Jisoo spent the rest of the day to recover. She wanted to gained her health back so she can talk with Jennie about what happened last Sunday.
Lisa was with her the whole day. She was busy texting with someone.
"Lisa, I am now feeling better. You should go home and rest. You just got back from your trip."
"Shh shut up."
"Who you're texting with?"
"Rosay..." Lisa said with her small voice.
"Rosé?" Jisoo was surprised, "That's great. Tell me!"
"I had a short conversation with your Jennie when I took her downstairs," Lisa explained while texting, "You know Irene?"
"Yes. She was my group mentor. Why?"
"Is she pretty?"
"She is divine."
"Are you kidding me?" Lisa panicked, "Yeah I actually saw her Instagram. She posted this picture of her with Rosé. She seemed like a pretty girl."
"And how is Jennie involved in this?"
"She said Rosé is now close with Irene!"
"Oh no!"
"I gotta claim back my LOML. Shit..."
"I am sorry Lisa..." Jisoo apologized, "This is all because of me..."
"Stop inserting yourself," Lisa rolled her eyes, "It is what it is. I don't regret that I defended you."
Lisa said it flatly, but her words hit hard on Jisoo. She's grateful that she has Lisa. There are friends, there are lovers, but it's hard to find a best friend. Someone who knows you well and still choose to be by your side. She's like a sister to Jisoo. A twin to be exact.
"Lisa come here and give me a hug..." Jisoo felt emotional.
"No gay." Lisa said, still texting.
"You're gay."
"But not with you."
Jisoo chuckled. She then left Lisa alone with her phone and she went back to sleep.
I need to see Jennie tomorrow...

The next morning, Lisa came to see Jisoo at her apartment.
"Jennie didn't text me last night." Jisoo pouted.
Lisa rolled her eyes.
"She promised to text me." Jisoo added.
"Maybe she thought you still need rest. She probably didn't want to disturb you."
"I will go to her house after breakfast." Jisoo said.
"Are you kidding me?" Lisa checked Jisoo's temperature, she didn't have fever anymore.
"But aren't you still feeling weak?" Lisa asked.
Jisoo was still feeling weak, she had tried her best to rest as much as possible, took her medicines diligently and ate her meals on schedule; but she still needed time to be fully recovered.
"I will just see her briefly and I will go home and rest."
Lisa looked at her worriedly. When her best friend is being this stubborn, nothing can stop her.
"I will take you there."
"To her house? No. You don't need to."
"I'll take you there or I won't allow you to go."
"Okay." Jisoo smiled hesitantly at Lisa, "Thank you."

They were driving to Jennie's house at around 9. Jisoo looked at the time, she was actually disappointed that she couldn't be there at 8 like her usual schedule.
"Have you prepared your apology to Jennie?" Lisa was nervous for Jisoo.
"I have." Jisoo looked tense.
"Remember Jisoo, you have to say yes to all her complaints..."
"Okay..." Jisoo listened wholeheartedly.
"When she blames you for everything, don't argue..."
"Right..."
"When she's being illogical, remember, she's right and you're wrong, so just accept it."
"I understand..."
"Repeat after me, 'Yes Jennie...'"
"Yes Jennie..."
"'I was wrong and you were right'"
"I was wrong and you were right."
"Don't screw it, dumbass."
"I won't..."
Jisoo listened carefully to Lisa as if her whole life depends on it.
She still felt feverish, her head was still heavy and her body was still weak. She tried not to show it on her face, she didn't want Lisa to turn around and locked her in her room so she could rest.
***
At around 10 AM Jennie got a text from Jisoo, it was the usual template:
Jennie, it's Jisoo.
but with: I am downstairs.
Jennie was shocked, she rushed to the window and she saw Jisoo and Lisa were outside. What the fuck Kim Jisoo?
She grabbed her tinted lip balm and put it on. Where the fuck my face cream? Here it is... Oh shit... She put a little bit powder and took care of the rest of the makeup lightly and brushed her hair in a rush, she had no time.
She put on a neutral-colored blouse, it was simple yet feminine and she put on her fitted white jeans.
She looked at herself on the mirror; she felt pretty. She went downstairs. Before she opened the front door, she calmed herself down and regulated her breath.
"Jennie?" Jisoo looked relieved, "Thanks for seeing me."
"Hi..." Jennie said to Jisoo and they stared at each other for a moment.
"Hi Jennie!" Lisa interrupted.
"Oh and hi Lisa." Jennie smiled to her.
"Jisoo insisted that she has to see you today. So I took her here."
"Why are you here, Jisoo?" Jennie said worriedly to Jisoo, "Don't you think you need more rest?"
"I am fine," Jisoo said, "Can we talk? Now?"
Jennie looked at her face, she looked nervous, seemed like this meant a lot to her.
"Okay." Jennie raised her eyebrows and gave Jisoo a soft look.
"Okay, I am leaving." Lisa said, then she whispered to Jisoo, "Remember what we rehearsed in the car. Good luck!"
"Thanks Lisa..." Jisoo said, her mouth was dry.
"Bye Jennie."
"Bye Lisa. Thank you."
They waited until Lisa left, then Jisoo looked at Jennie, "Let's go somewhere, I will get the car."
"Let me drive this time." Jennie said.
"But-"
"No but. You're still recovering. I am driving." She asked the assistant to get her car ready and she took the car keys.
"Hop in." Jennie ordered, Jisoo reluctantly sat at the passenger seat beside Jennie. She pouted.
"Don't pout." Jennie started the car as she stole a glance at Jisoo.
Jisoo un-pouted herself. She wanted to drive Jennie, not the other way round.
"Where are we going to?" Jennie asked Jisoo.
"Let's go to the park by the river where we usually go. I will buy you an ice cream." Jisoo said as if Jennie wouldn't want to go there with her if there was no ice cream involved.
Jennie suddenly remembered when Jisoo was delirious, she wanted to take her for an ice cream. Has she planned this before she was sick?
"Uhm.. okay." Jennie cleared her throat, "How are you feeling?"
Jisoo was about to answer that she's feeling nervous but she realized that Jennie was asking about her fever, "Better."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." Jisoo looked at Jennie who was driving, She liked her blouse and her hair. Also her soft face.
She missed her. It was crazy how she missed her.
