"Dad!" Annie rushed up to Indy, hanging onto the wrist of a local boy about her age.
"Annie," Indy replied in a gentle warning tone. "I told you to stay at the camp -"
"But Dad!" Annie pleaded. "This is Farouk. He knows another way into the ruin!"
"Another way?" Marion stammered, focusing on the dark haired little boy. He smiled at her and Indy, pointing at the cliffs, explaining in rapid Egyptian Arabic.
Sallah came over to translate. "He says it is behind the cliff, on the other side. There is a way to be lowered in. Maybe an air shaft. He doesn't know - but it is deep. And it fills with water when the tide is high."
Indy looked at the encroaching waves. "Then we don't have much time."
Marion grabbed the horse. "I'll bring the ropes from the camp."
