You know, all you had to do was die.
It was your only obligation.
We talked about it for hours and after fighting, we decided I was best at merely just 'surviving'.
All you had to do was die. And then everything would be okay. There was no breath in either of your lungs, anyway.
You were just an idea.
A figment of my own imagination I created to release me from my own prison.
All you had to do was die. Hell, you could've just disappeared. Instead, you clung to my insides, screaming, "Let me out!" And you filled my mind with doubt that I was doing the right thing.
All you had to do was die. All you had to do was disappear.
All you had to do was protect me from myself.
But you just kept coming back, insisting you were there to 'help'.
