"Jen..."

"Hmm..."

"I have a 8 am class, I am going now," Jisoo whispered to Jennie who was still sleeping. She left a peck on her cheek.

"Huh?" Jennie turned around, eyes still close.

"I'm going, see you later..." Jisoo whispered even softer.

Jennie grumbled, slowly her eyelids fluttered open, she saw Jisoo standing over her.

"Where are you going?"

"I have a morning class."

"Why?" She pouted, eyes still closed.

"I'm not skipping class."

"Do you want me to drive you?" Jennie sat up on the bed with her eyes half open, her head slumped to one side, "I don't have any class in the morning."

Jisoo tenderly patted Jennie's head, "It's okay, Jennie, you should go back to sleep."

"Why do you call me Jennie," Jennie pouted and plopped down on the bed, she put on the blanket over her shoulder and she closed her eyes again.

Jisoo giggled, "What do you mean, it's your name."

"That's not how it works, Einstein, I'm now your girlfriend," she mumbled, "Honey bunny, baby, sweetie pie, pumpkin, my cherry, sugarplum, jellybean... Pick one..."

"Okay... um... baby?" Jisoo suddenly felt giddy, "Baby bear Jen..."

"Um hmm..." Jennie smiled with her eyes closed, "Okay my baby Chu... Now come give me kiss... No... On the lips... Again... Baby come here again... Ugh.. Why do you have to go, can't we just cuddle... Fuck em gravity and Newton... and his friend Galileo..."

Jennie woke up feeling like the luckiest girl on earth. In just a night, everything had changed for the better. She let out the biggest smile.

There was meal and a note on the countertop; so she had her brunch before getting ready for university. She went to Jisoo's closet. Jisoo didn't have a whole lot in her closet, probably she kept most of her clothes back home.

"Aww... Looks like she left in a hurry this morning..." Jennie gave the closet a quick tidy-up, folding and organizing the clothes to make the space look a little better.

"A girlfriend duty..." She mumbled to herself, a rosy blush spread across her cheeks.

Today's weather was better than yesterday, Jennie decided she wouldn't need to layer excessively. While browsing for something to wear, she found a small pile of clothes that had been shoved behind the neatly folded clothes. She reached out and felt the fine garment on the touch.

Jennie took them out. Most of them were knits and basic long-sleeve shirts. She also found a cable knit sweater and a cashmere-blend cardigan. Jennie searched the corner and she found a single-breasted coat made of fine wool. There was also a pair or gloves and scarf with similar color and design.

Jennie checked the brands, she ran her fingers on the fabrics. The labels had not been removed. She was sure these were authentic pieces. She'd never seen Jisoo wear any of these clothes, or anything similar at all.

They might be something university students would wear-- the color and style didn't particularly stand out -- but she was familiar with these bands. They were definitely not the brands average student would recognize; and these were not the garments everyone could afford.

Besides, they didn't look like something Jisoo would wear. Jisoo would prefer something more relax, sometimes slightly oversized, and not too structured.

Are these her crazy gifts for me? I know that 'giving gifts' is my girlfriend's love language but isn't it too much??? Where the hell did she get the money from? Is this why she asked me to wait for three more days?

Still, she didn't think these were gifts Jisoo would get her; Jisoo would prefer to give something of meaning; like the pedant and charm. She thought about it for a while and then decided to put them back to where she found them.

Back on browsing her girlfriend's wardrobe, Jennie finally decided to go with the yellow hoodie that Jisoo often used.

She smiled because it smelt just like Jisoo. As she put it on, she felt like Jisoo was hugging her warmly.

Today is going to be a good day!
