Happyyy readingg :)

And ignore the mistakes!!

Neha's (Hafsa's mom) POV:

(Flashback)

Hafsa had told all that had happened with Huda and she seemed really tensed and concerned. I could see her really upset when she told me back then in America. I decided to do something for Huda and I already knew her address but what excuse do I make for meeting them. I thought harder but couldn't come up with something.

"Kya hua? Sab khairyat?" Basith came and sat next to me on the sofa in our room.

"Nahi, Basith. Mera dil kar raha hai keh main Huda ke maa baap se milun aur unko kisi bahaane America aane ko manaa lun." I told him and he nodded.

"Yeh toh bohot mushkil ho jayega. Agar phans gaye toh?" He asked and I nodded.

"Nahi phanste. Hum maa baap hain, Hafsa aur Huda thori. Hum jaa ke milenge unse Huda ko kuch dene ke bahaane. Us bachi ki zindagi ka sawal hai, Basith. Woh itni acchi larki hai, she doesn't deserve all of this. Humain usse is shadi ke maamle se nikaalna hoga." I told him and he frowned at me.

"Magar hum kisi aur ke personal maamlon mein kese paren, Neha? Kya ho gya hai tumhain?" He said calmly and I sighed.

"Hum kisi tarah baaton mein unko convince kar sakte hain keh America mein unko sb mil jayega. Hum ek dam nahi baaton mein hi bol denge. Basith, hamein jana hoga warna jis bachi ne meri Hafsa ka har mord pe saath dia, uskki zindagi kharaab ho jayegi. Usne Hafsa ka har baar saath dia, hamein bhi uski madad karni hogi." I looked directly in his eyes and he nodded, thinking for a while.

"Theek hai, hum abhi chalte hain," He agreed and I looked at him, a tear escaped my eye. He shook his head softly and placed a kiss on my forehead.

We got up, got ready and instantly left for Huda's home. We got some gift for Huda which we would say we came to deliver and was sent by Hafsa. It was a Watch. That was all I could get in a hurry.

I stood in front of the door and looked at Basith who nodded his head reassuringly. I moved my hand and rang the bell, waiting for someone to open the door. I saw a pathan, most probably their gatekeeper, looking at us with a questioning look.

"Jee, aap kis se milna pasand karega?" He spoke in his typical accent.

"Hamain Ameen Sahab aur unki Family se milna hai." I said and he nodded, letting us in.

I walked inside and met Sameena, Huda's mom. Ameen bhai came forward too and Basith met him. We all sat down in their drawing room.

"Aap log Pakistan kab aaye? Hamain pata bhi nahi chala." Sameena complained and I smiled.

"Nahi, bas achanak hi plan bana, kisi ko batane ka mauqa hi nahi mila." I reasoned and she nodded. "Wese Huda se mil sakti hoon main? Hafsa ne yeh dia hai, bas wahi dena hai."

"Jee, main usko bula leti hoon, woh apne kamre mein leti hai." She stood up and I shook my head, stopping her.

"Main uske kamre mein hi chali jaati hoon, aap log tab tak baatein karen." I smiled and she nodded, leading me to Huda's room.

I knocked and Huda looked at me. I embraced her into a hug and saw a tear escape from her eyes. I quickly wiped it away and she shut the door behind me.

"Aunty, aap yahan kese?" She asked, pretty much in shock.

"Hum tumse milne aaye hain, yeh dene ke bahaane. Hafsa ko is baare mein mat batana. Hum tumhain America le jaane aaye hain." I smiled and her eyes widened and her lips curved up in a smile.

"Lekin kese karengi aap yeh?" She asked and the smile washed away from her face.

"Nahi, Basith baaton baaton mein manaa lenge. Just make sure Hafsa doesn't get to know, uske liye surprise rahega." I winked and she smiled, nodding.

"Thank you so much, Aunty. Agar aap ka plan kamyaab na bhi hua na toh main aapka ehsaan nahi adaa kar paungi." She looked down.

"Hum ehsaan ki nahi, tumhari aur Hafsa ki khushi ki zarurat hai. Muskuraao chalo ab, shabash." I ordered and she followed.

"Accha, ab main dekhti hoon wahan kya ho raha hai." I patted her head and walked back to the drawing room.

"Aur sunayen, aapka business kesa chal raha hai?" Ameen bhai asked Basith and I signaled Basith. This was the right opportunity to say it.

"Bohot accha, Alhamdulillah. Main toh sab ko yahi advice dunga keh business barhana hai toh America aa jayen. Yaqeen maniye meri baat ka, ap ka business bhi wahan accha chal jayega, Ameen saahab." He replied and I mentally thanked God because Ameen saahab looked interested in it now.

"Aap wahan business ke chakkar mein gaye thay?" He asked, still interested.

Alhamdulillah. Allah, please is bachi ka kuch kar dena. Is ke maa baap maan jayen. Is ka future yun barbaad na hone dena.

"Jee, aur Alhamdulillah hamara faisla bilkul saheeh tha. Main khehta hoon aap log bhi America aa jayen. Wahan quota, emargos wagera ka chakkar bhi nahi hota aur mere kaafi clients hain wahan, main unse aap ko milwa dunga." He replied.

"Jee, aur agar Huda ka rishta dhoond rahi hain toh woh bhi hai mere paas. Wahan woh acchi parhai bhi karlegi aur rishta bhi karwa denge bachi ka." I finally spoke, adding cherry on the top. "Hamare jannne wale hain, woh bhi apne bete ka rishta dhoond rahe hain. Bohot acche log hain, aap aayen toh hum unse bhi milwadenge aapko."

Acting normal in between all this is the hardest task ever! I wasn't born an actor. Aisi acting toh Hafsa hi karti thi.

"Accha hua aapne bata dia. Hum is pe sochenge aur jald se jald aap ko inform kr denge clients wagera ke chakkar mein." Ameen looked thoughtful.

Yaa Allah, please haan ho jaye.

"Jee, lekin baat yeh hai keh parhai ke chakkar mein aap Huda ko America bhejenge ya yahin akele parhwayenge?" I asked deliberately, very well knowing their answer.

"Nahi, woh toh hamare saath jayegi." Ameen saahab answered right away and I nodded.

"Phir usko thora pehle bhejna hoga takeh admission wagera ho jaye araam se warna bohot mushkil ho jayegi. Lekin uski fikar na karen aap, hum Huda ko apne paas rakh lenge, jahan Hafsa wahan Huda." I smiled genuinely. " Akhir dono hamaari betiyaan hain."

"Haan, yeh toh hai. Hum aapko jald se jald jawaab de denge bas apna number de den." Ameen sahaab said and Basith nodded. They exchanged numbers and Ameen sahaab continued, "Aap log kab tak hain yahan pe?"

"Hum abhi shayad ek hafta aur hain yahan, kyun?" Basith answered.

"Hum phir aap ko jawaab de denge aur is maamle mein mil kar beth ke araam se baat bhi kar lenge." He answered and Basith nodded.

"Accha, hum chalte hain. Hamein thora kaam tha toh saath hi aapka ghar tha socha mil len and Huda ko uski cheez bhi de den." I smiled and got up.

"Jee, zaroor. Koi masla nahi, Bohat acha laga aap log aaye." Sameena said and we hugged before being escorted outside the door by them.

I looked at Basith, so proud of him.

"Thank you, Basith." I smiled at him and he shook his head.

"Woh sirf hamari Hafsa ki dost nahi, hamari beti jesi hai." He assured and I smiled.

"Aap ko kia lagta hai? Yeh maan jayenge?" I asked, still a little unsure if they were convinced.

"Mushkil lag raha hai mujhe" He said but then continued

"Waise Ameen sahaab looked interested. I'm sure they'll agree." He smiled and I thanked Allah again.

(End of flashback)

Hafsa's POV:

I woke up and we had our usual dinner but this time it was my favorite breakfast, aloo ke parathe. I helped aunty in making them and we served them to all.

The last time I had them, it was my maiyoon.

I smiled sadly and cursed myself for it.

You promised you won't repeat them again, Hafsa.

I ignored and sat with all but the tears were still their in my eyes. I sat down beside Hussain and felt warmth on my thigh. I looked down to find Hussain's hand. He smiled at me reassuring and I nodded. I continued with my breakfast and then left for my room. I studied a little for the exam but it was kinda easy, didn't take me much time to be done with it.

I heard a doorbell and left to open the door but Maha was already there on the door. I saw Minal standing there and went to her, greeting her.

"Kaisi ho?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Kal hi toh mili thi, Ek din mein kia hoga? Bas nazla zukaam hai wahi and bukhaar utarr gya ab, Alhamdulillah." I told her and she nodded.

"I came here to take me with you." She said and I frowned.

"Why?" I asked in a weird way.

"Because we're going to Laiba's." She replied and I furrowed again."Uski madad krne, bhuddu."

Then it hit me.

Aaj toh Laiba ki party hai na.

"Woh akele kese karegi. She shouldn't work much, hum jaa rahe hain uski madad karne." She said and I nodded.

"Ruko phir. Main aunty ko bata ke aati hoon." I said and she quickly held my arm to stop me.

"Haan, aunty ko beshaq bata dena lekin make sure kisi aur ko na pata chale." She whispered.

I told aunty that I was going with Minal to Laiba's home but didn't tell her the reason. I also asked her to not tell anyone about it and she nodded, not questioning further.

"Kapron ka kya karen? We'll have to get ready for the party na." She said and I thought for a while.

"Ummm... humne wapis aana hai na, tab badal lenge. We don't want anyone to know we were there, right?" I said and she nodded.

We left for Laiba's home and soon reached there. I rang the doorbell and saw that the door was unlocked. I turned the knob and entered inside.

"Waqas, dekh len kon aaya hai, yaar." I heard Laiba shouting and I giggled.

"Hum aaye hain." I said entering into the kitchen.

"Tum log, yahan? Kyun? Kese?" She bombarded us with questions.

"Tumhari madad karane." Minal smiled, taking the knife from her hand. She was about to refuse and I cut her off.

"Chup! Koi bakwaas na karna ab. We are here to help you, humein pata hai tum kr sakti ho. We care for the little baby toh zabaan andar." I said and placed my bag on the chair in kitchen and tied the dupatta crossing it over my chest from my right shoulder and tied it on the left side of my waist.

"Please kisi ko batana nahi that we're here." Minal told Laiba. "I want to see their reaction."

"Kis ka reaction?" Laiba asked. I had the same question in my mind since long.

"Atif ka. I want him to be honest if he liked the food thinking it was made by you." She said shyly and we wooed.

"Waqas to ghar hi hain na, sb se bare patakha." She said thoughtfully and I laughed.

"Toh unko ghar se bhaga do abhi k liye." I said and she nodded before standing and going to her room. We peeked in.

"Waqas, aap kia bethe tv dekh rahe hain. Ek darwaza kholne nahi uth skte aap." She scolded placing her hands on her hips.

"Toh mein kya karoon, janeman?" He asked standing up and holding her by the waist. "Kitchen mein tum mujhe aane hi nahi deti."

"Aap bas choren mujhe." She slapped his hand away. "Aur mujhe kitchen mein kaam kharab nahi karna. Aap jayen aur yeh samaan le kar aayen. Balkeh ayen bhi nahi, apne doston ke saath kahin bhi jayen." I looked at Minal and we both laughed.

"Kyun? Abhi se mood swings? Allah, yeh larkiyan kabhi bhi mere samajh mein nahi aayengi." He said loudly, looking up.

"Hum dil mein aate hain, samajh mein nahi." Laiba cheesed. "Ab jayen na, please? Mujhe kaam karne den sukoon se. You're a distraction."

"I know, ab Allah ne itna handsome banaya hai mujhe, meri kya ghalti?" He said innocently.

"Hai na? Meri bhi ghalti nahi hai. Ab jayen!" Waqas finally agreed and left the house with that long list of things he had to get but not before pecking her on the cheek and whispering an 'I love you' which was loud enough for us to hear.

"Done! Ab chalo." Laiba came back into the kitchen and we made her sit down on the little dining table in her room.

Riaz uncle and Razia aunty weren't home today, they were at Maria and Kamran's since they were leaving for Pakistan for some work. Nausheen aapi was at Toronto so now we were alone.

"Laiba, mujhe yeh kaat ke do." I handed her some onions, garlic, tomatoes, potatoes and a few more vegetables. "You won't get up."

Minal and I managed to do whole of the work. We made biryani, butter chicken, dum kabab and jalfrezi. It took us good 4-5 hours to be completely work-free. Laiba did only the cutting stuff for salad and for cooking. She made raita and we were dome with all the work.

"Ab sweet ka kia karen?" Minal asked as we dropped ourselves onto the sofa in her lounge.

"Coffee crunch bana len?" I asked and they shrugged. "I know how to, it's not that hard. I just need some whipped cream, coffee, oreos, condensed milk, cocoa powder and I guess that's it. Baqi sb mil jayega."

Laiba handed me the things and I instructed Minal and we both worked for making the dessert. It took us half an hour after which the dessert was ready.

"Yaar, thank you so much, guys. Tum logon ke beghair sahi mein pata nahi kia haal hota mera." Laiba thanked and Minal shook her head.

"Bey, abhi se mood swings? Humare darmayan thanks kab se tapak para?" She said Laiba laughed.

"Accha, let's go back home. We need to get ready and drop in again." I said and got up from the comfortable sofa.

We went back to our respective homes. I got my clothes from my home which were too formal but Minal insisted it would look good, and then went back to Shaista Aunty's home. I was tying up my hair when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I shouted and Hussain came in.

I quickly grabbed my dupatta and wrapped it around my neck.

"Tum kahan thi subha se?" He asked entering in.

"Just went to shopping with Minal." I lied. Shopping is the last thing on my list.

"Kuch khareeda?" He asked coming closer and I shook my head.

I continued combing my hair and held them up high in a pony tail. I took the pony from the table and my gaze fell on the mirror. I could see Hussain smiling at me. My cheeks burned and I looked down.

I don't understand why I can't face him, what's so special about him. We're in no relationship, then why? Why does he have an affect on me?

I held the pony and was about to tie my hair when I felt a warm hand on the side of my neck. I looked in the mirror to find Hussain walking closer to me and I gulped down. I could smell his perfume and could feel his warmth near me. His touch sent a 110 volts shock through my body, making me freeze right on the spot.

Why does his touch feel so familiar? How can I recognize his touch without even looking at him?

I couldn't look into his eye for long and lowered my gaze yet again. He leaned in closer and my breath hitched in my throat. I couldn't gulp down. He rounded his hand around my fist which was holding my hair and slowly slid it down my hair.

"Don't tie them. You look beautiful this way." He whispered in my ear in his hoarse, heavy and raspy voice. He set my hair on my shoulder and leaned in again.

I looked down again and this small compliment was making me blush hard. He placed a quick kiss on my cheek making me sink in the touch. I wanted the time to stop right there. I wanted to stay that way, forever. Why? This question was still unanswered.

Hussain moved back and grinned at me. I turned around, my gaze still stuck on the floor.

"You look beautiful, Hafsa." He scanned me up and down and I fidgeted with my fingers harder.

I didn't mind him scanning through my body, it didn't feel bad. It didn't feel wrong.

I didn't reply for long. I didn't how to respond, what to say.

"See you soon. Mein bahar wait kar raha hoon," He turned around to leave.

"Ruko," I called out and he stopped. He turned around and I lifted my gaze. I actually gawked at him shamelessly. He looked so handsome in his grey and white shirt and black pants. I wanted to compliment back but couldn't find the right words. I didn't know how to say that back.

"You look no less. Tum bhi Hot lag rahe ho." I finally voiced out my thoughts and he nodded.

"Thank you." He said smirking and left.

I slipped my feet into my golden flats and moved out. I had worn a red dress which had some golden work on it. I took a selfie and sent it to Ammi and went outside and sat in the car. Hussain was on the driving seat and beside him sat Asif uncle. Shehry was on my left and Shaista aunty on my right. Maha sat behind us.

I was busy looking outside the window on Shehry's side. I could feel someone staring at me and looked in the rare view mirror to look at Hussain looking at me through the mirror. I stared at him and then looked down. They talked about random stuff and I stayed silent throughout.

That was my first ever kiss (on the cheek, obviously) by a boy! I mean a grown up, adult. It definitely didn't feel wrong or bad, but it felt strangely good and not at all weird. Why did he kiss me? No answer! But it definitely made me feel like a queen. His touch felt so good and warm and soothing.

"Aa gaya ghar, Hafsa." Shehry called and I looked around to find him out of the car already.

I climbed out of the car and we rang the doorbell, waiting for the door to be opened. Waqas came and opened the door wide for us, letting us in.

"Assalamualaikum," We all greeted each other and found Minal and Atif already there. The elders got busy with each other, leaving all the kids together.

We all sat together for some time talking about random stuff, teasing Laiba and Waqas and Minal and Atif obviously.

"Hafsa se poocho, Atif. Itni fikar hai Minal ko tumhaari." Laiba winked at me and I laughed. She was referring to today.

"Hain? Kya, kyun kiya isne ab?" Atif asked instantly.

"Bas, yaar, choro. Sharma jaoge tum." I winked at Minal and she shot daggers at me.

"Sahi mein batao, kya hua na!" Shehry whined and the three of us laughed.

"Bachon ki baat nahi hai." Laiba winked, teasing them even more.

We continued with this stuff until it was time for the dinner.

"Larkiyon ne bohat kaam kar lia, aaj larke khana lagayenge." Laiba ordered taking a seat on the sofa and everyone looked at her with their jaws dropped.

"Larkiyon ne konsa kaam kia hai, bey? Sab shopping se ho ke aa rahi hain." They said in a dissatisfied tone. "Tumne kia hoga bas. Hum nahi kar rahe kaam."

"Aaj nahi kiya toh kia hua? Wese toh roz karte hain naaa." I argued taking a place beside Laiba.

"Utho, shabash." Minal ordered too and they huffed.

Hussain's POV

These girls ordered us to serve the dinner and we walked into he kitchen. I was pretty much aware of the kitchen work and how to serve and all but Waqas and Atif? Astaghfirullah, no way!

We grabbed the dishes and started taking the curries out into bowls and garnishing them to make them presentable.

Warna larkiyon ko ek aur bahana mil jayega humain neechey dikhane ka! Hunh!

"Madad chahiye, guys?" Hafsa came in the kitchen and I shook my head.

"Hum kar lenge. Hum bhi kisi se kam nahi." I boasted and she laughed, nodding her head.

"Abey, Atif! Yeh kia kar raha hai tu?" I yelled looking at the dish in his hand and he blinked innocently at him. "Chicken jalfrezi ko tali hui piyaaz se kon garnish karta hai, bewaqoof?"

I separated the fried onion and sighed.

"Yeh konsa saalan hai? What exactly is this?" Waqas said moving a spoon into the pot. I went nearer to take a look at the curry in the pot.

"Fish kabab hain." I replied sarcastically and he widened his eyes at me.

"Fish? Eewww! Fish kabab kon khata hai, aur woh bhi saalan mein. Yucky!" He made a face and I stared at his face in disbelief.

"Tu tubelight hai ya bas acting krta hai?" I asked him and he frowned. "Dum kabab hain."

"Oh, okay!"

We struggled really hard to finally be ready to serve all the food and now only biryani was left to be taken out in a dish. I took the dish from the counter and proceeded to the pot of biryani. Hafsa had been standing on the door since she had asked us for help. She kept giggling on all the problems we faced.

I took hold of the spoon and took out biryani in the dish and Hafsa walked upto me, pushing me back.

"Aise kon nikaalta hai biryani? You need to mix it first." She rolled her eyes at me and started working instead of me.

She mixed the biryani and her hair kept irritating her. She pushed them away but they kept blocking her view and same with the dupatta. She tied the dupatta at her back and I took steps towards her. I grabbed all her hair and held them onto a side so they don't disturb her anymore.

I could feel her stiffening at my touch but she relaxed after a moment. I could see her bare neck and she started taking out the biryani in the pot. I left her hair and she smiled at me.

"Lao, I'll garnish it." I took hold of the dish and continued with my work.

We were soon done and served the food.

Hafsa's POV:

"Wow, yaar. Laiba, you're such a good cook." Atif praised as he kept on munching the food and Laiba and I both smirked at Minal who blushed hard, her gaze stuck to the floor.

"Eeewww! Nahi, itna ganda hai. Namak itna pheeka hai, Laiba. Bechara Waqas. Kese roz kha lete ho yeh khana tm? Yucky." Hussain exclaimed pushing his plate back.

"Kia?" Laiba's jaw dropped and I looked at her in horror.

"Itna accha toh bana hai, Hussain." Shehry defended and I smiled.

"Koi nahi! Aaj raat bahar se hi khana hoga." Hussain made a face and Laiba placed both her hands on her waist.

"Jao phir, kha lena kahin aur se." Laiba scolded.

"Wese bhi, yeh khana meine nahi banaya." She shrugged and Hussain looked at her, shocked. "Jo biryani tum khaa rhe ho was made by Hafsa."

"Aiwein kuch bhi bolta rehta hai tu, Hussain. Itne mazay ka bana hai sab kuch." Shehry defended again and I laughed at Hussain's expression.

"Mujhe pata tha itna accha khana tum bna hi nahi skti. Yeh sb toh drama tha tm se sach nikalwaane ka." Hussain instantly changed parties and I laughed while Laiba rolled her eyes.

"Ek number ke jhoote insan ho tm, Hussain. I seriously hate you so much." Laiba made a face at him and he laughed.

"This is what you call a roothi hui biwi." Hussain remarked and Waqas glared at him.

"Wese Atif, did you really like the food?" I smirked at Minal.

"Yeah, especially the jalfrezi. It's amazing!" He praised and I smirked at Minal once again.

"That jalfrezi is actually made by Minal." Laiba revealed and he looked at her in shock, choking on his food.

"Toh, bhae, tumne kia banaya hai? Ullu?" Hussain questioned an we laughed.

"Nahi, best cheez toh meine banayi hai." She boasted. "Salad kha lo."

We all laughed and continued with our food. We were all soon done and sat in a circle in the drawing room.

"Yaar, kuch khelte hain!" Minal chimed and we all nodded our heads.

"Let's play Antakshri." Hussain offered.

"No, let's play charades." Minal suggested.

"Nahi!" Hussain quickly rejected. "Wese hoti konsi game hai woh?"

"Dumsharaaz, paindu." Minal mocked and we laughed. "We'll make two teams and whisper a name of any movie in one of the player's ear. Then the chosen player will have to act on the movie's name. No antakshri!"

"Stop fighting like kids!" Laiba scolded.

"Sorry to say, we're still kids. Ab tmhari umar aa gai hai buddhon mein bethne ki, what's our fault?" Hussain winked and Laiba's jaw dropped.

"Tujhe mein dekhti hu, kameene! Tumhaari jaan le lungi. Dekhna, beta, tera bhi din ayega." She retorted.

"Hussain, tum na hamesha sb se larte rehna." Shehry scolded and he pouted, making me mentally fangirl over him.

Eeeeeeeeeeh. Shushh.

"Let's play charades and then antakshri." I suggested and they all agreed.

Hussain and Shehry chose the teams. Hussain chose Laiba, Atif and me. Shehry had Minal and Waqas.

"Not fair! You chose all the good people and I have just two partners." Shehry complained in a funny way.

We started playing and we chose Waqas to act for them.

"Hobbit." I whispered in his ear, very well knowing that he loved hobbit but acting on it? Impossible!

He hopped from place to place, basically showing a rabbit which the other team didn't get. He made funny faces and little gestures and asked them what he loved but none could answer. He finally ran into his room and got his fluffy hobbit shoes and showed it to them.

"Hobbit! Meine guess kr lia." Minal cheered happily and we laughed.

"Haww, jhooti! Yeh cheating hai. You can't just bring the whole damn chappal or yours, man." Hussain whined and we laughed.

They are all so kiddish. In ko dekh ke apna bachpan yaad aa jata hai. It makes me feel alive. As if they inject me with energy, fun, adrenaline rush.

"Accha, we choose Hussain. Hum bhi dekh len kitne paani mein ho tum." Shehry called Hussain and they whispered a movie in his ear.

He stood up and thought for a while. He then held an imaginary thread in the air and started pulling it making me confused.

"Yeh kia hai? Sahih se acting kr, mere bhai." Atif furrowed and he sighed.

He then pointed towards the air and started pulling the imaginary thread again making me roll my eyes. He started moving both his hands in a circular motion.

What is he trying to tell? Train? Motor? What?

"Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge?" Atif asked, maybe thinking of the same as me. Hussain shook his head.

"Chennai express?" Laiba asked and he shook his head again.

He smacked his forehead an thought for a while again. He then placed one of his hands on his ear as if holding something there. He extended the other hand and I thought for a while.

"It's a song?" I asked and he nodded his head. He again started pulling the thread and I thought for a while.

Train? Thread? Wait...no! Chain! Koi train ki chain khincha ke jab we met kar de.

"Jab we met?" I shouted and he nodded his head.

"Hero movie!" Atif cheered and Hussain glared at him.

"Jab we met movie?" Laiba asked and he sighed in relief.

Hussain smirked at me and I smiled shaking my head.

Haan haan aagaya yaad mujhe, kya nautanki ki thi ap ne Beach day per. Hehe

"I told you guys, Hussain is the bestest actor ever." He winked at them and jerked his collar.

"Han jee, we could see that." Waqas narrowed his eyes at Hussain and he laughed.

"Accha, let's play Antakshri now." Minal said and we nodded. "Teams would be the same one."

Shehry's POV:

"We won't sing with the letter the song stops on because it's mostly y,u or some other vowel, okay?" Laiba announced and they nodded their heads.

"Fine, let's start." Atif said. "You first letter is 'K'"

We thought for a while and couldn't up with anything.

K se nahi aata? Seriously? Kuch soch!

"1...2...3..." They started counting and I thought harder.

"Chup karo. Khamosh!" I shouted. "I can't concentrate."

What did I just say? Khamosh? Khamoshiyan.

I started singing and no one joined in with me. They swayed to the song as I spoke my heart out.

Khamoshiyan aawaaz hain
Tum sun'ne to aao kabhi
Chhukar tumhe khill jaayengi
Ghar inko bulaao kabhi
Beqarar hain baat karne ko
Kehne do inko zaraa..

Khamoshiyan.. teri meri khamoshiyan
Khamoshiyan.. lipti hui khamoshiyan

Nadiya ka paani bhi khamosh behta yahaan
Khili chandani mein chhipi lakh khamoshiyan
Baarish ki boondon ki hoti kahaan hai zubaan
Sulagte dilon mein hai khamosh uthta dhuaan ...

Khamoshiyan aakaash hai
Tum udne toh aao zara
Khamoshiyan ehsaas hai
Tumhe mehsoos hoti hai kya
Beqarar hain baat karne ko
Kehne do inko zara.. haa..

Khamoshiyan.. teri meri khamoshiyan
Khamoshiyan.. lipti hui khamoshiyan ....

Yeh kuch alfaaz kitne sache hain na? Kese koi gaana hi aapki zindagi se mil jaye, pata bhi nahi chalta. Yeh khamoshiyan jaise sahee mein mujh se kuch kehna chah rahi hon.

My eyes fell on Hafsa and a huge smile crept onto my face.

"Hamara letter kya hai ab?" Asked Minal.

"'K' hai tum logon ka letter." I answered.

They thought for a while and meanwhile I just surfed through my phone. My attention was grabbed when I heard an exceptionally beautiful voice singing one of my favourite songs. I looked up to find the words escaping from Hafsa's mouth.

Kabhi jo baadal barse
Main dekhoon tujhe aankhein bharke
Tu lage mujhe pahli baarish ki duaa ...

Tere pahloo mein reh loon
Main khudko paagal keh loon
Tu gham de ya khushiyaan
Seh loon saathiya ...

Aaaa Saathiyaa...

Saathiyaa ..

Hmmm ...

Koi nahi.. tere siva mera yahaan
Manzilein.. hain meri to sab yahaan ...
Mita de sabhi aaja faasle
Main chahoon mujhe mujhse baant le
Zara sa mujhme tu jhaank le
Main hoon kya ...

Kabhi jo baadal barse
Main dekhoon tujhe aankhein bharke
Tu lage mujhe pahli baarish ki duaa

Tere pahloo mein reh loon
Main khudko paagal keh loon
Tu gham de ya khushiyaan
Seh loon saathiya ...

I looked at her in complete awe as she beautifully ended the song leaving us all astonished.

"Umm, I love this song, and I don't know why, but it feels like it suits me" She smiled.

I smiled at her and everyone praised her voice. We continued with the game and we got 'A'. Waqas started singing and we all joined in.

Aankhon ke panno pe
Maine likha tha sau dafaa
Lafzon mein jo ishq tha
Hua naa hothon se bayaan

Khud se naraaz hoon
Kyun be-aawaaz hoon
Meri khamoshiyan hain sazaa
Dil hai yeh sochta
Phir bhi nahi pataa
Kis haq se kahun bataa

Ke Main Hoon Hero Tera ...

Haan Main hoon hero tera ..

Before ending the song, he grabbed Laiba's hand making her stand and went on his knees and ended the song singing the last part dramatically.

We all hooted at the end and continued with giving them the letter 'A' again.

Mujhe de rahe thay na? Khud gaa ke dikhayen toh mein manun.

I instantly regretted my choice when I realized they already had a song with 'A' in their mind.

Hussain's POV.

Hafsa got 'K' and she started singing the song leaving me in an awe.

She ended the song beautifully and added

"Umm, I love this song, and I don't know why, but it feels like it suits me" She smiled.

Wo muskurahat aankhon tak nahi pohanchi uski, aankhen nam nam si lag rahi thin.. Suits me? Aisa kyun kaha usne? Us ka aise kehne se mujhe kyun be sukooni si horahi?

I shook my head and continued playing with them, it was now my turn after Waqas and Shehry suggested 'A' for me. I thought for a while when it hit me and I started singing.

Uski aankhon mein aankhen daal kar dil ki baat keh di, aur pata bhi nahi chala .. Aisa laga aaj nahi keh paaya to kabhi nahi keh pata ... aur ganay k sath sath dil us k naam kardiya ...

Shehry's POV

Anjaane ho tum, jo begaane ho tum
Jo pehchaane lagte ho kyun
Tum gehri neendon me jab soye soye ho
Toh mujhme jagte ho kyun ... ?

Jab tujhko paata hai
Dil muskurata hai
Kya tujh se hai waasta ... ?
Kya tujh me dhoondu main
Kya tujh se chaahu main
Kya kya hai tujhme mera ... ?
Jaanu na main tujhme mera hissa hai kya
Par ajnabi apna mujhe tu lagaa...

Tujhse taalluk jo nahi kuch mera
Kyun tu lage hai apana saa ... ?
Dekhu jo tujhko ik nazar
Jaaye bhar mujhme hai mera jo khala ...

Zindagi me khushi tere aane se hai
Warna jeene mein gham, har bahane se hai
Hai yeh alag baat hai hum mile aaj hain
Dil tujhe jaanata ik zamaane se hai ...
Jaanu na main tujhme mera hissa hai kya
Par ajnabi apna mujhe tu laga
Jaanu na main tujhse mera rishta hai kya
Par ajnabi apna mujhe tu laga ...

Hussain sang in a beautiful voice too. We all praised his voice too. He really has many hidden talents which even I don't know about. He never fails to surprise me too.

We continued with the game and our usual gup-shup and chera-cheri. We teased each other over the songs they sang and enjoyed every moment of it. We clicked many pictures and had real fun. We enjoyed collecting a lot of more memories.

We returned home, too tired to even bid a goobye to Maha or giving her my daily goodnight kiss or hug. I plumped myself onto the bed and soon fell into a peaceful slumber.
