Katrina's pov
"I warned you right?" I dropped my last bag at the end of the stairs.
"You've warned me five times already."
"I just want to make sure you're listening so you know that whatever happens it's your fault."
"Ok I'll take the blame for everything." Harry nodded, smiling a little.
"Wooo! We're going camping!" Louis burst through my front door, throwing his hands up before wrapping them around me in a hug, twirling me around.
"Woah woah woah please keep me in the ground at all times. The ground is my friend." I held on to him tightly.
"Sorry." He chuckled. "I'm a little excited."
"Ok put my girlfriend down and help me put her stuff in the van." Harry dragged him away to the pile of stuff Harry helped me pack the night before.
"I'll let you guys take care of that so I'm going to go say hi to the other guys. Have fun." I quickly jogged out of there since Harry decided to be a little overprotective and we overpacked just a tad bit so I didn't want to carry all that stuff. Liam was in the driver's seat with Zayn in the passenger seat looking at a map.
Niall was on his phone in the back sitting in all of the equipment and bags with a frown on his face.
"You don't look happy." I said sitting next to Niall and immediately knowing why. "Oww ok I know why. This is very uncomfortable. Why are you sitting on the stuff?" I giggled.
"Harry and Louis called dibs and there was no where else to sit so I guess you and me have to suffer."
"Wonderful." I replied sarcastically, making him smile.
"Katrina! Which way is west? Zayn won't listen to me."
"Liam I'm telling you it's this way!" Zayn pointed out the window.
"Looks like we won't be getting there anytime soon." I laughed. Soon Harry and Louis hopped into the van.
"Let's go!" Louis yelled.
Twenty minutes into the trip my butt couldn't take it anymore.
"Ok my butt is starting to hurt I can't sit here anymore." I hopped off and Niall shook his head.
"You are weak. Just leaving me here."
"I'm sorry." I tried to hold back my laugh. I waddled over to Harry, tripping a couple times.
"Can I sit on your lap?" I pouted.
"Come here." He patted his lap. I sat down awkwardly, not knowing how to get comfortable.
"Are we almost there yet?" Niall whined.
"Almost we'll be there in 15 minutes." Liam replied confidently, but 30 minutes later we were in the middle of nowhere.
"What the hell happened to 'we'll be there in 15 minutes'?" Niall started laughing.
"Ok 10 minutes I swear this time I'm right." Liam said. I like over at Harry and he was shaking his head.
"I don't know why we put those two I charge of directions." He chuckled.
"As long as we get there. That's all that matters." I replied smiling.
As promised 10 minutes later we pulled up to a camp site.
"Oh my god sweet land." Niall said shaking his legs out.
"Let's put up tents!" Liam said excited as he started unpacking the van.
"This is going to be interesting." I chuckled.
"I say we just stand and watch." Harry suggested smiling back.
"Excellent idea." I nodded and we watched the boys unfold the tents with confused expressions and almost decapitating each other with the sticks.
"When do you think we should help?"
"Wait a little bit longer. This is actually pretty funny." Harry looked down at me before we both started laughing.
After seeing them struggle for a few minutes longer I got up and helped them. Having gone camping before, putting up a tent wasn't as hard for me.
"You should have helped us sooner." Louis said with a sassy attitude.
"But it was so funny watching you guys try." I laughed. Louis mocked me, scoffing at my enjoyment of their suffering.
By the time we settled down, the sun had set and Liam and Louis had gone looking for firewood. I sat on Harry's lap again, wanting to be close since it was getting chilly. His arms wrapped around my waist and he rested his chin on my shoulder. Liam and Louis came back and started a fire, warning us up. We we all pretty quiet for a while just listening to the burning logs crackle and the leaves rustling in the wind, an occasional hoot from an owl as well.
"The sky is amazing." Zayn finally whispered. We looked up and I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside seeing the beautiful stars out and bright. Everything was so clear and easy to see. I looked over at Harry, a big smile on his face and I couldn't help but stare at him. He seemed so lost in the moment looking at something beautiful and I couldn't help but think he was beautiful too. Everything about him was beautiful and I felt myself fall for him. I had fallen in love with him and I didn't know how to admit it to myself or him.
