Avantika faked a smile when Anvay squeezed her waist yet another time, it's been half an hour of them entering the reception hall. It's hella boring for her all they were talking about business. She kept tapping her nails on the table being bored. She wanted to leave his side as soon as possible.
To her badluck Aarav went out of the country from some important work he couldn't able to attend their reception but promised he'll make up for it as soon he land back to the country. She hated being here and specially when her so called husband was holding her so close to his body. If you all will excuse me for a moment she stated politely smiling toward the older couple who smiled back nodding their head in agreement.
Finally she pulled herself out from his arms making him feel the sense of emptiness but he didn't show that. When she was about to went away someone pushed her away rather jumped on her husband like a hungery bull.
The girl wearing red her blonde hair waving in air as she clung her arms around Anvay literally jumping up and down in excitement. "Oh My God Anvay How are you baby I missed you so so much" she squealed finally breaking herself apart from him who was shocked.
But Avantika wasn't, she expected this anyway it's the fourth girl of the night who jumped on her husband like it's her own. Rolling her eyes Avantika dismissed herself the older couple gave her sympathetic smile which was enough to felt distressed.
This was first time she felt so low in some social gathering generally she avoids them but still when her father threateneds her to accompany she do and stay at the corner without interacting with anyone but today she felt insulted surrounded by whole luxurious and superior people.
Yup she felt so small, inferior around them. Sighing she set on the stool near bar, ordering her drink. Finally when it arrived she began sipping it she glanced at her husband he was now talking to one of his business partners and the girl who was clinging to him a few seconds ago was making her way toward Avantika
She groaned inwardly cursing her fate. Here comes another.." Avantika ? Right?" The Bimbo in red flashed her cheap dollar fake smile to which Avantika didn't react and turned her head into sipping her drink ignoring the woman's presence but if only she let her.
"Hello I'm Selina Anvay's very close friend" she chimed and sat beside the stool next to her. "You know your husband is so f*cking good in bed. You're one lucky chick to be his personal..slu- "I'm not you Melina" Avantika cut her boringly now ringing her finger on the rim of her glass.
" It's Selina " Selina said with a tight smile "Oops sorry my bad I don't ought to remember people or their names when they are nothing but just some crap to me " Avantika stated not even glancing at the woman who's now fuming but she somehow composed herself. She's here to make her look superior and prove Avantika that she's nothing but a trophy wife and her husband only belongs to her.
"..Tsk so bad I guess you hadn't yet shared bed with your own husband..oh wait let me guess he might himself make it clear to you that you'll never be his choice right?" Selina mocked Avantika inside rose up with fury she tightened her fist, clenching her jaw she suppressed her anger.
"I don't want to be one for starters " Avantika replied only to get Selina laughed at her mockingly she somehow began to lose her confidence here in this crowd." It's not even about what you want or not. It's about you not having any right on your own husband he is busy beding other women ignoring you think what people will say? Do you know the day you were about to get married he was making love to me. And I bet you he's going to my place tonight leaving you all alone here among dozens of unknown people. I mean just look at you " Selina taunted looking at Avantika's body up and down with that disgusting glance simply stating her disapproval about her appearance.
"You're so fat and not even have attractive face so that your husband will even want you in bed" Avantika wasn't an zero figure lady she had fats but that's what natural about her. Every woman has their own part of beauty and no matter whatever body or shape they belongs to they are attractive and beautiful.
Everyone should accept and appreciate that but then we have woman like Selina in our society to criticize every beautiful things. " I know I deserve that man more than you " Selina whispered near her ear smirking.
Avantika kept her face lack of any emotion even though from inside her word gave her new insecurities. She stared straight into Selina eyes "Do what ever you feel like doing why are even telling me that? Wanna f*ck him you're most welcome who am I to stop you or him? Wanna get pregnant go ahead I'm no one to concern about anything. Just because I'm his wife doesn't make me want him to be there. Feeling matters and rest assure I'm never going to have any feelings for that man. Go ahead" Avantika got up and raised her wine glass toward Selina gulping it down in one go she turned on her heels but stopped and again turned back giving a sly smile she bent down to Selina 's level " You're right you surely deserve that man after all a characterless woman suits with an assh*le of a cheater" with Selina teeth grinding together in anger Avantika walked straight out of exit not caring about anything.
