Suna wasn't pleased to see his dad's number flash across his screen. His face said so to you. It didn't make you feel any less awkward. Suna growled at his screen of his phone. You noticed he was picking up, only staring at it.

"Are you going to answer?" You asked. You knew you didn't belong between him and his daddy issues, but he seemed almost dazed while glaring at his phone.

"No... I hate that man. There's no reason for him to call suddenly." He pressed decline on his screen, packing his phone into his pocket again.

"It could be a emergency...what if-"

"No." He said firmly. "I don't want to talk to him right now. If it's that important he'll text me to let me know about it. Otherwise, I'll ignore him."

Though you didn't like what he was saying, you weren't about to pressure him into making that call to his dad. If it had been you mom, you knew you would had picked up. You wouldn't really have a choice, she'd just call over and over until you accepted the incoming call. Annoying, but she was your mother.

"It's fine. Go back to eating. Enjoy your meal." He said simply, voice a lot calmer now. He was settling back down, his face less red.

"Suna, can I ask you something?" You asked, some concern somewhere in your tone.

The concern was choking Suna up. "That was a question..." He wished he hadn't said that, it sounded a bit rude. Though it was the truth.

You chuckled. "Ok. If you dislike being a pilot so much, why not just quit? You dad can't make you stay a pilot. You could work on tech stuff then." What you said you felt proud in. You felt like you could really solve his problems, or come close. You didn't see a way to fix his daddy issues right then, it could come to you later.

"Who said I dislike being a pilot? Sure planes aren't up my alley but it pays. And if I quit, I'd probably have to go to collage again. I'm not up for that. Because of people like Tendo, ya know? They make me uncomfortable" Then he switched it. "School in subject makes me uncomfortable. I don't care for it. Being a pilot is fine for me, just not my dream per say. I'll be fine."

"Ah...ok. That makes sense." You said. Dozing off to your thoughts to confirm. Did it? He wouldn't quit his job to follow his dream, what he loved like how you did. His reason? School and crackheads. Not a very good one in your opinion. This isn't your choice. You ended up telling yourself.

"Do you do anything else for fun? Besides making me banana bread and flying?" He asked.

You realized he wanted to walk away from the work and daddy issues area of his life. You couldn't say you disliked that idea.

"Well..." You recalled you had no life. No life besides flying. "I might sometimes go on walks...sometimes. Maybe not. Not a huge runner though." You confessed. "I don't do much. Pilot work is stressful as it is." A hand made its way to the back of your head. "I do have a Instagram account. Not that I'm famous or again like that."

Suna eyed you as you spoke about yourself, grunted in response. "I should get your Instagram name then, follow you."

You giggled. The numbness of your surroundings seemed to fade as quickly as it arrived. You told him your account name. Suna took out his phone and typed it in.

"This you?" He showed you a Instagram profile picture on his screen.

You nodded. "Yes, that's mine."

"I'll follow you..." His voice trailed off as he pressed on his screen, touching the word follow. "You post any good looking pictures of yourself? Like bikini photos..." He scrolled through the pictures of you.

Your face was met with blush. "Wha- No! Suna, that's gross!" You yelled at him, a big grin on your lips. A matching one on Suna's.

He laughed. "I was only joking. Unless you did have one, then it'll be cool." His eyes turned away from his phone. "Just saying." A evil smirk plastered on his good looking face.

"Ugh. Can we not talk about my Instagram anymore?" You sighed.

"Sure. You can tell me about your first miserable day of middle school instead or something. Tell me something embarrassing about your life."

You peered down at your hands, not needing to gaze at him to know that he was keeping his evil smirk.

"You've gone mad." You said. You gave in to his nosy behavior when he stared at you with those pretty green eyes. "Fine." You began scanning your memories for something embarrassing. "Back in elementary school," You stared.

"Oh, elementary . This will be a good one." Suna got seated more comfortably on the forest floor.

Your heart suddenly raced. "Um, I had a school play we had to do. I had one of the important roles...lucky me. In elementary school, I had stage fright." You giggled at your own story telling. "My mum suggested to practice my lines on the stage when no one was there. And so I did... I practiced for forever, or it felt like it. I wasn't looking around at the seats or where the audience would set, my teacher told us not to bother because looking at the audience wasn't natural too. But I did, to see how'd it look after I'd done some of my lines. And there was a gut there, a kid from my school. He shouted 'nice! Keep going (Y/n)! Keep it up and you'll be actor when you're older.' I felt really embarrassed that he'd been there the whole time without me knowing. I was a shy kid and I didn't say anything to him...I just ran back to the back stage and cried." You laughed the creeping up embarrassment off your chest, your tried too.

Suna wasn't laughing. You thought the story might've been to boring for him.

"I wanna punch that kid." He said with a monotone of voice.

You were taken back by his bluntness.

"How dare he watch you while you practice and trying to get over your stage fright." Then he busted a gut laughing promptly. "I'm sorry, that story was just kind of funny." His hand went to cover up his mouth from laughing so much.

You smiled at him. "Well, it wasn't might to be a sad one." You chuckled. "Your turn. Tell me something stupid you did when you were younger."

He shook his head, a smiled still on his lips. "No. I don't do stupid story time. That would be lame, and I'm not lame."

You fake pouted, crossing your arms. "You had me tell one! It's unfair if you get away with not doing one!" You cried.

Still, Suna shook his head back and forth.

"Tell me! I know you must've did something embarrassing once."

"Ah, there was a girl in middle school," He randomly brought it up. He must've accepted your request of a dumb memory of his. "I liked her. I was dumb and had 0 IQ guys for friends. They told me to ask her out. They said I would be one of the coolest guys in school if I dated someone. Now that I think about it, why would any middle school girl date me? Why would any middle schooler date at all? I personally think that's too young, but like I said, I was very dumb. I went through with it. After class one day I told my friends what I was about to do and I...um, I asked her out to have lunch with me tomorrow at my table at school."

You giggled. "Did you really have your first date in middle school, like in in middle school?" The giggling wouldn't stop flowing from your mouth.

He was wearing a snarky grin too. "No, no. I never did get that date."

Your eyes widened. "She said no? But Suna-"

"She said yes...but she didn't show up."

You listened more intently. Your eyes couldn't be any wider. "Did she stand you up? That brat. I wanna punch her!" You joked around, then stopped talking to hear the rest of Suna's story.

"No. It was more of my friend's doing. After the girl said yes, I just weirdly asked her if she wanted me to walk her home. Before I went to walk her home that day, I told my brainless friends that she told me yes. They said how jealous they were... I walked her home, then I went back to my place. Next day I went to school happy, which is hella unlike me. I said hi to her and she gave me a disgusted look like I'd told her to jump off a cliff and die. She even smacked me."

You bit back a 'WHAT?'.

"I didn't find out why until I met up with my friends at lunch that day. They did some...pretty interesting writings on her locker, she thought I had done it. But it was my friends who'd wrote it all over her locker, things like 'I want to fuck you, love Suna', 'Send nudes', 'Suna was here'. Disgusting things like that." He sighed. "As you can see, they weren't very good friends, had me cut off ties that day. They called me a fucking baby. My parents even found out. My dad thought I did it! The bastard didn't even believe or side with his own son when that girl's parents came over to speak to me. A brat. They called me a brat. Idiots."

"Oh my word. That's...messed up on so many levels." You spoke with shock in your voice. "I'm so sorry, Suna."

He shrugged. "I'm over it. Don't apologize, it isn't your fault they're ass's. Safe to say the girl I once liked never talked to me after that."

You felt a grieving pain for him. Sure it happened years ago, but the fact Suna liked someone and then his so-called friends did that was unbelievably wrong. Though, you also felt a tang of jealousy in your gut knowing Suna had feelings for someone. You tried to make those feelings pass, it was the all way back on middle school for crying out loud. You shouldn't get jealous over a girl Suna crushed on way back then.

Suna was peering at you gently, gazing at your soft features previously before speaking again. "You wanna go back home and call the date at a end?"

You stared at him for a moment. How long gave you two been out here anyway? "I... It's not like I really want to go home." You blushed by a smudge.

"We can always go another date at another time."

Another date? Another time? Does that mean... Your thoughts were interfered by Suna's hand reaching and connecting with yours. You were endeared to pull away at the sudden touch from him, but he was already pulling you up to your feet.

"Come on. I heard it was supposed to start getting cold soon, and I forgot to bring a jacket for you." He started to pull your hand turns his expensive car.

"For me? What about you?" You giggled as blush rose to your cheeks. Your question was never answered as you watched as he opened the car door for you, gesturing you to hop inside.

You stepped in, getting seated cozily. You could see Suna pick up the basket, food, and plates as you sat inside the warmer car. Guess Suna was right, it was getting chilly outdoors.

He put the basket in the truck of the car, then he popped his head in the car. "Miss me for the five minutes I was gone?" He went to start the car. The engine roaring and coming alive.

"I could've helped pick up the plates and food ya know." You grumbled, not looking at him.

"But you didn't." He stated, the car began to pull out of the view of the star lit tent.

His sentence only made you feel bad about yourself. I guess the idea of getting out in the cold didn't come to mind... You thought silently.

The ride back to your house was rather quiet. You gazed mindlessly and endlessly out the glass window of the car, waiting to return home. You felt tired. Who knew dates could be so draining?

You took a look at your phone for a second, wanting to see the time. One fifty-seven. Almost two o'clock. You put your phone into your pocket, your glaze falling on Suna's face like earlier today.

How did he mange to look so hot all the damn time? You couldn't help but question it. Maybe he wasn't human.

"We're home." He said.

You looked out the windshield to see you house. Slowly, you gaze traveled back to him, smiling.

He could feel you smiling at him while not gawking a inch at you. He exhaled shakily. Here you are making him nervous, blush forming on his pale cheeks.

"You gonna get out? I know I'm beautiful but come on, no need to make the staring so obvious. I gave you enough time to stare while in the woods." His green eyes falling on yours. You were still grinning like a madman at him.

"Thanks for the date. And food. It was really great, Suna." There was red on the sides of your face. You looked cute, too cute for Suna that's for sure. "Bye. See you at work Monday." You winked at him, opening the door to leave.

"Bye..." A tiny wave grained from him.

He gawked at you as you walked closer and closer at your house and further and further away from him. It made his heart break to see you leave him.

"Fuck Monday." Suna whispered to himself, opening up his car door and stepping out of it. He watched you take a few more steps, rethinking the date. Rethinking what you had said. "Oi, (Y/n). Pilot (Y/n)."

You stopped in your tracks, hearing him call out your name. You were surprised, turning around to see him standing by his car instead of inside it. You could see a small smiled on his lips.

"I like you too."
