Sam's P.O.V
I sat on the couch and flipped through the channels. "I'm so bored in this house."
Emma sat next to me. "Wanna know a secret?"
I looked at her. "What is the wonderful secret?"
She went in her pocket and pulled out my phone. I grabbed it and jumped in her lap. "I love you."
She hugged me and laughed. "Just don't tell Chris."
I rolled my eyes. "Like I was gonna tell him. Speaking of that weirdo, where is he."
"In his office. He had paperwork to do. He's been slacking." She said.
I typed into password and I had 50 miss calls from my parents. 20 text from Brad and 5 from random numbers.
I looked at Emma. "Their gonna kill me."
I recalled their number and my mom picked up straight away.
"Samantha why in the hell haven't you answered your phone."
"Mom. I'm sorry. I dropped my phone in the pool and it wouldn't turn on so I ordered a new one." I lied.
"Ok, and how does that apply to the house phone. Lilly said you haven't been home in days Sam. Where are you?"
"I'm with my friend Emma." I looks at her. "We are staying at her parents lake house."
"Oh honey you could of just called from their phone."
"Mom, I'm in the middle of the woods at a lake house. I have to go up the mountain to get signal. I'm lazy so....that wasn't happening."
"Can I speak to Emma?" I looked at her.
She looked at me and took the phone. "Hey, yeah sorry about basically kidnapping your daughter. She needed to get away from the house."
I rolled my eyes at her little joke. I looked up to see Chris standing there. I looked at Emma and she looked up.
"Yeah, ok, sure thing. Heres Sam." she handed me the phone.
"Hey mom, can I call you later. We are about to go jump in the lake and I don't want to get my new phone wet."
"Okay sweetie, I will talk to you later. Be safe and your father said hi."
I smiled. "ok mom. Tell dad I love him and miss him. You too."
"Bye Sammy."
"Bye mom."
I hung up and didn't even glance at Chris. I needed to call Brad. I called his number and he answered.
"Sam where in the hell are you?"
I smiled. "Well hi to you too Brad."
Chris jumped for the phone but Emma jumped in his way.
"Sam, where are you?"
"I'm at my friend Emma's house. Her lake house to be exact."
"And you didn't answer your phone why?"
"Brad, you know I'm clumsy. I dropped my phone in the pool. Had to order a new one."
"Sam. I miss you."
I pulled my legs up on the couch. I looked at Emma who was telling me hurry up with the phone call.
"I miss you too Brad."
I heard something like a growl come from Chris. I looked at him and his eyes where
Dark.
"Baby, when are you coming?"
I breathed. "I don't know Brad. But maybe soon."
"You want me to come get you?" he asked.
I closed my eyes. "No. I'm fine. My friend Chris is gonna take me home soon."
"Chris? Is that a guy. That better not be a guy. I swear if he touches you."
"Brad. Chris is sort of like my......I don't know what he is. He's my something."
"Do you have feelings for him?" He asked hurt.
"I don't know, maybe."
He was silent then spoke. "I love you Sam."
I looked at Chris who looked like he was angry and hurt at the same time. "I will talk to you later Brad."
I hung up and handed Chris the phone. "One of the most depressing phone calls I ever made in my life."
Chris looked at me in confusion. "You didn't say it back."
I looked at him. "Say what back?"
"I love you."
"I'm not that kind of person." I said and handed him the phone. "I will be....i don't know. I'm going for a walk to see dog friend."
I walked out the house and onto the porch. "Hey Sam."
I looked to see Kyle and Evan.
I went an sat between them. "Hey losers."
"Whats going on. You seem....not your escape self."
"I'm done with trying to run. If you kill me you kill me. I don't care anymore."
Evan looked at me. "You know what you need?"
I looked at him. "What."
"You need to get drunk."
I smiled. "Your so right."
Emma's P.O.V
"Chris you need to tell her before you lose her."
He rubbed his face. "You think I know that Emma. You try telling your mate, oh I'm now your werewolf boyfriend. She's gonna kill me."
"Or she might think its cool." I said standing up.
Evan and Kyle along with Sam walked in the house.
"We are going to get her drunk. So...later." Kyle said grabbing car keys.
I jumped up and down. "Sam we should go to this club. It's called Hybrid. I think you would love it."
She nodded. "I agree."
Chris went to go touch her but she moved. "Remember that challenge. No you touching." She looked at me. "I get to tease him. He can't touch me."
I smiled. "I get to dress you then."
I looked at Chris. "I'm gonna kill you."
"Can't kill someone who's already dead." I said walking in the kitchen.
"Your not dead though." He yelled.
"But you will be." I yelled back.
My phone rang and I answered it. "Hello, Emma the great speaking."
"My baby."
"Mom?"
"Emma, your father and I are coming tomorrow morning. Your aunt Kelly is getting married so the wedding will be held in that area."
"Mom, you do know you can't just pop up. And that man is not my father."
"Just because I wasn't your fathers original true mate. You are still me children. Except that Casey girl."
"Whatever mom. See you I guess tomorrow."
I hung up and walked to the living room. "Chris. Moms coming tomorrow morning. So I think everyone should get fucked up tonight."
"Mom called?"
I nodded. "Aunt Kelly is having a wedding. So they are coming."
"Fuck my life." Chris said sitting on the couch.

Sam's P.O.V
"Because your skinny and have a shape. Your gonna wear this black dress. With these red Pumps." Emma said putting everything together.
I already took my shower and everything. The dress I was wearing was black and came above mid thigh. It was open in the back in like a X shape. And red Pumps which made me taller.
"Now for the fun part."
I looked at her. "I look better with straight hair."
"Thanks for the tip." she said flattening it.
About 30 minutes later we were ready. My hair was straight and my makeup done to perfection. Emma was wearing a the same thing I was wearing except it was a red dress with black heels.
"You ready?" She said walking down the stairs.
"Hey Chris. Remember your not aloud to touch. Okay?" Emma said walking down first.
"I'm not gonna...."
I came into view and he stopped talking. He swallowed. "I promise nothing."
I laughed. "Then I will regret nothing."
We walked out the door and I looked down at the dirt. "I'm not getting my heels dirty."
"Let Chris hold you then." Emma said while walking down the steps.
I looked at him and he smiled at me. I rolled my eyes. "I will not give in."
I stepped down and walked to Chris's car. I opened the door. And got in. He got in and looked at me. "You do know your gonna give in."
He started the car up. "You do know you are gonna beg me."
We drove down the road. "Yeah sure ok."
I rolled my eyes. "It's gonna be a long night."
"You can hold my hand now or forever hold your......"
"Shut up. I'm not giving in." I said moving away from him.
We pulled up and we got out while the others got out the other car.
"Go stand in line." Chris said.
I looked at Emma and she looked at me. "See you inside boys."
We walked straight up to the bouncer. "So, What would it take for us to just get in?"
He looked us over. "You can just go in pretty faces."
He let us in and I waved at Chris. We walked in and it was huge. It was dark and red lights hanging from the ceiling.
First place I saw and wanted to go to was the bar.
"Come on. Let's get you drunk." Emma yelled over the music.
