Sabrina's POV
Today is Sarah's big day! She's finally gonna get married and become Sarah Elizabeth Carpenter-Clark! I'm so happy for her! She's finally gonna start a new chapter in her life and I hope that everything goes well between them, they've never had any serious argument and they're definitely made for each other.
I couldn't fall asleep tonight because of the excitement. I look at the hour on my phone and notice that is gonna start in three hours. We're so late!
"Shawn! Wake up! It's the big day!" I shake him
"You just started your second month Sabrina, you're not about to have a baby" He groans
"Not the baby Shawn, the marriage!" His opens his eyes widely in shock
"We're already getting married?! Damn I must've slept too much then" I giggle
"Sarah's wedding you dork!" He sits up and rubs his eyes
"You're right, what time is it?" I give him a quick peck on the cheek and he smiles
"It's 7am" He yawns
"It starts in four hours!"
"I know! And we're already late! Come on! Time to get ready!" I get up and open the closet
"Did you have any sleep tonight?" I shake my head
"Nope, I was too excited"
"Sabrina..." He sighs
"I can't control it Shawn" I finally find the dress
"Are you feeling good at least?"
"I'm feeling great" I turn up to him
"You better start getting ready"
"After you eat your breakfast" I do a disgusted face
"But I don't like it"
"Well you'll have to eat it, think about the baby" I put my hand over my stomach and slightly smile
"Okay, but just for the baby!" He chuckles
"Whatever you say sweetie"
After my terrible breakfast I finally start getting ready by pulling off my shirt
"What?" I ask Shawn when I notice that he's looking at me with one of those sweet smiles.
"Nothing, it's just that now I can see your baby bump" He shrugs while replying to me and I look down, he's right.
"Isn't it kinda weird that it's already showing? I just started the second month"
"It probably means that our baby is growing strong and big. You know why? Because you follow your diet" I roll my eyes
"My awful diet? The one that I hate? The one that doesn't allow me to eat chocolate?" He nods
"Yup, that one" He smirks
"You know, now that you're talking about chocolate..." he walks to the kitchen
"Yeah?" I ask with a little bit of confusion. He then comes back with a chocolate bar in his hands.
"I've finally found a brand of chocolate that you can eat since it doesn't contain that much shit in it"
"What?!" I immediately take the bar and take a bite of it
"I've missed you so much baby" I say as I moan and he laughs
"You're adorable"
"I want 15 more bars" I say while taking another bite
"Okay calm down Sabrina, you can eat it, but not too much or-"
"Or it could hurt the baby, I know" I say with a little bit of annoyance in my voice
"Exactly" He walks up to me and gently touches my belly
"Do you think it's gonna be a boy or a girl?" He asks me
"I don't know, all I know is that this baby is really heavy" Shawn chuckles
"Seven more months" I sigh
"Yeah, five more months with back pain, headaches, nausea and a strict diet"
"It'll be worth it" I smile at him
"I know, I won't even remember this torture when I'll hold the baby for the first time"
"I can't wait for that moment to happen" He rests his forehead against mine
"Me neither" I kiss him
"We better start getting ready now or we'll be late" He groans in frustration
"It starts in three hours!"
"I don't care Mr. Mendes, I don't wanna be late"
"Okay then Miss Carpenter, I'll start getting ready!" I chuckle and finally manage to get dressed, put on makeup and brush my hair.
"How do I look?" Shawn asks me
"Just fix the tie and you'll be fine"
"Can you do it for me?" I slightly laugh
"Sure, come here" He comes up to me and I start fixing it
"You know I love you?" I look up at him
"And I love you too Shawn, you're one of the best people I know"
"You're the bravest, smartest, cutest, funniest and at the same time sexiest woman alive" I frown and blush
"Why are you complimenting me so much today?" He kisses my forehead
"Because sometimes you need a reminder to remember that you're the closest thing to perfection that exists in this world" I look down, trying to hide the fact that my face is fully red but he gently makes me look back up at him by cupping my face
"I will always love you"
"And I will always love you as well Shawn" I kiss his cheek and look at the hour on my phone
"But we better get going now, I'm the bridesmaid and I don't wanna be late!"
"Whatever you say boss" We get on the car and he drives to the location.
-time skips to the ceremony-
"Sarah Elizabeth Carpenter, will you have this man to be your husband; to live together with him in the covenant of marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful unto him as long as you both shall live?" I see my sister smiling, I wanna cry so hard right now, I'm so happy for her, she really deserves it.
"I will"
"Peyton Paul Clark, will you have this woman to be your wife; to live together with her in the covenant of marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful unto her as long as you both shall live? "
"I will" They look so happy oh my god this is so adorable!
They then exchange the rings
"Now that Sarah and Peyton have given themselves to each other by solemn vows, with the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of rings, I pronounce that they are husband and wife. Is my joy to present you to all gathered here as husband and wife" The celebrant turns to Peyton
"You may kiss the bride" I can see tears running down his face when he finally kisses my sister. They're definitely my OTP. We all clap for them and for their new milestone and they pull away
"You're married now!" I hug my sister
"I am! I can't believe it!"
"Me neither! I thought we were gonna live together till the day we died" She replies sarcastically
"Well thank you for believing in my relationship with Peyton" We both chuckle and I hug her tighter
"I'm so happy for you! How do you feel now that you're finally Miss Clark?" She laughs
"Please don't call me that" I decide to tease her
"Call you what? Miss Clark?" I wink at her
"You might become a mother soon but you're pretty immature"
"You're more childish than me Sarah!"
"That's not true!"
"Okay ladies, calm down" Peyton says as he walks up to us along with Shawn
"What's happening here?" Peyton hugs Sarah form behind and Shawn does the same with me
"Sarah said that I'm immature!"
"But that's true baby" I gasp
"And Sabrina said that I'm more childish than her!"
"That's also true baby" They both kiss our cheeks while Sarah and I stick out our tongues at each other
"Jokes aside guys, this is really a beautiful location" Shawn says while looking at the sea
"Yeah, we spent a lot of time finding the perfect place but we finally found it" We all watch the beautiful sunset for a short period of time until Sarah whispers something to Peyton and they both get up
"Well, we'll leave you guys alone-" I interrupt Peyton
"Why?"
"We just have some things to do now, we'll be back soon though" I frown, this is so strange
"Oh, uh, okay then, see you later I guess" They walk away and Shawn takes my hand
"Wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure, why not?" We cling our arms and walk along the seaside
"The sunset it's so beautiful, isn't it?"
"It is, but not as beautiful as you" I giggle
"When will you stop with all these compliments?" He looks down at me
"I will never stop Sabrina, in fact" He kneels down, what is happening?
"I would like to compliment you for the rest of our lives" Is he really doing what I'm thinking he's doing?
"Shawn I-"
"I know you're thinking that I'm doing this for the baby or something like that but I am not. I truly love you Sabrina: we've been in an on and off relationship for three years now" I keep looking at him in shock and disbelief
"And I don't want it to be off anymore, I wanna spend every single day of my life beside you, supporting you and loving you, I wanna be the person you will tell everything to without any fear of being judged. I don't wanna be your stupid boyfriend or best friend: I wanna be your husband" He takes a deep breath
"Sabrina AnnLynn Carpenter"He pulls out of his back pocket a ring.
"Will you marry me?"
"I-I" I wanna speak but the words are stuck in my mouth! Nothing is coming out!
He looks down
"It's okay Sab, I should've-" I kneel down, cup his face and kiss him. They say that an action speaks more than a thousand words so I did this, I kissed him to say yes since my stupid mouth decided to not work right in that moment
"Is that a yes?" Shawn asks me after we pull away and I nod
"Yes, I will marry you Shawn" He takes my hand and slides my ring finger inside the ring. We're both crying at this point.
"I love you Shawn and I always will" I rest my head on his shoulder as I hug him
"We're getting married then, huh?" He says through sobs and I kiss his cheek
"Yes we are" I can see with my watery eyes some figures walking, well, running towards us. As they get closer I notice that they're my family and friends
"What did she say?" Sarah asks and we get up, holding hands
"Well I'm right here but I can tell you that Sabrina said yes" I say while showing her the ring
"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you!" She hugs me
"Congrats man" Peyton shakes hands with Shawn
"Thank you Peyton"
"Shawn" My father walks by
"Yes sir?" He gulps and my dad smiles
"Welcome to the family" They hug.
"Awwwww" My mom, sisters and I say in unison. It was about time that they got along.
"I'm so happy for you Sab" Corey hugs me
"Thank you Cor" I hug him
"Things are not gonna change between us, right?" I ask him
"They will never change"
-a couple of hours later-
"I still can't believe it" We're lying on our bed. My right left arm is on his torso while he's gently caressing my hand. Today was a pretty emotional day: from my sister's wedding to Shawn's proposal, really intense day I would say.
"Well you should Sab, we're getting married" He looks at me
"This is a dream" He chuckles
"It is" He takes a deep breath
"For a moment I thought that you were about to say no" I slightly laugh
"Sorry but I had so many words to say that they remained trapped in my mind and couldn't get out of my mouth"
"It's fine, can you already imagine our wedding?" I look at his dreamy eyes
"My perfect wedding requires only two things: you're the most important one"
"And the other?"
"Chocolate cake, we can even have muffins"
"I thought that was already granted" We both laugh
"Hello future Miss Mendes" He smirks
"Hello future Mr Carpenter" I tease back and he kisses my head
"You're awesome"
"You're awesome as well, I would be lost without you Shawn, I would probably still be single and incomplete"
"Same for me baby"
"We already have to start the preparatives! The location-"
"Chill babygirl, we still have a lot of time, we should take our time"
"You're right, we just now have to relax and enjoy this moment"
"Exactly"
"...So where do you wanna go for our honeymoon?" He chuckles
"Sab!"
"Okay sorry" I kiss his chest
"I'm just really really excited"
"Well I'm very excited too but we should probably get some rest now, you have to film tomorrow"
"You're right" He smiles and turns off the lights
"Goodnight Sab" He gently spoons me
"Goodnight Shawn" I close my eyes but I just can't manage to fall asleep
"Where are we gonna get married? Our families are too-" He groans in frustration and starts humming a lullaby
"You're lucky I'm" I yawn
"Tired Mendes..." I close my eyes and finally fall asleep.

Shawn finally proposed!
It took me 5 hours to write this chapter because I wanted it to be perfect, I wanted to use the right words to emphasize more the emotions that out characters are feeling. Hope you liked it cause I didn't even study for a test that I have this Monday to write one of the most important chapters in this story ✌🏻❤️
Ps. This is now the longest chapter of this book since it contains 2313 words.
