Your POV:
"Shawn just take the medicine" I say getting irritated. "No I don't need it" he says turning over. "You are sick, if you want to get better then take this" I say. "No I don't need it" he says again. "Whatever" I say slamming the medicine bottle down on the nightstand and walk out of the room. After about 5 minutes of calming down I decide to try again. As soon as I walk into the room I see Shawn fast asleep. I look over and see that the medicine bottle is still untouched. I roll my eyes. "Shawn Baby, I need you to wake up" I say shaking him. "Hmmm" he groans turning away from me. "Shawn get up" I say. "Why" he whines. "Because you didn't take your medicine" I say. "I don't want to" he says. "Well you're going to. Get up right now" I say sternly. He groans and sits up. "If I take the medicine can you make me some soup and then cuddle with me" he asks. "Yes I will" I smile, nodding. "Ok" he says shrugging. I grab the pill bottle and pour two pills into his hand and give him his water. After he has taken them I go downstairs to make chicken and noodle soup. As soon as it's finished I take it up to Shawn and hand it to him. "Can you feed me" he says in a baby voice with puppy dog eyes. "Fine" I groan grabbing the spoon. After he's done with the soup I put everything on the nightstand and cuddle into him. "I love you baby" he says tiredly. "I love you too Shawn" I say. "Get some rest" he says chuckling. "Right back at you" I say smiling. I drift to sleep listening to the sound of his steady breathing and the
sound of his beating heart.
