Hinata's confused white eyes roamed the path, looking for her late teammate. "H-he's never late. What I-if something happened to him?" she asked Kiba who sat next to her.
Her dog-like teammate shrugged. " I don't know. Maybe he went on a mission or something. But me and Akumaru are hungry, let's just eat!"
Hinata nodded shyly before ordering her food. She was quite nervous that Shino hadn't come. Not only was she worried for his protection, she enjoyed his company. He hardly ever talked but when it was the three of them she felt safer. When it was the three if them together that meant nothing would happen between two of them. For a reason she didn't know, she feared being alone with Kiba. Yet, she felt slightly excited for a time for it to be the two of them.
The purple haired female had noticed that lately she's felt a little..........attracted to Kiba. Whenever she realized how she was feeling though, her feelings would change to guilt. She felt unfaithful to Naruto whenever she looked at a man. They weren't together but perhaps they would be one day. Maybe the day she admits her feelings. Sadly, she doubted that time would come.
Her feelings for the two were different. She felt shy and at awe when she was with Naruto but she felt more confident and at ease with Kiba.
During their meal they had flirted with each other, Kiba doing most of it, and Hinata was able to say she had a good time. She was tense and nervous at first but at one point she couldn't help but relax. In fact, at one point she had lost her stutter!
One thing she enjoyed was the not fainting part. Naruto just made her feel so overwhelmed and she always felt that she couldn't be herself for there were a chance Naruto wouldn't like her.
With Kiba she was able to feel more herself and comfortable.
And she knew Kiba had feelings for her. If he didn't, then why would he have flirted with her the whole time? And the time at the chunnin exams when she had fainted he had came to her aid and called an ANBU for her.
But then again, Naruto had once stood up for her and defended her from her brother. But now that she thinks of it, he would have done it for anybody. He was an amazing person who put others in front of himself. That's why she had a crush on him.
But should she still like Naruto? She was beginning to like Kiba and it seemed that Kiba liked her.
"What are you suddenly thinking so hard about, Hinata? Were you even listening?" Kiba complained.
Hinata giggled. GIGGLED. She could never do that with Naruto! "Maybe."
Kiba groaned in fake annoyance. " Well then listen! ANYWAY, then the dog walker brought Akumaru 2 hours earlier because apparently he was too hard to handle. Akumaru couldn't hurt a fly! Well, their was that time he killed that fly Shino put on my leg to keep track of where I was. But that's not the point! If I don't tell him to attack anyone he's completely harmless. That guy just..."
Meanwhile, Shino was hiding in the shadows, watching them. Smirking slightly, although it was hidden by his ridiculously large collar, he congratulated himself for a job well done.

After contacting Sasuke in his mind, Ino had finally come home. She was intent on skipping dinner and going strait to sleep; strait to her fantasy man.
So you'd imagine her bewilderment when flowers, flowers she only received in her daydreams, arrived at her doorstep.
They were tulips. Purple tulips. But how? Not many people knew what she kind of flowers she liked. Not many people care. The only person who knew that was Sakura. Was this a prank or something? She didn't think Billboard Brow would go THAT far.
Yet she couldn't help but sniff and admire them. That's when she noticed the note.
"I've admired and watched you from a far. Although you notice not my existence, I adore you every moment of every day. You may not know who I am but remember this; love does not have a face."
This was not Sakura's handwriting. And did her mystery guy say LOVE? What does love does nor have a face mean? Of course it doesn't have a face, it's an emotion not a person. But whoever wrote this was sweet.
But he had to be someone she sees everyday. Maybe he's a customer who comes everyday to see her! That would be soooooooo romantic.
She could picture him now. He probably looked a lot like her dream guy. And he sounds so shy! But why won't he show himself? Oh well, she'll have to go to him first. That is, if she sees him.
Suddenly it dawned on her. He couldn't possible have known her favorite flowers! He must have asked Sakura about the flowers! So that means Sakura saw him!
However, Sakura is going through the whole Sasuke thing. She can't just go and ask Sakura now! Her best friend must be dying (theoretically. Sasuke is the one dying:)). Oh whatever! She did Sakura a favor and now Sakura needs to return the favor.
But she'll ask tomorrow. For now she could go dream about her mystery man!

Tsunade, who was passed out on her desk, woke up to see the beautiful view of Shizune's disappointed and annoyed face.
"I found TonTon. Not that you'd remember beside apparently, you've been drinking all night while I was gone!" she scolded, holding up a mostly empty bottle of sake that previously sat on the floor next to her desk.
Tsunade blinked tiredly while putting a hand to her head. "Not so loud, Shizune."
Shizune fumed and was about to make an angry retort when a nurse burst into the room, interrupting them. Again? These people have impeccable timing.
"It's Sasuke! He's getting better!" the nurse said excitingly.
The hokage and her assistant shared confused looks, both forgetting their previous argument.
"What happened? He was a wreck before."
The nurse shrugged. "We don't know but its amazing. He's making one of the fastest recoveries we've ever seen!"
"Has he woken up yet?" The Godaime asked.
"Nope but by the way he's healing he may wake up by tomorrow or Friday!"
"Has anyone told Sakura?"
Tsunade knew the whole thing with Sasuke was really hurting Sakura. It was ironic that Sakura was going through what the Godaime had gone through in her own youth. Except he's slowly dying and her student had to suffer each and every moment. Sakura would be euphoric if she knew her long lost loved one was not to die. To have your loved one die in your hands was.........horrible. It felt as if you were the one who killed them. Tsunade couldn't help but wish she was as lucky as Sakura though.
Her brother and lover died so fast. Her lover had died in her hands and her brother was dead before she showed up. She didnt
"Not yet but we will." the nurse promised.
"I'll come with you to tell her. Shizune, you stay here in case someone comes in." Tsunade instructed.
"It isn't necessary but okay."
As they left to tell Sakura, Tsunade couldn't help but smile to herself. She had just saved herself from one of Shizune's infamous lectures. It would have made her hangover worse.

At the moment, Sakura was pacing around in her bedroom. She was nervous. Scared. Excited. She was experiencing mixed feelings.
She had been told today that Sasuke was miraculously getting better. She had no idea what Ino said, but it must have been amazing for Sasuke to listen. He was so stubborn.
How was he going to react? Would he be angry and hate her for bringing him back? Would he ignore everyone and never leave his apartment? Would he act as if it never happened? Would he randomly tell her he loves her?
Bad Sakura, bad. Don't put false hope in your head. It would only hurt more later on.
Should she go visit him at the hospital and wait for him to wake up? Perhaps he would rather not see her. Her presence had often annoyed him.
But she had waited so long! She NEEDED to see him awake, even for a few seconds.
She had waited for years. What would a couple of hours be?
But what if Sasuke wanted to see her when he woke up? As if. He spent the time they had together wishing she wasn't there.
When she was told she was on the same team as him before, she was ecstatic while his face was neutral. When she found his head sticking out of the ground during their training with Kakashi, she panicked and fainted from worry where when she was passed out and woke up Sasuke just helped her up looking nothing but confused. When she cried over his limp body when she thought Haku killed him where when Sasuke regained consciousness he complained about her weight. She always overreacted. Or, to put it differently, he under reacted.
He despised her presence so why should she butt in his life?
"Because you care to much to leave" a voice in her head reminded her.
It was silly though for the expression was, "if you love something, set it free". But she was too selfish to just leave.
Love. Did she still love him? He was a horrible person. She loved the old him, not the present him.
No one understood her love for him. He was so quiet and un social. No one really saw his personality. People would question her feelings asking "How could you love someone you barley know?"
Truth be told, he didn't open up to her. Of coarse he had before, during Kakashi's test he had told her about his brother. But he hardly did besides that. But the thing is, she had always seen through his tough facade. He was young, hurt boy who lost his patents and learned the ugly truth about his role model. She saw through those cole black eyes and saw his true emotion. She understood the problems he faced that he never admitted out loud. She got him. She felt for him.
But she respected his wishes. She wouldn't visit him so soon but she would visit.
She had to.
