(Y/N) is seen walking through the forest again, as Summer keeps on reappearing on (Y/N)'s side again. (Y/N) though, seems to be looking down instead of having a usual chat with Summer.

(Y/N): H-Huh? .... S-Sorry.... I-I was just thinking...
Summer: Is it about last night?
(Y/N): ....
Summer: (Y/N).... I...

The two then sees a man with a long ponytail running through Summer, with a tail leaking out some purple substance, while muttering:
???: (running past them) She'll forgive you.... She'll forgive you....
(Y/N) comes out of the bush and approaches Summer.
(Y/N): What the hell was that?
Summer: I can't believe he's here...
(Y/N): What? Who's here?
Summer: Tyrian Callows.
(Y/N): Okay.... Who's he?
Summer: He works for Salem.
(Y/N): So?
Summer: Salem, thinks you're dead. We need her to think that you are if you want to take her down.
???: You let him get away.
(Y/N) and Summer turns around and see the one who spoke...
(Y/N): Jeffrey...
Jeff: (Y/N)...
(Y/N): Heh... Am I dreaming? What happened to your psychopathic personality?

(4 Hours Earlier)
Tyrian comes out of the floating dust and grime inside the building, purple flickers moving across his body. As the two begin to strike again, Ruby jumps in between and deflects Tyrian's blades with Crescent Rose.
Jaune: Ruby!
Ren holds Jaune back from moving forward.
Tyrian: Do you wish to be taken?
Ruby: No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!
Both Qrow and Ruby move in to attack Tyrian and the three clash. His eyes purple again, Tyrian almost gets her with his stinger, but Qrow blocks it.
Qrow: Ruby! What did I say?! Get back!
Ruby: This is my fight, too!
She attacks Tyrian while he's still locked blade-to-blade with Qrow, but his legs arch away from the swing of Crescent Rose.
Qrow: No, it's not that. It's—
Ruby attacks again, and Tyrian moves to her. He flips and sends her back with a two-footed kick. She slides closer to the building and gains her ground, but the wooden beams near the roof have been shaken up too much and a heavy one breaks and descends upon her. Qrow slices it in half so it falls in pieces to either side of Ruby without touching her.
She smiles at him in gratitude and affection, and he raises his head from his stance to look at her, only to gasp in pain as he is immediately cut in the abdomen by Tyrian's stinger.
Tyrian chuckles while everyone but Ruby takes a beat from the unexpectedness of it.
A Black & White substance drops down between them, chopping of Tyrian's tail. It bounces, spurting purple liquid, to the ground. Tyrian reels back and cries out from the pain. Standing, he whirls to face them. Shocking them upon finding out who chopped it off....
Tyrian: YOU BITCH!
Ruby: Hey... I know you!
Qrow: Jeffrey...?
Tyrian: TRAITOR!
Jeff: Call me whatever you want....
Tyrian: Just you wait until Salem hears this! The we'll see what'll happen to your mute friend Cinder!
Ruby: Cinder?!
Jeff: Go ahead. See if I care. (slowly approaches Tyrian while playing with his knife) I'd rather die than to work with you lunatics.
Tyrian takes a few awkward steps, not engaging.
Tyrian: (to himself) She'll forgive you.
He runs away.
Jeff stops walking and looks at the ground as Ruby points her Crescent Rose to Jeff.
Ruby: (angry) You work with Cinder?!
Qrow: Ruby...
Ruby: First it was Penny.... then Pyrrha..... THEN (Y/N)!
Ren: Ruby, hold on for a second.
Ruby: Hold on?!
Jaune: (walks up to Jeff's face) What's your game here, Jeff? Why did you save us?
Jeff: ...... You wouldn't believe me even if I told you....
Jaune: Sadly, you're right.
After brief moment, Team RNJR starts attacking Jeff. While the other members are charging at him, Jeff blocks Jaune's sword with his knife, throws his knife at the building behind Ruby, causing it to collapse and slowly drop down on the six of them as Team RNJR grabs Qrow out of there.
The building crashes down. As the smoke clears up, Jeff is now nowhere to be seen.

(Y/N) is now back in the tavern in Higanbana, sitting at his spot last night, with Summer standing beside him, and with Jeff sitting in front of him as they both drink their glass of liquor.
(Y/N): So let me get this straight: You and I live at the same world, you found Alex's portal, decided to get inside and their you met Cinder?
Jeff: Yeah...
(Y/N): And this isn't your true face...
Jeff: Technically, yes...
(Y/N): So Cinder decided to bring back your old face, that was fixed by Salem, and you believe that whatever Salem did, also fixed you, mentally.
Jeff: Yeah...
(Y/N): (slams his glass down) This sounds a like a butt-load of bullshit!
Jeff looks at (Y/N)'s glass then to his, looking at his own "true" appearance through it.
Jeff: .... Think what you want.
(Y/N) snaps then pulls Jeff towards him, with (Y/N)'s angry and determined look and Jeff's straight face.
(Y/N): "Think what I want?" You come here...... Started to work for Salem..... Destroyed Beacon.... And then all of a sudden you had a change of heart?!
Jeff: ..... I don't expect you to forgive me....
(Y/N): Tch...

Outside the tavern, Jeff is seen flying throughout the door, then lands on the ground face first, not getting back up. (Y/N) is walking towards the face-planted Jeff, grabs his hair, and lifts Jeff up so that he could see his face.
(Y/N): You guys.... Already, killed one of my friends... To think you have the guts to show your face at me!
Jeff: .... I don't blame you...
(Y/N): WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?
Everyone in Higanbana turns their attention to them as Jeff's voice begin to break, answering (Y/N)'s question.
Jeff: I.....
Jeff:
(Y/N): ...!
Jeff: I just want my brother back....
(Y/N)'s angry expression turned into a look of disbelief. (Y/N) lets go of Jeff's hair as Jeff curls himself up, crying. Summer appears beside (Y/N).
Summer: (Y/N)... I think he's serious.
(Y/N): ...
Summer: (Y/N)?
(Y/N): Tch.... I don't even fucking know anymore...
Jeff: (wipes his tears) I know where your friends are...
(Y/N): Do you now?
Jeff: They're in the next town over. (stands up) Look, you have every right to be angry at me..... And I'm not gonna force you to believe me.... But I want to help you..... Help Beacon..... I want to make things right, (Y/N).... I don't wanna go back to this psychopathic monster that I was....
(Y/N): Whatever... (walks away) Do whatever you want...
Jeff: ..... At least let me come with you!
(Y/N) stops walking and after a brief moment, he speaks but didn't turn to look at Jeff.
(Y/N): I said "do whatever you want" didn't I?

Meanwhile. Cinder is in a large, empty room. Behind her is a darkened arched hallway. On either side of the arch, the walls of the room have a low ledge the bear several burning white candles. Four Beowolves approach Cinder, moving in a semicircle formation. Cinder swings her left arm at them, sending another slash of fire. It cuts through the middle of all four Grimm and they disintegrate away.
Cinder pants again, still upright yet taking a breather. She does not get long, as heavy footsteps approach from her left. She gasps and looks in their direction. A Beringel leaps into the air, ready to deliver a blow to her with its fist. Cinder, however, pulls back her right arm and pushes a ball of flame right at it. It, too, disintegrates.
As its body disappears, Cinder falls to her knees, breathing heavily.
Salem: Enough.
Salem walks forward while Cinder continues to struggle for normal breathing.
Salem: I thought you were the girl who wanted power. Did you lie to me?
Cinder winces on the force of Salem's question before looking upward. Turning to face Salem, Cinder clearly shakes her head in the negative.
Salem: Then stop holding back. If you wish to master your new powers, you must -
Salem is cut off by the sound of heavy doors opening. On the opposite end of the stone hall, a sobbing Tyrian Callows enters. He falls to his knees once in the room, both hands flat on the floor and his head bowed.
Tyrian: (softly) I'm sorry. (raising his hand to his chin) She'll forgive me. Pleeeease.
Tyrian bows again on the last word.
Tyrian: Forgive me...
Salem: Tyrian!
She stands before him. He raises his body but remains sitting on his legs while Cinder rises from the stone floor behind Salem.
Salem: (holding out her arm imperially) Your task - were you successful?
Tyrian: (bowing his head) N-no. Jeffrey Woods stopped me.
Salem: Hmm....
Cinder's eye widens upon hearing the name. Salem also looks surprised for a moment before narrowing her eyes and walking away. Cinder watches their leader for her further reaction without looking at Tyrian.
Tyrian: (begging and turning his body to remain facing Salem) But-but hope is not lost! My tail, my stinger... I-I poisoned him, Qrow! He will not be a nuisance to you any longer, no... no longer! I've done that... have I done well? Have I pleased you?
Salem: The last eye is blinded... you disappoint me.

Salem sits down on her chair in the meeting room. The Seer Grimm glides towards Salem slowly. Once the Seer Grimm reaches her side, she leans closer to it. After a moment, she puts her hands together.
Salem: Looks like your "friend" betrayed me.... Do what you must...

(Y/N) and Jeff are walking ten feet away from each other in the forest. (Y/N), not even bothering to look back at Jeff or at Summer, who is now walking beside him and not reappearing. Jeff on the other hand is following (Y/N) while listening to some tunes in his mp3 player and looking on the ground.
Summer: (Y/N)...
(Y/N): He's planning something.
Summer: (Y/N)...
(Y/N): What other reason would he be doing this? He's a psycho!
Summer: (Y/N), I think he's being serious...
(Y/N): You think! Don't be deceived Summer, he's obviously waiting for to trust him, so he could have the first strike.
Summer: How would you know?!
(Y/N): He's a psychopath! A Killer! And he works for Cinder! For Salem!

Jeff: This is where they were.
(Y/N) turns to Jeff.
Jeff: I found them over there near the fountain. They were fighting a guy with a scorpion tail.
(Y/N): Tyrian Callows?
Jeff: You know him?
(Y/N): Sort of.
Jeff and (Y/N) walks towards the fountain, beside each other.
Jeff: Tyrian is one Salem's little favorites. Only this one seems to be very attached to her.
(Y/N): Who were here?
Jeff: Your friend Ruby, Jaune, Nora, Ren and Qrow.... Tyrian is strong, almost killed Qrow with his stinger.
(Y/N): Stinger? .... You mean?
Jeff: Yeah... The one bleeding from his tail.
(Y/N) and Jeff stops at the fountain as Jeff points out the purple substances next to the collapsed building.
Jeff: Over there. That's where I dropped in and chopped Tyrian's stinger off..... I didn't manage to chop him before Qrow got stung though.
(Y/N): Where are they now?
Jeff: Probably out there. Somewhere. Trying to get to Mistral....
(Y/N): What are their reactions when they saw you?
Jeff: First they were curious about me. The rest..... You probably already know... *sighs* I don't blame them.... The things I did back in Beacon...
(Y/N): ....

Nighttime. (Y/N) and Jeff are sleeping next to the fountain where they decide to burn the logs of the building to make a fire. Jeff is leaning against the fountain listening to his mp3 player again.
(Y/N): Sleeping outside again....
Jeff: ....
(Y/N) and Jeff sits down on their futon and face each other, between the fire.
(Y/N): So why did you decide to help me?
Jeff: .... Like I said.... I want to make things right... I regretted doing everything that I have done.... Not just the things I did in this world.... But also back there...
(Y/N): Who were back then?
Jeff: You clearly don't watch the news that often. Do you?
(Y/N): ....
Jeff: *sighs* My name is Jeffrey Alan Woods..... I killed my brother....
(Y/N): (surprised) Jeff The Killer?!
Jeff: I thought you already knew... Knowing that you've seen my "true" face.

Jeff: (sighs and pulls out his earbuds and mp3 player) Wanna know more?
Jeff throws his mp3 player and his earbuds at (Y/N). (Y/N) manages to catch the two as he looks back at Jeff.
(Y/N): What is it?
Jeff: ..... I was trying to keep it for myself.... Now.... (lies down the futon and faces away) Now I don't think it's important.... You'll find how fucking pathetic and horrifying I was...
After a brief moment puts on the earbuds and opens the mp3 player seeing that their are only two songs in the playlist.
