Strolling at the city center:
"Oh..." Jennie gasped.
The snow was falling.
13th of December, it was Seoul first snow.
"Oh!" Jisoo exclaimed. Who would've thought that the day could get even better?
Jennie held out her arm to touch the falling snow, it tickled, then the flakes melted in her palm. She looked at Jisoo, who had this winsome smile plastered on her face. She looked up to the sky, feeling the first snow with her beautiful face.
Mesmerizing, this sight of Jisoo...
Jennie silently enjoyed the view. Jisoo had been working hard lately, she had to maintain her perfect grades to make sure she still got full ride for the next semester. But seeing her like this right now, seemed like the snow just washed her weariness away.
Jennie reached out to Jisoo's hand, it was warm on hers. Jisoo looked at her, all blushing from the snow that fell on her face.
Jisoo boldly squeezed her hand, her smile turned placid.
Only in Korea, the first snow was always special. They said your wish would come true and all lies would be forgiven. So the girls silently made their wishes, or rather a wish, for their hearts had agreed to only one thing.
"Jennie," Jisoo's eyes now bored into hers, "After the exams, I have something to tell you..."
Jennie's heart dropped to her stomach.
Jisoo looked at her for silent second, then squeezed her hand even tighter, before continuing her words, "For the meantime, I hope you can concentrate on your exams and ace them all."
The falling snow was like a blurred slow motion in her eyes. Jennie tried to maintain her composure.
Two weeks, Jennie... It's coming. She's coming to you.
Jennie gave a soft smile, she brought herself closer to Jisoo.
"Okay..." she whispered.
Then she landed a peck on Jisoo's cheek, let it linger for a good few seconds as her breath warmed the other girl's skin. Jisoo's breath hitched and suddenly Jennie found her grasp on her hand had lost its strength.
Jennie liked it when she made Jisoo powerless.
She slightly moved her face, now her lips on top of Jisoo's ear, she whispered, "I'll be waiting, Kim Jisoo."
And with that, she pulled herself away and led Jisoo back to the car.
