5 pm, Jennie texted Jisoo:

It was pretty dead at the library today. The coffee machines were free of lines and the common area where students usually flocking was pretty empty. In one quiet corner, Jennie spotted Jisoo with folded arms and a grumpy look on her face.
She came over to Jisoo and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Hey, baby..."
Jisoo just grunted and looked even grumpier.
"Aww, she's cranky today..." Jennie smiled, "by the way, the library is pretty empty today."
"It is!" Jisoo exclaimed, "Everyone is busy today."
"Oh I wonder why..." Jennie played innocent.
Jisoo gave her a disapproving look, "Everyone is celebrating the special day."
"Oh really..." Jennie seemed not interested.
"Yes really!" Jisoo replied impatiently, "You don't know?"
Jennie planted a kiss on the corner of Jisoo's lips. Jisoo obviously wanted more kisses, but since she was still in her sulk, she was just pouting and scowling. Jennie tried her best not to smile.
So cute.
"Know what?" Jennie then changed the subject, "Let's go now. I don't like the smell of these old books..."
Before Jisoo could say anything, Jennie pulled her from her seat and dragged the sulking girl towards the parking area.
"I'm driving today," Jennie said cheerfully, "where we're going, Miss Cranky Kim?"
Jisoo's face was lightened up a little as she gave the name of the place. Lisa recommended the place to her, said it was the hot spot for couples to hang out. Jisoo hadn't heard of the place before but Lisa insisted that she had to go there with Jennie. Lisa even took care of the reservation.
Jisoo was elated, but also annoyed by her clueless girlfriend.
"You still don't know what day is today?" Jisoo glanced at Jennie.
"Should I?" Jennie answer nonchalantly.
Jisoo was feeling irked, "Try to guess."
Jennie chuckled, "Why is my Pikachu so worked up."
"Don't Pikachu me, don't you see I'm currently upset?" Jisoo protested, "do you know our anniversary day?"
Jennie acted fool, "Yes, three days ago..."
"What day is that?" Jisoo asked slowly to hide her burning impatience.
"Well, I'm driving now. I will check my calendar later."
"Jennie! I can't believe this!"
"Geez..." Jennie chuckled, "I was just teasing... It's February 11th."
"Exactly, now add three days to it..."
Jennie tried to buy some time, she turned at the corner hesitantly, pretended to be confused with the car navigation so she could avoid answering Jisoo.
"We're about to arrive, babe..." Jennie didn't give her the answer, she then texted someone with one hand and holding the steering wheel with another. She drove slowly on the dingy and empty narrow road.
"Jennie?" Jisoo looked so devastated because Jennie ignored her, "don't drive and text. This is why I should always behind the wheel. And also, 11 plus 3 is....?"
Jennie's phone beeped, she looked at the screen and smiled. She slowed down the car.
"We're almost there, Chu, " she smiled at the girl; with a softer voice she said, "and 11 plus 3 is 14. Today is February 14th..."
Jennie pulled up the car, and as she turned off the headlights, something caught Jisoo's attention. A sudden pinkish glow bursting from the windshield.
Jisoo squinted her eyes, trying to make out the source of the light. In confusion, she spotted a LED sign hanging nearby.
The words PS. I LOVE YOU flashed across the sign.
"Happy valentine's, baby..." Jennie whispered.

Jisoo's eyes twinkled with a dazzling radiance as the light's reflection danced on them. Soft lights were bouncing off her face, making it glowing with a beautiful gleam. More and more colorful lights around them were turned on, and as their surroundings gradually lit up, Jisoo's face showed another look of surprise.
Instead of admiring the decorations and light display she had set up for Jisoo, Jennie took the moment to appreciate the beauty sitting next to her. She grabbed Jisoo's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze as Jisoo continued to be stunned by the light show. Jisoo's reaction to this surprise left Jennie feeling relieved.
"Is my Pikachu still upset?"
"Jennie..." Jisoo was speechless, her expression a blend of fascination and confusion.
As they stepped out of the car, the cold air and the warm lights greeted them. A gentle rumble emerged from a nearby stream, Jisoo figured they were somewhere near the river bank.
"Jennie.. I thought you didn't know that today is Valentine's day."
Under and surrounded by all the lights, Jisoo cupped her girlfriend's face and left a kiss on her girlfriend's strawberry lips.
"I figured. I asked Lisa to recommend this place to you so I can set up this little surprise..." Jennie wrapped her arms on Jisoo's and leaned her head on the girl's shoulder, together enjoying the humble light show.
"You're sabotaging my valentine's plan?" Jisoo playfully disapproved.
Jennie laughed, "Exactly, I beat you on this!"
Jennie guided Jisoo towards the riverside, her hand grasping firmly onto hers. As they approached, they could see rows of yachts moored at the dock. The sunset descending rays hit the vessels, colored them golden against their pale hulls.
Not far from where they were, there was a club house. Jisoo pointed at the building, "Is that the restaurant? Are we going there?"
"No, Lisa lied to you, she didn't make any reservation," Jennie then pointed at the biggest yacht at the dock, "We're having a river tour this evening."
Jisoo gasped. She looked at the magnificent vessel. She had never been in one, let alone a luxury one. Suddenly, she saw a familiar figure on the deck of their yacht.
Is that Taehyung?
She saw another, and some others.
Lisa? Rosé?
She looked at Jennie. As if reading her mind, Jennie nodded, "Yes, that's right. I invited the dorks and some of my friends to our valentine's cruise this evening... It's gonna be fun!"
