls his enemies's actions by swallowing it. That's how he got us!" I furrowed my brows.
'That explains the blades. I need to play safe, I need the leg armor.' I got into a fighting stance. "Armored boots, form!" I said loud enough for the anklet to process my voice.
Armored boots formed, covering my calves, shins, and feet. 'I just need to keep my distance.' Suddenly, a dagger flew towards me. My eyes widened and my heart dropped. 'Dagger, evaporate.' Right on cue, the dagger evaporated like water.
"You have good friends, Ingenium." Stain jumped into the air. "Or you did!" His blade was about to hit me, but I could think faster than he was moving. 'Air shields!' Shields of rushing air blew around me, crushing his blade.
"Arm air shields," I whispered, controlling my energy usage. The air shields were just like huge, but light shields that were on my forearm.
"Wow, kid, you're really good," he said sounding genuinely impressed. He quickly swung his blades, but I blocked each swing. He jumped up and flew towards one of my concrete walls, where the pro-hero lied. "Unlike him!"
"NO!" I yelled, I wasn't fast enough to stop him. Just then, Izuku broke through the wall and flew towards Stain, crushing the pieces of wall in their path.
"Izu!" I yelled. "I'm not sure why, but I'm able to move now!" Izuku responded. I turned away and put down the walls around the pro-hero.
"Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes," the man replied, but he still looked like he was in pain. I took off his headband and ripped it so that it formed a strip of cloth. I wrapped it around the wound to apply pressure. "Stay safe," I said calmly, walked away from hero, and put the walls back up.
I walked through the hole in a wall, which was created by Izuku, that helped surround Iida. I saw some blood still flowing his shoulder. I quickly turned a rock into a cloth. I wrapped the cloth around iida's wound. "Stay safe," I said before waking back out through the hole.
I turned to look back at Izuku who had just fallen to the ground. Stain was about to stab him, I had to act fast. "IZU, DODGE!" I thrusted my right hand at Stain, making him fly backwards.
"He swallows a person's blood to freeze them, but I was the one freed first. I've got three different guesses why. His quirk could be less effective the more people he used it on. The amount ingested could play into how long it lasts. Or there could even be a difference based on a person's blood type," Izuku rambled.
"If it's the last one, my blood type is B," the pro-hero said in a weak tone. "I'm type A," Iida added. I glared at the villain who was jus standing at the other side of the alley, staring at us. "So you've figured it out. Bravo, very impressive," the evil-doer said with a creepy smile.
"I thought we'd be able to carry them out of here, but he's too fast. I can get him, but we wouldn't be able to get away with them in time. It would leave us vulnerable. We're all more likely to get out of here alive if we hold him until the pro-heroes to arrive and avoid close combat," I said avoiding Izuku's eyes. "No, (Y/N), it's dangerous and I fear you may be draining your energy," he responded in a worried tone. I furrowed my brows. "Izu, I need to fight, I need to protect them." He sighed in defeat. "Fine, but I'll distract him while you support me from behind, sound like a plan?" he said as he activated his quirk. Green electricity(?) zapped around his body, he had obviously learned a lot during the internship.
"Two against one, huh? This fight won't be easy," Stain said getting ready to jump into the air. Izuku bounced around on the walls, making his way to Stain. 'Maybe I can try out this new trick.'
I crouched down and touch the ground won't hand. "Concrete wave," I whispered. A large amount of huge spikes of concrete shot up into the air. I used my hand to direct the wave.
I made the wave chase after Stain when Izuku wasn't able to. It wasn't too bad until Stain did a 180 and changed his fighting style. He ended up cutting Izuku. I used my other hand to create another large concrete wave and used both of them to charge at Stain. "Izu!" I yelled as I stopped Stain from stabbing him.
"You have to run...I can't watch this,"Iida said holding back tears. "You wanna make your brother proud, don't you?! Then stand up and be Ingenium!" I yelled.
Izuku fell to the ground, Stain had gotten his blood. I used the waves and stopped him from hurting Izuku further. "Iida, you need to become the hero he wanted you to be!" I yelled over the loud sound of moving concrete.
Izuku would help me keep my guard up and remind me where to watch. I could hear him fine, I could still react, but I felt a little fire in my heart slowly fading away.
"You know, when you use your quirk so much, it makes you a bit of a careless fighter," Stain said while he charged at me with his blade. 'CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP! NO!' It was all happening to fast...it was all a blur. Iida got up and broke his blade, but I wasn't one-hundred percent sure how.
"You're free too?" I asked Iida. For a second, everything felt fine, until I looked down. He had cut through my skin where crop top had ended, around the stomach area. The cut didn't seem to deep, but I began to feel dizzy. "(Y/N)!" Izuku yelled, but I could hardly hear him. Black began to fill my senses, not black...blood. I hated it. 'Damn it, again? I'm so weak. Damn it, (Y/N).' Then, all at once, I lost consciousness.
