We are both panting for air. I am kissing her with the exag intensity I am now feeling. I raise her head a little by pulling her hair down.
"Lu-Luigi.." she moaned. Mas lalo kong nararamdaman ang init na ilan araw ko ng gustong ilabas.
I push her on the bed so I can be on top of her. Nakaangat na ang suot nitong maikling dress, nakababa na rin ang kalahati nito making her half naked. I kiss her again not wanting her to talk dahil sa totoo lang naiinis ako sa presence niya.
Naramdaman ko ang pagpasok ng kamay niya sa pantalon ko. Damn! She's really fast. I haven't realized she unbuckled it already. I started kssing her neck down to her chest. I heard her groan.
"Aah..Luigi..please.." she pleaded but I did not stop torturing her. I want her to feel how heated I am.
I unbuttoned my polo and throw it somewhere. Hinalikan ko muli siya sa labi. She wrapped her arms around my neck making me closer, giving me more access to devour her lips. Until I felt her controlling the game. She's now giving me hot kisses all over my chest not until an image came to my mind.
"Why?" She asked.
"Nothing that concerns you." I said. Panic was written on her face when I started climbing down my bed and picking up my clothes.
"Luigi. What just happened? We are about to do it right? Bakit ka huminto?" She said. I smirked at her. Magmula nang dumating siya for I don't know why ay naiinis na ako.
She is damn irritating! She really thought I will do it with her? After what she did four years ago?
"Hindi mo pa rin ba ako napapatawad? Is this all about that...that..come on Luigi! Ang tagal na nun. Why can't you just give me a chance. Us. Just give us one last try--"
"The chance was done 7 years ago or so. Alam mo kung ano tayo after mo kong iniwan noon. "
"What..what do you mean?" She asked. So wala talaga siyang idea?
"We are decades done Laureen. Tapos na tayo noon pa man. " I said. Binigyan diin ko pa ang bawat salita. Mas lalo naman itong nashock sa sinabi ko.
"Thats not true! Hindi ba dapat magpapakasal na tayo four years ago? No! You did not use me!! Luigi..sinasabi mo lang to dahil akala mo may relasyon kami ni Evan diba? Galit ka lang--"
"Of course not. Why will I get mad at you. Matagal naman na tayong tapos. Besides, hindi ba magagalit si Evan sayo dahil matapos ko kayong makita na nagsesex, sasabihin mo namang wala kayong relasyon? Lame excuse Laureen. It's not working." I said.
A very lame excuse for her. I was still attracted to her noon kaya napili kong iwan ang lahat dito sa Pilipinas para lang makasama siya. But staying with her just proved my attraction..only attraction towards her. No feelings involved. Noon ko narealized na hindi ko na siya mahal.
Before I came back here in the country, I was able to discover her dirty secret. She had a relationship with Evan Delrio. Well, more likely just a bed relationship. Delrio was one of my friends. 'Was' dahil matapos kong malaman na nililigawan niya si Laureen ay hindi ko na ito kinibo. I know that guy. He's heartless. Alam kong hindi niya mahal si Laureen.
And then came when Laureen was back. That was when the whole engagement thing happened. I didn't know she took my proposal way back in LA seriously. She showed her dad the ring I gave her. Well, I kinda proposed to her for the partnership.
Luckily nagpahuli siya sa akin. Nahuli ko sila ni Laureen and Evan sa unit mismo ni Laureen having sex. That was when I decided to call the wedding off. Pero dahil sa kahihiyang bibitbitin ng pamilya niya ay minabuti ng ama nito na lumayo kaming dalawa. Pumayag ako. I decided to go with her in America pero hindi kami magkasama. I also heard rumors na we got married pero hinayaan ko nalang. Alam ko namang pakana iyon ng daddy ni Laureen at ng stepmother kong walang ginawa kundi makialam.
Akmang tatalikod na ako nang magsalita na naman siya.
"How dare you Luigi!! Pinaasa mo ko! I thought you just moved our wedding para magkaroon ka ng space tapos..tapos it took years and then ito ang sasabihin mo sa akin? How dare you!!" She shouted at me. She threw pillows on me.
Uminit lalo ang ulo ko. I blew air out of irritation.
"Well truth really hurts. " I just said.
"Is this because of that bitch?! Mahal mo ba siya??! Did you love her?! " she asked. I did not even utter a word pero nagsimula na naman siyang magsalita at sa totoo lang malapit ko na siyang busalan. Nakakairita na.
"I swear. Hindi ko hahayaang mapunta ka sa kanya! Kung hindi lang rin sa akin, walang ibang makikinabang sayo Luigi..lalo na ang babaeng iyon!! I hate you!" She said. Tumayo na ito at pinulot narin ang mga gamit.
I remained standing. Maya-maya ay narinig ko na ang pagbagsak ng pinto. After a minute I took my key and drove myself around the city.
Nakatingin lang ako sa labas habang nagdadrive. Just looking at the bright lights in the middle of the night. I feel like I'm floating. Hindi ko ramdam na nabitin ako kanina..
When her face popped on my mind when I was making out with Laureen, hindi ko na alam kung anong nangyari. I found the urge of stopping. She's hunting me wherever and whenever.
Ilang oras din akong nagdrive lang at dito na ako napadpad sa isang sikat na bar. Dito ako makikipagkita kay Jules, my private investigator.
Umorder ako ng vodka. I was playing with my glass when I noticed a familiar face. Nakikipagtawanan ito sa marami. Ibang-iba na ang itsura nito pero kahit gaano pa kababae ang itsura nito, I know who is he. It's Didi. Why is he here? Nandito kaya si--
"Dude!" My attention was caught off when someone tapped my shoulder.
"What took you so long?" I asked Jules.
"Traffic." He said.
"Anong balita?" I asked.
"What do you want to know?"
Saglit akong napaisip.
"About the merger of Delacarte to The Empire." I said. A very safe question I guess.
"The merger is true. But regarding the marriage is not yet confirmed. I heard that Lucas and Aldea were about to be engaged when an incident happened which was the reason why Lucas has been gone for almost two years. " kumunot ang noo ko.
"What incident?" I asked.
"It's about Michelle Serna." He said. Mas lalo atang kumunot ang noo ko dahil may bigla akong naalala.
"She's Jeremy Monteverde's fiancee right? " I asked. Naalala ko noon na nabigyan ako ng invitation card para sa wedding nila.
"Yes. 4 years ago. But as you can see, Jeremy is now happily married with Adana Seagull, sister of Lucas.."
Now this is interesting. What could have happened para maging ganoon ang nangyari? As much as I want to know, there is something that seems bothering me.
" So that explains why I have seen them both sa party last night. "
"Yes. Actually Adana and Jeremy left for Germany at kababalik lang din nila kasama ang mga anak nila. A 6 year-old boy and a 2 year-old girl." I don't care with them actually but something caught my attention.
"2 year old girl?" I asked. I remember the little girl Samantha' was carrying last night.
"Yes. 2 years old. Bakit?" Jules asked. I don't know why I felt relieved when I realized maybe the little girl I saw was Monteverde's daughter.
" You followed Sam---Aldea right? May nalaman ka ba?" I asked.
"Now I'm getting curious. Why do you want to know about your ex right now? Ang sabi mo diba galit ka sa pamilya niya? I even remember when you almost killed Skyler nang malaman mong muntik nang marape si Samantha dahil siya ang--"
"It's part of history. Let's not go back there. Gusto ko lang malaman kung anong balak niya this time. I know she's up for a revenge "
Napailing nalang si Jules at inisang lagok ang vodka bago muling magsalita.
"Mukhang wala naman siyang plano sayo. I heard from her secretary that she signed for a leave for 3 days. Nagpabook pa raw ito ng flight sa Hawaii."
"With Lucas?" I asked.
"That's quite impossible. Kauumpisa palang ni Lucas sa kompanya kaya hindi ito aalis nalang basta."
"Then with who?" I asked. I found myself gulping for I don't know why. Maybe because I am anticipating for a good answer.
"You won't believe this dude! Kahit ako nahihiwagaan. I don't know what to assume.."
"Damn it! Just answer me!" I almost shouted. I could feel my heart beating fast. My hand is gripping my glass without me noticing it.
"She'll be flying to Hawaii with two kids."
Two kids? Anak niya? With Lucas?
"Pare! Saan ka pupunta?!" I heard Jules shouted when I was standing off my seat.
"I have a flight to book." I answered.
