"Why on earth would you do that?" the questioned escaped my lips in an alarming whisper. "You...hate me."
"I hate you even more for being so weak," he grunted, getting off me and falling onto the blood stained ground. His shoulder was sprouting out blood and his expression was pained and agony.
I should be offended that he called me weak, however all my feelings just drifted away like smoke. He saved me is all I really cared about right now. Why would he do that? "Stupid girl," he mumbled in a daze.
"David, the only one stupid here is that salty one who shot you," I pointed a thumb behind me at Aaron who stood there shocked.
"Agreed," David strained a chuckle.
He chuckled.
Like a normal guy would.
His grinning face, in some strange way...it's kinda adorable.
"Aren't you suppose to be dying?" Bryce interrupted.
Everyone stared at him like he's utterly idiotic, which he is. The bullet only grazed his shoulder. Yes, there is blood but not as much that he could die by it. Aaron's intention wasn't to kill me, it's to scare me so I wouldn't leave. He intended to shoot the bullet over my head but because David got in the way, he got shot in the shoulder because how darn tall he is. "I guess I should thank you so...t-t-t-th-t-th-th-t-tha-"
"Hmph no need, I was only passing by."
You were passing by when someone is trying to shoot someone...? --.--
"David," Aaron said in a serious tone. They glared at each other for some time then sighed.
"Still, I cannot let her go. West! Isaiah! Carter!"
The three men that Aaron called ran up to us. Tall, muscular, wearing proper suits, aiming their guns at us. "Shoot them if they resist," Aaron grinned at us.
"Yes boss."
We were completely surrounded. We're out numbered, helpless. Gleeful smiles were plastered on their faces. Aaron seemed like he enjoyed every bit of it. His smile was dark, poisonous, evil. I glared at all of them through narrowed eyes. There's nothing we can do, they've won, we've lost. Now we're all captured.
Father why would you let them come alone? Now we're all hostages for their wicked plans.
There's this thing called a sneak in attack, or maybe help me escape without anyone detecting, why couldn't they do that? Instead they challenged them head on and totally blowed their cover.
Xavier gave me a reassuring smile. He's got a plan! But then why isn't he resisting? Oh right... Guns. "Don't worry, we just have to stay here a little longer in order for this one to work," he whispered quietly into my ear. "Trust me on this."
"Alright."
He's got a plan to escape. Xavier always finds a way.
I'll just have to deal with this hellhole a little longer.
I'll get out of here soon.
And once again...
That is how I got trapped in a sheep pen surrounded by wolves once again.
So much for a rescue mission.
