"How far along are you?" Suag asked as he examined his friend who didn't look like he had gotten bigger at all.
"Five and a half months. I know I don't look it. I can feel them move every now and then. The doctor said that everything is fine though," Suga could sense a bit of sadness in his voice and noticed a well of tears beginning to form in the corner of his eyes.
"Toru... are you okay," he asked.
"I'm fine, it's just... I haven't been able to talk about being pregnant for months. I want to go baby shopping and I want to show you the nursery, and," By this time Oikawa had tears streaming down his face.
"I'm sorry these damn pheromones and hormones are making me so emotional,"
"I know," Suga said softly.
As Scarlet started to fuss a little.
"Is she okay?" Oikawa asked anxiously.
"She is fine, probably hungry," Suga said as he gently took his baby into his arms.
𐬺𝙴𝚗𝚍 𝚁𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚙𐬺
Kageyama and Hinata finally made their way home, and both felt drained from the day. They walked through the back door into the kitchen where Daichi and Iwaizumi were both visibly struggling at cooking what they assumed would be dinner.
"How did your appointment go?" Daichi asked as he heard the door shut and saw Kageyama and Hinata staring at him, not acknowledging the mess of ingredients scattered about the counters and even the floor.
"Fine," Hinata and Kageyama said in unison, not wanting to discuss it, while also wanting to escape the mess that had befallen the kitchen.
"Toru and Suga are in the living room," Iwaizumi said as he picked up an egg that had fallen to the floor and broken.
"Takeda, Miwa, and Ellie are also... somewhere around here," Daichi said hesitantly as he frantically began searching for something.
"What happened to my measuring cup?"
"Here," Iwaizumi said as he handed it to him and Kageyama and Hinata made their retreat to the living room where Oikawa and Suga were on the couch.
"Hello, you two," Suga said happily as they came into view.
"Hello, Tobio-Chan, Shōyō-Kun," Kageyaka grimaced hating hearing how casually Addressed his Omega, but let it go.
"Where is my sister?" he asked ignoring Oikawa's presence.
"She, Ellie, and Takeda are in the nursery... I'm not sure what they are doing," Suga replied as he tried to calm Scarlet who was beginning to cry. Kageyama nodded and let go of His Omega's hand before heading down the hall to where the nursery was, right. Next to the Omega Den. Hinata shrugged and walked over to the couch and sat down on the opposite side of Suga.
"Can I feed her?" he asked a little anxious.
"Of course," Suga replied softly handing The less fussy Scarlet to him and reaching toward the coffee table to grab the bottle before handing it to Hinata.
Kageyama opened the door to the nursery, where he found his sister, Ellie, and Takeda sitting on the floor attempting to build some form of furniture. Miwa looked up at the doorway.
"Hey, Tob- is everything okay?" Miwa asked as she saw the look on her brother's face. She put down a screwdriver she had in her hand before standing up and walking over to him as he shook his head.
"I'll be back in a moment," She said and waited for Ellie and Takeda to give her a nod before shutting the door behind her.
"Let's go for a walk," Kageyama nodded and followed his sister back through the living room and out the back door in the kitchen.
"So... what's going on?" Miwa asked as she and her brother walked past the pool and through the gate that lead to the volleyball court. Kageyama stared down at the ground shaking his head as he sat down on the bench beside the court.
"Dr. Hishiro wants me to see a therapist for these nightmares, and I don't want Dad to know,"
Miwa sat down beside her brother and pulled her phone out of her pocket.
"You don't want to hurt his feelings, right?" She asked as she sent a quick text to her Omega to let her know they were just by the volleyball court and hadn't gone far.
"Yeah... he tried to talk to me before about stuff," Kageyama replied and let out a frustrated sigh.
"There's more, isn't there?"
Kageyama glared at his sister who was giving him a cheeky smile.
"Fine, I think there is something wrong with Sho, even tho the Doctor said it will get better, I can feel it... and his scent is off,"
Miwa put her phone down and stared at her brother.
"Tobio... what do you mean by "off"?" her concern grew as she thought about the fact that Kageyama could only smell Hinata's scent, which meant he knew it better than most Alphas knew their Omega's scent.
"I don't know," He replied with a low growl from frustration.
"It's just different,"
"Okay, okay don't get angry with me, or I might have to remind you which one of us is stronger," Kageyama rolled his eyes.
"You're not stronger,"
"Sure, whatever you say. But stop ignoring the topic,"
"I don't know... he smells sweeter, but it's not alluring, it's more of a calming sweet," by this point, Kageyama felt like his head was about to explode.
"Did you tell Dr. Hishiro?"
Kageyama shook his head and stared at his sister, trying to find the right way to say his next words.
"I think he's pregnant,"
Miwa was quiet for a second as she looked at her brother in slight confusion.
"But...didn't they say," she stopped when Kageyama shook his head and shot up from the bench.
"Yeah they said that he isn't, and today Dr. Hishiro said the rest was now reading negative,"
Miwa could see the panic making its way through her brother's body as he paced with his hands in his hair.
He turned to his sister before taking a deep breath and sitting back down.
"I know he is," his voice almost whispered, and sounded like he was on the verge of either going into a rage or having a full-blown panic attack.
Miwa placed a hand on her brother's back.
"Tobio, it's okay," she tried to sound calm.
"I think maybe you should go back in and maybe take a nap before dinner," Kageyama nodded.
"I haven't slept,"
"I know," Miwa replied and stood stretching her arms over her head.
"I should get back to Ellie and Takeda. We're building a rocking couch, me and Ellie bought it for the nursery,"
Kageyama walked into the living room not expecting to see His Omega sitting on the couch cradling Sharlet in his arms. He hesitated for a moment before speaking.
"Do you want to shower before dinner?" He asked, avoiding eye Contact.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a minute," Hinata replied, not quite ready to give up Sharlet.
In their room, Kageyama had taken off his T-shirt and pants, leaving him in his boxers. He walked into their bathroom. Leaning with his hands on the counter he looked in the mirror and could see the dark circles under his eyes from not sleeping. He turned on the faucet and splashed some cold water on his face. For a brief moment, the cold water helped him feel a bit more awake. He turned off the water before turning to the shower and mindlessly staring at it, almost in a trance as he debated if he really wanted to take one or not. After a few moments of debating he turned back to the doorway and staggered to the bed before flopping down onto it on his stomach. A few moments passed before his hand subconsciously found Hinata's bear, which didn't have much of Kageyama's scent left in it, but did have quite a bit of Hinata's. Missing the presence of his Omega he couldn't help but pull it close to him.
"Tobio?" Hinata said as he came into their bedroom. He Walker to their bed where he four d his Alpha passed out on his stomach.
"Finally asleep, Bakayama," he said with a smile as sat on the edge of the bed and pushed a few strands of Raven hair from his forehead before laying next to him. Kageyama, sensing his Omegas presence Kaveyama pushed the bear aside and pulled Hinata into his arms and close to his chest.
"So we're not going to take a shower?" Hinata asked as he Nuzzled his face into his Alpha's chest, after a few minutes of silence he took that as his answer.
The rest of the packhouse had become quite lively as the rest of the pack came home. Everyone gathered around the living room to visit with Oikawa and once again coo over Scarlet, while Iwaizumi and Daichi continued to struggle in the kitchen.
"What is your university like?" Yachi asked, semi-curious since she wanted to attend the same one that Oikawa and Iwaizumi were in.
Oikawa shrugged.
"It's nice, they have some nice on-campus cafes that have good Milk bread, and one of them has Milk Tea,"
"Really?!" Yachi's eyes lit up at the thought of an on-campus cafe.
Oikawa nodded.
Kiyoko smiled at her now excited omega.
Coach Ukai came from down the hall where he had been checking on Tekeda, Ellie, and Miwa. He took a breath and decided to go into the kitchen, not feeling in the mood for chit-chat, quickly he discovered that was probably the wrong move. As he stepped into the kitchen he found two very defeated-looking Alpha sitting on the stools at the kitchen counter. There was flour, eggs, Rice, Chicken, and Tofu pieces all over the floor, counter, table, and even somehow the ceiling.
"What happened here?" He asked, catching Daichi and Iwizumi by surprise, causing them to jump.
"Sorry," he said and sat down at the kitchen table.
Daichi put his head down on the counter, both in exasperation and frustration.
"We were trying to make Toru's and Suga's favorite foods," Iwaizumi started, seeing the state Daichi was in.
"The rice cooker had a malfunction and managed to explode rice everywhere, we didn't put the oven at the right temperature, and the mill bread burnt, and the Tofu I was going to cut up... is expired even though I just bought it yesterday.
Ukai couldn't help the snicker that came out of him.
"Sorry," he said and stood up from the table.
"Maybe we should just order takeout, no one has to know. And while we go pick it up I can ask Miwa and Ellie if they would mind cleaning this. Up, so Suga never had to know,"
Daichi stared up at his previous coach, a feeling of failure flowed through him for a moment before nodding and accepting his help.
"You don't mind?" Iwaizumi asked.
"No, I know if I don't and Takdeda found out I left you hanging he would be upset, and I don't want that," as he spoke Ukai took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and pulled one out.
"I'll text Ellie," he said and ushered them out the back door.
Luckily Ellie and Miwa were able to sneak into the kitchen with the help of Takeda to make sure Suga and Oikawa wouldn't find out about the state of the Kitchen or that their Alphas had left.
It took two stops at two different convenience stores and one Restaurant for Iwaizumi and Daichi to get all the things they needed. Once they had everything they headed back home.
Luckily when they arrived back at the pack house, Eellievand Miwa had managed to make the kitchen look perfect as if nothing had exploded or bunt, and Takeda had managed to keep everyone else from the kitchen.
"Now let's make it look like you guys made this," Ukai said after placing a few bags on the counter and beginning to pull things out of them.
Iwaizumi and Daichi were both silent as they followed suit. Daichi was taking some serving platters out of the cabinets while Iwaizumi started to take food out containers of food.
Coach Ukai excused himself after a few minutes of seeing that he was no longer needed and went into the living room to Join everyone else.
He walked up to Takeda who had Tori in his Arms while her brother Was laying on the floor on a mat on his stomach, looking up and cooing at Kiyoko and Yachi. He looped his arm around Takdea's waist and pulled him close to him. He felt like it had been a long time since he had all of his previous third years together like this, even though it hadn't been that long. He stood there and simply listened to them share their stories. Finally, Daichi and Iwaizumi emerged from the kitchen.
"Is dinner finally ready, Iwa-Chan?" Oikawa asked when he saw the Alpha step from around the couch.
Both he and Daichi nodded.
"Good, I'm starving," Suga said with a laugh.
"Can someone go tell Hinata and Kageyama?" he asked as he handed Daichi Scarlet so he could stand up from the couch.
"I'll go," Yamaguchi said before bounding up the stairs to Hinata and Kageyama's bedroom.
"Hey, dinner is ready!" the knock followed by Yamagucci's voice woke Kageyamaa up from his rare restful sleep. Somewhat groggy he sat up and gently nudged Hinata beside him. Hinata woke up, mildly confused, until he heard Yamaguchi knock and yell "dinners ready," one more time.
"We'll be there in a minute," Kageyama shouted back before swinging his legs off the side of the side of the bed.
"How did you sleep?" Hinata asked, thankfully for seeing his Alpha rested for once.
"Better," Kageyama replied as he grabbed a red T-shirt from the floor and tossed it to his Omega to put on before grabbing a beige shirt and slipping it on over his head. After they were both dressed, Kageyama led his Omega by the hand down the stairs and to the kitchen, where everyone besides Oikawa, Iwiaizumi, and Ukai was at the table, with the other three sitting at the counter, since there wasn't enough room. Hinata saw that his and Kageyama's places at the table were set and ready for them, with Takeda sitting beside them. They took their places and stared at the serving dishes that were in the middle of the table filled with, spicy tofu, rice milk break, and some steamed vegetables.
"Before we eat, I think Oikawa and Iwaizumi have something they'd like to say," Siga announced once everyone was seated.
Ookawa stood from his Stool at the counter and gave a wide cheeky grin.
"We're having a baby," He said, his tone an array of emotions ranging from worry to happiness.
"I'll be six months next month and we're going to have a baby shower, Omegas only," he added as an invite.
"Finally," Noya burst out, thankful he wouldn't have to keep the secret anymore since Oikawa had told them the month before.
"You don't let ok like you that far along?" Takeda said with a Smile after taking a moment to examine him.
"Yeah, my doctor said it can be normal with the way I'm built and the way I'm carrying, Oikawa added as he grabbed a piece of Milk bread.
After which everyone took as a cue to dig in.
