Hikaru eyed Chris and her brother carefully, she had been ignoring Yoichi this morning. He kept trying to figure out why Miyuki was avoiding Hikaru and if they had to talk make him laugh. However, Hikaru didn’t have time for that….she had a gut feeling something was going to happen to her twin. Hikaru walked over to Ryosuke, Yuki, Jun, and Masuko to get in line to hit. It was then she decided to ask her question.
“Ne, Ryouske-Senpai, Jun-Senpai, Masuko-nii, Captain Yuki I have a question.”Hikaru said
Jun, Yuki, Ryosuke, and Masuko looked at the boy.
“What is it Sawamura number two?”Jun asked
Hikaru felt aggregated, but ignored it and asked:
“Is there a chance for Chris-Senpai to play again?”
The group of third years looked at the first year.
“Why would you ask that?”Ryosuke asked
“It’s not like I hate Kazuya-“Hikaru start but soon they heard Miyuki laugh “Okay scratch that I wish Kazuya couldn’t talk…but I think Chris-Senpai would be a good member of the your team.”
Ryosuke, Yuki, Jun, and Masuko looked at each other then at Hikaru.
“What are you saying your team, idiot.”A voice said
About that time Hikaru was kicked in the back. Hikaru stood up and rubbed his back.
“Ow Yoichi.”Hikaru said
“You’re apart of our team Hikaru. Rather we like it or not.”Tanba said walking over
“But, we do like you more than we do your brother.”Miyuki replied walking over
“Your brother is annoying.”Jun said simply
Hikaru laughed nervously….
“Yeah, my brother can be annoying….but he really loves baseball…even if he doesn’t really understand it….but, let’s think of it this way…my brother is a complete newbie with a hidden talent….is it not up to us to raise him in the right way to do things….we can’t leave it all up to Chris-Senpai.”Hikaru replied
About that time Hikaru was kicked again.
“WHY IS IT CHRIS-SENPAI!? WHY DO YOU ONLY CALL ME YOICHI!?”Kuramochi shouted
Hikaru stood up and dusted off his uniform then said:
“nareulsallyeojwo S.O.S (Save me S.O.S)”
“WHAT THE HECK DID YOU SAY?”Jun shouted
“Oh Captain Yuki, did you hear the news?”Hikaru asked
“What news?”Yuki asked
“We took a test the other day in class and Kazuya and Yoichi scored the lowest bringing our class average down.”Hikaru replied
“Kazuya, Yoichi didn’t I tell you two to study more?”Yuki asked the two.
‘DIE HIKARU!!!!!’Kazuya and Yoichi thought

Hikaru was outside on the field with her brother. Hikaru was practicing her swings while Eijun was throwing a ball against a wall.
“Hikaru why won’t you let me throw to you?!”Eijun asked
“Shut up and keep throwing to the wall. I don’t want to see muliiple marks where the ball hit I want to see one mark.”Hikaru replied
“Hikaru you’re evil.”Eijun cried
“You want the ace number suck it up!”
The two went back to practice, while swinging Hikaru took a look at her brother. She noticed he was breathing heavy.
‘Idiot don’t overdo it.’ Hikaru thought
“Ten more.”Eijun said then whipped his sweat.
“Your form is going wild.”A familiar voice said
The two stopped what they were doing.
“Your body is opening because you’re trying to throw fast.” the familiar voice said
Hikaru and Eijun looked to see their coach.
“Crap Shades!”Eijun said
“HM?”Coach asked
“Coach are you out for a nightly jog?”Hikaru asked
Coach nodded. Then Hikaru felt something move down quickly beside her. She looked to see her brother kneeling down in front of coach.
“I mean, Good evening. Sir Head Coach.”
Hikaru felt herself sweat drop…
‘Hey Hey, I stood up for you today…don’t be an idiot and make them doubt what I said!’Hikaru thought
“What time do you two think it is?”Coach asked the two “The two of you will only hurt yourselves by practicing recklessly. Didn’t Chris and the others tell you that the key is building the foundation?”
Hikaru felt the air about her brother change….
‘He really looks up to Chris-Senpai now…’Hikaru thought
“True there has been may pitcher who gave up because they couldn’t understand what Chris wanted, but his method of prioritizing physical strength, and he learned through bitter experience is by no mean wrong. If you can’t listen to your catcher any further…I’ll have to split you two apart.”
Hikaru noticed Eijun shaking. Then she noticed the coach turn onto her.
“Hikaru, I know you want to get better…but having swinging extra swings like you are will only cause your shoulders and arms to become weak resulting in injury. If you can’t listen to my words I’ll drop you from first string.”Coach said to Hikaru
Before Hikaru could reply Eijun said:
“From the moment we met, he communicated with me as a catcher. ‘hone your moving fastball.’ ‘be patient.’ But….At this rate I won’t be able to repay my debt. I don’t know what I can do in just a few months, but before he graduates, I want to show him the fruit of my training.”
Hikaru and Coach smirked.
‘Idiot…you have grown up some…’Hikaru thought
“Either way, you shouldn’t overwork yourself by throwing recklessly.” Coach said then reach to his neck and pulled off his towel “ If you’re going to train by yourself, you should do towel drills. Get this, no matter how strong you throw, you can’t throw fast. What is important is your glove hand.”
Eijun was shocked by this.
“Watch.”Coach said
With this Hikaru and Eijun watched their coach closely.
“It’s about how well you transfer all your strength to your fingertips. As a southpaw, you must create a will with your right arm. Your right leg supports your body as you sift your weight. Your right hand creates the wall that stores all that power. Like shooting an arrow, you hold that pull for as long as you can. With all your energy being transfer from your lower body, you swing it down in an instant.” Coach said as he demonstrated it.
As coach swung the towel down Hikaru and Eijun felt a breeze blow by them. Coach then turned to Eijun and handed him the towel.
“You try it.”Coach said
Eijun took the towel and stared at it for a while. However, when Eijun finally did it he hit coach.
‘Impossible! How is that even possible!!’Hikaru thought
“I’m sorry! It was an accident!”Eijun cried “It wasn’t on purpose.”
Coach let Eijun off then turned to Hikaru and said:
“Hikaru your eyes for batting is good, but from watching you in practice I notice you wont hit certain pitches…even though you have the power…”
Hikaru was amazed,
‘He realized that just from watching me?’Hikaru asked herself
“Let me see your bat.”Coach said
Hikaru handed Coach the bat then backed by Eijun. Hikaru was amazed when Coach pulled his body and the bat close together making it seem like they were one, then swung with a tremendous amount of power.
‘Wow.’ Hikaru thought
“It’s time for you to break out of the style of batting you had in middle school and create a new style, an unbeatable style.” Coach said
With this the Sawamura twins felt something light inside of them, and they became more serious about practicing.

The next morning Hikari and the other regulars were practicing like crazy. Hikari was working on swinging with Masuko, but Jun and ended up pulling Hikaru to work on outfeilding. However, Hikaru’s train of thought was broken by three people on the second string.
‘They’re loud today.’ Hikaru thought
It was then she glanced at her brother. She saw him talking to Chris kindly..
‘Maybe they finally will start getting along.’ Hikaru thought

That night Hikaru decided to take Coach’s advice and take a break to rest her shoulder. So instead of outside practicing with her brother she was sitting on her bed listing to her beats and reading a Sherlock Holmes book. Shinichi and Taichi ran in at that moment.
“Hikaru we have been looking all over for you!”Shinichi cried
“KOHAI I WAS SO WORRIED!”Taichi cried trying to jump on Hikaru.
(Kohai younger classmen)
Hikaru closed her book and hit Taichi in the head.
“OW!”Taichi cried
Shinichi laughed.
“So whats the big news?”Hikaru asked
“Oh right check this out!”Shinichi said
“Check what out?”Hikaru asked
They handed Hikaru a package.
“It’s for you…It’s from a Tetsumi.”Taichi said
Hikaru smiled and opened the package. She pulled out a new set of beats, some new shorts, a new hoddie with jaws on it, some new cds, and a new pair of cleats.
“Who is Tetsumi?”Shinichi asked
“A good friend.”Hikaru replied

The next day at practice Hikaru was walking with the other regulars when she felt a cold chill in the air. Hikaru looked around, Yoichi and Kazuya who were walking beside the younger Sawamura looked at Hikaru weirdly.
“What’s wrong with you?”Yoichi asked
“I have a feeling like something big is going to happen today.”Hikaru replied
However, Furuya walked up beside Hikaru.
“I want to play a game.”Furuya said to Hikaru
Yoichi heard and laughed then said:
“I wonder what comical thing he’s going to do today?”Yoichi asked “Depending on how he plays, he’s not gonna get a chance for another year.”
“And I wonder what you made on your English test today.”Hikaru replied “I don’t think your grade can take another twenty.”
That sent a cold look from Captain Yuki to Kuramochi.
“DIE HIKARU!”Kuramochi shouted
Hikaru was about to laugh, but stopped when she noticed a certain catcher with a serious expression.
‘Is he worried about Chris-Senpai and brother?’Hikaru thought
However, something told her to look at her twin….when she did she saw him resale one of his new fast balls…..
‘Amazing, brother…..I want to watch this game….’Hikaru thought
Hikaru snuck away from the regulars and climbed up in a tree. She placed her bag in the branch above her. Then she fixed her beats on her ear and turned on Dangerous by SHINee….
‘This is going to be a good game….brother is starting pitcher….if only I was batting with him…. I miss that..’Hikaru thought
