3rd Point Of View
"Uraume." Sukuna called out to girl as she entered the throne room. It was the next day and Sukuna had been awaiting Uruame's arrival for the past hour.
"Yes, my Lord." She replied calmly, bowing to Sukuna as she entered the room. He squinted his eyes at her, annoyed about how casual she was being- as if she hadn't been knowhere to be found yesterday.
"Where have you been?" Sukuna then asked the girl, staying calm.
"I was in Shinza village, collecting information on the three sorcerers who stole from you, my Lord. As you requested." She replied truthfully, making Sukuna pause.
"Ah. I suppose I did ask you to do that, didn't I?" Sukuna muttered to himself with a roll of his eyes at his disinterest in his own orders.
"Well, I've been meaning to talk to you about your new hire." Sukuna then said, changing topic. Uraume paused, hesitantly looking up at Sukuna. He's never inquired about a servant before- let alone been able to tell if they were a new hire or not. Something happened.
"Her name is (Y/n), my Lord. She was hired yesterday morning." Uraume confirmed. Sukuna scoffed. She'd caused him so much annoyance on her first day? That was probably a new record.
"Did you...come across her in the halls?" Uraume asked hesitantly, hoping that that was all it was. Maybe the girl tripped and brought attention to herself? Yes, maybe that's all it was.
"Come across her? Not only did she speak to me, but she dared to look me in the eyes, take my scarf out of my hands, repair it on her own accord and then disturb me during my reading to return it." Sukuna complained with a scoff.
Uraume froze, her eyes going wide with shock. The girl did...what?
"Have a punishment arranged for her. And double the time." Sukuna ordered, glaring down at Uruame, his fingers tapping along his throne's arm.
"Yes, my Lord...of course. I will see to it myself." Uraume promised with a nod. Not only would she punish the girl, she'd ask what the hell was going through my mind. Had she been a servant a year ago, she'd be ash on the floor right now.
"And teach her the rules again. I think she might be stupid." Sukuna added.
"Of course, my Lord." Uraume replied before bowing once again and leaving the throne room. She then made her way to the servants bathing room as quickly as possible. It was a simple but large room covered in tiling with one large bath and a few buckets on the sides. Uraume made eye-contact with the servant who worked in the bathing room.
"Ready a punishment immediately." The white haired lady ordered.
"Y-yes, ma'am." The boy nodded with gulp at the command, hurrying over to the hot stones while Uraume turned around and made her way down the hall and to the scroll room. Surely enough, the girl in question was there. Weirdly enough, she was sat outside the room translating rather than at her station. But that was a question for another time.
"Come with me." Uraume then demanded to (Y/n) who looked up at her with a stoic face yet innocent eyes. (Y/n) nodded as she stood to her feet, not questioning what was happening at all as she followed Uruame all the way to the servants bathing room. Now the room was steamed, the hot stones at the bottom of the bath making it boil so hot that it will scald.
"Remove your clothing." Uraume then ordered the girl, turning towards her once they were both stood in the room. (Y/n) looked up at Uraume quickly, seeming suprised by the order. Her eyes glanced at the boiling water in the bath, slowly piecing together what this was all about- what was about to happen to her.
"I have been asked by Lord Sukuna to punish you for your actions last night." Uraume then further explained.
"Ah, I see." (Y/n) then mused, now understanding. If this is what Lord Sukuna wanted then she'd do it with no hesitation. Uraume grit her teeth with frustration, hoping that (Y/n) would have elaborated on what she done. But she did not, simply just taking off all her clothes until she was completely nude, with only a necklace with a key around her neck and the cuffs around her wrists.
"May my cuffs stay on?" (Y/n) asked, making Uraume pause in thought before nodding.
"Yes...I suppose that is safer for us all." Uraume agreed, then motioning for the girl to get into the water. (Y/n) done as she was told, lowering herself into the scalding water with a stoic expression. She did not scream or cry out in pain, despite the fact her skin felt like it was melting off the deeper she was in. She lowered herself in until only her head was sticking out.
The girl grit her jaw tightly, forcing herself to breath through her teeth.
"It feels like the it will burn your skin off but I assure you you will not bubble or scar from this temperature." Uraume told the girl, but she could barely hear her with all the screaming she was doing in her own head. (Y/n) had to remind herself that she had to keep on breathing.
"You are to stand there for six minutes. It is usually three but Lord Sukuna has requested that I double the punishment." Uruame added, "When your timer is up, Riosuke will help you out. Then you are to put on the medicinal gel and then find me. We will be going through every rule again." (Y/n) forced herself to nod and say,
"Yes, Uraume."
