(Language warning in this one boi...)
(Small time skip) So after we got back, and after the boys got scolded by Sanji for putting us 'women' in danger, we searched for the South Bird while the distant relative of Noland helped prepare our ship to get to Skypiea. I won't go into all the details, but let's just say, I was with Robin, who was being super morbid and scary the whole time, and the South Bird is a bitch. I'll leave you at that.
And now we are Sailing with the Scavenger ships to the place where something will appear. I'll be honest, I'm not that open about going up that high...
As if she heard my thoughts, robin cheerily told me how high the island truly is.
"You know, the Sky Island is a little over 10,000 meters in the sky." She said, walking up next to me and grinning beside me.
"Thanks, Robin, now I'm gonna piss myself." I retorted, causing Robin and Zoro to laugh. Wait where did Zoro come from-
"There it is!" Luffy shouted from across the ship, on the masthead. Zoro and I booked it to the front of the ship, nervous yet excited. I was mainly nervous.
"Hey Zoro," I called to him as we approached the masthead, "How are we getting up there anyway?"
"...I'm assuming that!" He yells over the wind and rain that has started.
I look towards the-" HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT?!"
There is a tornado-looking tube of water in front of us, and it's pULLING US IN!!!
"WAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Usopp and I yell, finding our way to each other and holding on for dear life.
"IS IT TOO LATE TO GO BACK?!" Usopp yells to Nami, who looks equally as scared.
"I DON'T THINK THE IDIOT CAPTAIN WILL LET US!" She shouts back.
"AND W-WE'RE GOING UP THAT?!" I barely get the words out. I feel a limb sprout from my back and pat my shoulder. I hear one final sentence and feel more limbs sprout before I black out from fear... It's Usopp's words.
"ROBIN! HOLD (Y/N) TO THE SHIP SHE JUST FAinte..." and then it all went black...
...I hate heights...
~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up on a couch in a house. Last I remember, I was not in a house when I passed out, so I shouldn't be here.
"Hey (Y/N)!"
"ACK-!" I jump up from hearing my name and get into a defensive stance on the couch...
...before toppling off the back onto the floor.
"Shishishi! (Y/N) Is kinda dumb!"
"OI-! Wait, I know that laugh... Luffy?" I say, getting up from behind the couch, rubbing my head.
"Hey!" He cheers at me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Luffy, where are we, and what happened?" I say in a more serious tone.
"We made it up the Knock-up Stream and made it to the Sky Island, where we met Conis-chan and her Father." I look down to See Robin sitting where my head was. I process the information, waving to Conis in the process. I suddenly put two and two together, remembering the limbs wrapping around me before passing out, then waking up on a soft pillow. Robin saved me, then I passed out and woke up... In her lap... (bisexual panik)
Robin could tell I realized it, considering how red my face got.
"Woah, (Y/N)'s all red!" Luffy yells, still on my shoulder, which makes me even more flushed.
"WHAT?! Does she need a Doctor?! DOCTOR! Oh wait, I'm a doctor!" Chopped exclaims, hopping his way over to me. Robin laughs and gets up from her spot on the couch. My eyes follow her, though not as secretive as I'd like.
"You're welcome, (Y/N)." She says in a sweet tone. She walks out of the building followed by Luffy and Zoro. I don't know why they left, but they did. The Only ones left in the house were Sanji, Conis and her Father, Chopper, and Myself. I looked outside and saw that only Robin, Zoro, Usopp, and Luffy were outside. I turned to Chopper, who was still checking if I was sick.
"Chop, where did Nami go?" I ask as he puts his stiff back in his tiny medical bag.
"Oh, she went on something called a Waver!" He responded, and it was obvious he didn't understand what a Waver was.
"A Waver?" I ask myself.
"It's a machine similar to a bike, but powered by the wind for the landscape of this island." Conis jumps in, followed by Sanji with plates of food for all 4 of us.
"Wow, that's cool! So Nami took that where?"
"Dunno. She just went off, and we haven't heard from her since she left. It's starting to worry me." Sanji chimes in.
"I agree. Especially with our crew, I don't feel comfortable without a person capable of navigation." I agree, looking down at the little bento box I've received from Sanji. There are little hearts of food in there, but I think it's adorable. I start to eat, but almost choke on my food when we heard a yell from Luffy.
"Hey, guys! Come down here!"
"JESUS LUFFY YOU SCARED ME!" I yell out the window. He laughs and we all head down to the beach where the rest of the crew (minus Nami) was.
As we were walking down the stairs to the house, I nudged Sanji and pointed to the strange men in white and blue approaching our crew...on the ground? I think they're army-crawling.
"Keep your guard up. This doesn't look good."
He nods in response and we recollect with our group.
I'll spare you all the excruciatingly boring details, but basically, these guys are the White berets, the lowest form of law enforcement on Angel Island. They explain we're criminals for not paying the entrance fee, and if we pay the entrance fee x10, we won't be criminals anymore.
What I've obviously put together, is that there is a different currency in the Sky Islands, and converted to berry, we most likely didn't have enough to start with. There's no way we can pay x10 if we couldn't afford the original price.
The crew starts to ignore the White Berets until they start charging us for everything! Hell, they charged Zoro for snoring. How ridiculous is that?
Eventually, Nami comes back, and since she is our Navigator/Treasurer, she tells the White Berets to go away as she huddles the rest of the Straw Hats in close. The White Berets don't leave. In fact, they eavesdrop and charge all of us for going near the place called Upper yard, or something like that. Nami apparently wants to leave because she watched a man get murdered on the island she saw.
"So this Upper whatever is the only actual land in Skypiea?" I ask, looking at Nami on my left and Usopp on my right.
"Seems like it..." He says, nervously.
"Well, then I suggest we stray away from there as long as possible," All of the Straw hats were listening now, "We know nothing and it's dangerous to go in blind. If we have to go, we should go on foot, but I don't recommend going at all, let alone going without a buddy." I saw the last part directed to Luffy and Zoro.
"You're the strategist." Robin says, getting up from our little huddle, looking towards the White Berets, "So, what are we going to do about the White Berets, Captain?"
As I expected, a fight ensues. I and Nami stand in the back, not wanting to fight.
"Whatever just in case we do go to God's place, I'm going to grab my bag and change my clothes," I say, heading towards the Merry. My clothes were still damp from the rain before we took the Knock-up stream.
"I'll head with you, I don't wanna be alone," Nami says, catching up to me.
We board the Merry and about 5 minutes later, we head to the top deck, hearing others board. There was no fighting and the White Berets were fleeing.
"Great, now we will be in even more trouble with the Police of this island!" Nami groans, as I chuckle.
"Well, we are pirates..." I say chuckling.
From what I see, Nami, Zoro, Chopper, Robin, and I are on the Merry. I decided to yell for the last three to get on the boat. I lean over the edge, feeling another presence appear with Nami.
"Hey, guys! Hurry up-WOAH!"
All of the sudden, the boat was moving. I almost flew overboard if it wasn't for Zoro, the presence I felt approaching earlier. He pulled me back onto the boat but didn't let go of my collar. I started looking around and saw that everyone I counted on the ship was there. I turned and pointed to the sides of the ship.
"What are those huge lobster things?!" I screech, pointing to the massive purple lobsters carrying the sides of the boat. Almost all of us besides Chopper was used to the speed of the boat. We all stood, looking for where the Boat was going.
"Nami isn't this the way you went on the Waver?!" I yell over the wind, getting the attention on me. She nods and I speak again, "So of what I have, this God guy is mad, and that Upper whatever is his home. Nami went this way to go there, and we are being taken there by force." The rest of them could put it together at this point.
I turn to where we are headed and I'm a little nervous, "I advise everyone to be on guard, we are about to enter a strong foe's territory, and he wants us to, so the element of surprise is out." I shout so the others can hear me.
~~~
Welp, this sucks...
We ended up on this random pedestal in the middle of actual land. Real dirt and rocks. The true island in the sky. And Zoro almost dies fighting a sky-shark. It was cool, I won't lie, but he could've died, and that's not cool.
We all, because no one listens to me, end up splitting up. Well, I and Chopper split up from the group. I wanted to look around at this island for clues on how it got here, or something about this God guy. God is a person you cannot interact with physically. There is no way this guy is a god. Just a power-hungry human who hasn't seen anyone stronger. The group of Nami, Robin, and Zoro left me and Chopper on the ship to watch it.
I didn't want to seem like a hypocrite, but I did want to learn more about this place. I find Chopper on the top deck near the vine, waving goodbye to the other three.
"Hey Chop, do you think you can cover the Merry on your own? I'm thinking of exploring for like, 10 minutes."
"I can, but why didn't you just go with the others?"
"I don't know. I think I think better when it's quiet. And with the amount that Nami was freaking out, I have a hunch that I won't be able to think." I chuckle at the last part and Chopper laughs.
"Yea (Y/N), I can watch the ship on my own, just promise me you won't be gone for very long."
"I promise, but If something eats me or kills me, I can't make any promises~!" I say, teasingly.
"WAH! (Y/N) Don't say that!" He freaked out. I tugged on the vine, making sure it was secure and swung to the same side the others went to. I make my way opposite the group and start my journey. By the time about 5 minutes passed, I was a good ways away from the Merry, and I wasn't terribly comfortable with it.
I kept walking, taking pieces of plants and bark that looked exotic and stuffing them in my backpack. I feel a strange pair of eyes on me. Since we entered the 'forest' now that I think about it. But now, it felt stronger, like as if before, it was watching through a camera, and now watching in person. I approached a weird rock with etchings on the side. It was obviously carved by a human and in English, so nothing special.
The end of the sentence carved into this rock was dragged on as if they couldn't finish. That's not creepy at all. The rock explained the ability these 'Priests' have. Something called Mantra. Basically, they can see a little into the future, while the main guy or 'God' can use that and watch over all of Skypiea at once.
That must be where the 'God' part comes in. I studied the rock about the size of my hand into my bag, though it barely fits, and kept walking alongside the river. This 'God''s power, or know known as Eneru, must be what I was feeling when we entered the forest. The only thing that scared me is that, why was it stronger now than I was alone. I shivered at the thought and walked faster.
Faster than I could see, a flash of a person went in front of me. The image of a tall man flickered in my vision, as if moving too fast, then disappeared as soon as it came. The Image was a man, a really tall man, and he had only pants and something around his shoulders. He also had something long hanging from his ears.
And that's my queue to head back to Chopper. I start heading back until I feel an arm slither its way around my waist in a tight hold. I struggle in its hold until it slingshots me backward, over the river. I scream on my way so loud, that I'm sure even God himself heard me. (pun intended)
I hit whatever grabbed me with a thud and fell to surprisingly hard ground. The rest of the forest didn't feel this hard and flat. I open my eyes and see two familiar faces looking at me. One has a straw hat and the other has a long nose.
"Usopp! Luffy!" I whip my head around and spot Sanji, "Sanji! You're all here!" I jeer, hugging Usopp and Luffy at the same time.
"Hey (Y/N)/ Sup!" The two in my hold respond at the same time.
"This is good, that means the Merry is close, is that right (Y/N) my sweet?" Sanji turned to look at me.
"Yes! It's just up this river, straight ahead!"
"It's nice to see you here (Y/N)! We thought you all died! ShiShiShi!!" Luffy chuckles to himself. He receives two hits. One from Usopp and myself.
"DON'T JOKE ABOUT THAT!" We screech, causing him to laugh even harder.
We approach the Merry and It's an absolute wreck. I feel bad for leaving...
The others who went off are also back, looking better than when they left. It's nice to have everyone here...
