"Also Taehyung is outside. Take him with you." Yoongi said.
"Yeah..." Yeona left the room mumbling.
'Why is he still here? Argh!' Yeona thought.
'On top of that Yoongi Oppa has asked me to accompany him! Why god?'
Yeona walked further outside the sitting area infront of Eunji's room and looked around but couldn't find Tae.
'Maybe he is gone. Yes this is good. I'll say Oppa I couldn't find him.' Yeona thought smiling to herself.
"Looking for me?"
A deep voice near her ear startled Yeona. She turned around to find Taehyung's eyes revealing his boxy smile hidden under his mask. Their faces were inches apart and Yeona stumbled on her feet moving away from him.
"Anni. I wasn't looking for you!" Yeona said.
"Liar!"
"Why would I lie?"
"Why knows? Maybe you don't want me to know that you were looking for me?"
Yeona could feel him smiling smugly.
"Anni!"
"Okay then... You can go ahead." Tae said turning his heels to walk away.
"Umm..." Yeona hesitated.
"Yes?" Tae said all at once.
"I am going to grab some food. You want som-"
"Yes I'll accompany you!" Tae said without letting Yeona finish and walking away ahead of her.
"Anni I didn't-"
"Come on!" Tae said.
'This boy.' Yeona mentally smiled at Tae's behaviour.
Yeona caught up with Tae and walked inside a nearby cafe.
"Umm... I'll have one bubble tea please." Yeona ordered.
"Also these cookies please. I'll have them packed." Tae said.
They got their respective orders and walked out.
Yeona was sipping onto her drink when Tae held her hand, stopping her.
Yeona looked at him questioningly.
"Can we sit inside our car?" He said.
"Uh... Why?"
"I can't eat in public with my mask on."
"Oh. You go ahead in your car then. I'll get-"
"Yah! Why are you like this with me?"
"Like what?"
"So rude."
"I am not."
"Yes you are!"
"Anni!"
"Then prove it. Go with me in my car."
Yeona stared at Tae for a second before nodding.
"Good."
They walked a but further and got inside the car. Tae slid his mask away from his face, revealing the gorgeous features hidden beneath.
Yeona looked away trying not to look at him, trying her best to not let her heart waver.
"Have some?" Tae broke the silence.
Yeona turned to look at Tae holding out the cookies to her.
"Thanks..." She said picking up one, nibbling onto it.
Tae placed the cookie box on her lap and stared at her intently.
"Why did you keep them here?"
"I bought them for you."
Yeona didn't say anything but concentrated on how to not look at the man beside her.
"Will you stop staring?" She said after a few minutes, without sparing him a glance.
"Do you hate me so much?" Tae said, sounding a dull.
"Huh?" Yeona was taken aback by his sudden choice of words.
"Do you hate me to the extent that you refuse to even look at me properly?"
Yeona hung her head low for a second before looking at Tae.
"Anni. I don't hate you. I just don't want any of us to get hurt again."
"No one will get hurt Yeona. Please trust me this one last time."
"I... I can't... I don't know what to do." Yeona said fumbling with the hem of her shirt.
"Please give me a chance. I'll prove my love for you."
"What if-"
"If you feel that I couldn't love you enough, you are free to push me away forever." Tae said with strong determination lining his voice.
"I need to go. Please." Yeona said holding back her tears.
Tae didn't stop her as she opened the door and walked out of the car.

It was past eight in the evening and Yeona had come back to visit Eunji. She was to replace Eunji's mom and stay with Eunji till she was asleep.
"Ye-jun you can take mom back home." Eunji said and Ye-jun took away their mom.
Yeona sat beside Eunji lost in her own thoughts when Eunji tapped her hand dragging her back to reality.
"Where are you lost?"
"Nowhere." She lied.
"Come one. You know you can't lie, not infront of me."
Yeona breathed heavily before mumbling Taehyung's name.
"What about him?"
Yeona told Eunji everything that had happened between them in the past two days and how Tae had asked her of one last chance.
"What do you want Yeona?"
"What do I want? I am not sure of that." Yeona chuckled sarcastically.
"Are you saying you are no more in lov-"
"Anni... I am still in love with him as much as I was after meeting him, rather more if possible. But I don't know what I should do. I will not be able to take another heartbreak from him." Yeona said as a light sob escaped her mouth.
"I understand you and I agree with you. But if you love him can't you take the leap? Love is anyway a difficulties and hardships. Its never easy and never will be. All you need is a bit of courage Yeona. And lets not think of the worst. I am sure he'll not break your heart again."
"How are you so sure? You haven't even met him properly."
"But Yoongi lives with him. He told me how hard it was for Tae after the whole thing that happened. He loves you more than anyone Yeona and my heart says its worth the risk. And let's say, God forbid, he breaks your heart, I'll make sure to break his leg." Eunji joked.
Yeona cracked up and nodded smiling.
"I am sure you would do that."
"Think about it Yeona. Grab the opportunity till it is infront of you. I don't want you to regret later thinking you could get the love you had craved for all these years but couldn't. I am always there for you in any case, know that. So please think of this."
Yeona nodded understanding.
"Thanks. I'll...think..."
Eunji smiled.
"So now! Tell me how's Yoongi Oppa?" Yeona asked all so excited.
"Well... Great to be honest. He looks all cold and stuff but he is soft within. A tsundere."
Yeona smiled wickedly at Eunji.
"Why are you smiling like that."
"I could not ask you back then but..."
"But? But what? You are scaring me with that creepy look!"
"Is he a good... kisser?" Yeona asked, blushing a bit herself.
"Huh! You were never this interested in my love life before!"
"Well I never liked David and I absolutely adore Yoongi Oppa." Yeona said without hesitation.
"Yah! He is mine!"
"Ya so what? I am an ARMY and I have all rights to love him! Stop me if you can!" Yeona pouted.
Eunji smiled widely and raised hi hands slightly showing her defeat.
"So back to my question how is he?"
"Uh... About that... He is great!" Eunji said lowering her voice but giggling at the end of her sentence.
"Look at you all giggly!"
"Why should I be not? He loves a lot you know."
"Ya I know that. Stop making me jealous!"
"You literally have Taehyung Yeona."
"Actually I don't."
"You'll. Soon." Eunji winked.
Yeona shook her head making a face.
"So when is he coming tomorrow? Yoongi Oppa."
"Hmm... They have practice tomorrow all day so he said he'll drop by after that at around this time."
"Oh good for you. Aunty will be gone so..."
"Ya. I am really afraid she'll do something like last time and Yoongi will get flustered."
"That was a scene." Yeona laughed.
"Actually!"
"Now sleep! Its late. Close your eyes and dream about Oppa. Come on."
"Nae nae eomma!"
"Jalga."
"Nae..."
Eunji drifted off in few minutes after which Yeona took her leave.
Yeona couldn't keep calm that night, her mind clouded by Taehyung and his words and how Eunji had asked her of gathering a bit of courage.
'I am not brave enough.' Yeona thought before tiredness got the better of her and pulled her into the depth of slumber.
