I continued fumbling New's pockets for his keys and let out a sigh of relief when I found them in his back pocket.

I immediately pushed New away and closed the door.
I frustratingly ran a hand through my hair and tried calming myself down by humming a random song.
I couldn't just get inside the car at my current state because I couldn't guarantee that New would be safe from me.
I was drowned deep in my own thoughts when my phone rang. It was Arm.
"Hello, Arm?"
"Where are you right now? The group's out for a night out."

"I can't. I'm currently in a situation and I can't just leave him here."

I heaved a deep sigh as I ended the call and glanced at New.

I tried shaking his arms but he just opened his eyes and blankly stared at me.
