I couldn't believe my eyes, like this was next level toxic. I sighed debating if I wanted to go back into the grocery store and hide but from the way Thomas perked up the moment I came out I was caught. I kissed my teeth making my way toward my car now was as good as time as any besides I had a bone to pick with him anyways.
He held his hands out as if I was going to walk into them with a smile like he wasn't stalking my car.
"What do you want? And why does it involve you standing in from of my car like a fucking creep?" I put my hand on hips refusing to put my stuff in the trunk I needed to keep my eyes on him at all time.
"You've blocked me on all ways of communication, this was the only way I could speak to you."
I tapped my chin with my finger pretending to think "Hmmm, it's almost like when someone blocks you it's because they don't want to be in contact with you."
He sighed finally putting his hands down "Look, I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean for me and Corey to happen, it just did. She doesn't have anything on you, she isn't who I see a future with."
"Blah, blah, blah. You can't mistakenly fall into someone's pussy Thomas. Look I don't have time for this I have places to be and people who care about me to see."
He ran his hand across his face like I was the annoying one who wasn't listening properly, when he removed his hand I could see the need to gaslight me in his eyes. "You broke up with me!" He wanted to do this shit in the middle of the grocery store like we were in some ratchet ass movie.
"I didn't just break up with you because I broke up with you because you cheated on me."
"I know but I told you it was a mistake, I didn't mean to!"
"A mistake is accidentally picking the wrong shirt size, a mistake is me not bring my taser with me today, a mistake isn't sticking your dick in police pussy for 4 months. Now if you could please move out of my fucking way before I purposely start screaming until I cause a scene, I know how much you'd hate that." I smirked daring him to call my bluff.
He mumbled something underneath his breath but moved out of the way bumping my shoulder hard before as he walked past.
"Tell Thor I said hi." He snickered, throwing his hand up like he had the upper hand. Thor had told me that Thomas has found the people Thor lived with before probably using his license plate, but Thor wasn't worried about it so neither was I.

"Sarah what the fuck..." I mumbled, taking in Thor's outfit as she laughed at me. We were in the city for Sarah's birthday and today we were going to explore and tonight we would be going to a lounge for drinks. When we walked into her house she handed Thor an outfit and told him to go change, he came out wearing grey joggers and a tight black shirt, but my focus was on the grey sweat pants because that thang was thanging.
I fanned myself looking away.
"Sorry babes I'm team Chor, and if can help speed the process along I'm going to try."
"Are you guys ready to go?" Thor asked completely clueless.
"Yup, as soon as Lottie is done picking her jaw off the floor."
"Aren't you suppose to be completely against this?" I whispered into her ear.
She chuckled shaking her head lifting off the couch holding her hand out to me "Who am I to get in the way of true love. Now come on we are going to be late meeting the others."
"I hate you..." I took another look at Thor and visibly gulped, he had no idea the power this look had on womankind, not to mention the way he lazily threw his hair in a top knot. I bit my lip letting out a breathless sigh, I knew Thor was extremely attractive but knowing this hunk of a man was in love with chubby ole me did something. "Alright. Let's go."
"You okay?"
"Just peachy."
I couldn't tell if it was Sarah's birthday or mine because this woman was giving my eyes gift after gift. For the lounge she made Thor wear a black leather jacket, with a black turtle neck underneath with black jeans and black boots, and all the black matched. I was left speechless he looked good enough to eat and all the other women around us seemed to notice as well, the moment he walked in the stares went straight to him. There were about 8 of us in the group and a few of them I recognized from Thor's party, throughout the night the drinks were getting poured left and right and the conversation was flowing Thor was the only one who didn't say much unless asked directly and he kept to drinking water.
"So Charlotte where is Thomas?" One of her friends asked, catching me off guard.
I shrugged "I don't know and I don't care."
"Harsh," He said in a tone as if that personally wounded him "Well, since your single can I have your number?"
"Chad leaves her alone, she isn't on the market especially to you." Sarah chimed in wrapping her around me kissing me on the forehead.
"Hot," he said eyeing us like meat and I sneered scooting closer to Thor who was sitting on my right, he put his arm on the back of my seat and I visibly relaxed.
"Oooooh, I see well this make sense why you freaked out at me at the party. Wow, does Thomas know?"
"Why do you stay saying disrespectful shit? Did I not fucking warn you at my birthday party?" I looked at Thor wide-eyed I had never seen him this visibly upset, I could feel his hand by my leg shaking.
"What happened at your party?" Sarah asked looking between the two guys like the rest of us, one thing Sarah had told me about herself was she loved drama and I guess this wasn't running her birthday but making it better.
"Nothing, dude just flipped out on me for no reason when I was trying to have a conversation with her ACTUAL boyfriend." he declared even in the dark I could see his face turning red with anger.
I glared at Chad "That doesn't sound like Thor"
"Well, I don't know what to tell you? I'm the disrespectful you the one making moves on your ex-birthday with someone who has a man?"
"This is the problem with boys like you, you talk out your ass about shit you know nothing about it's probably best you stop talking to me and her for the rest of the night before I do something I won't regret." I couldn't help but bite my lip and clench my legs together to fight off the tingly, I don't know there was something hot about a man sticking up for you.
"Chad, I agree you are bringing down the vibes." Sarah huffed and I could tell he wanted to say more but instead, he got up and walked to the bar.
The rest of the night was chill, especially now that Chad didn't speak as much. A few very bold women came over and asked to buy Thor a drink or his number, and being slightly tipsy at some point I clutched onto his arm and didn't let go so they got the point that he wasn't available to them.
"You ready to go?" He whispered into my ear while we sat there listening to one of Sarah's friends described her trip to Bali, I looked up at him and gulped. The ambient lighting seemed to highlight his blue eyes and supple lips, I bit my own reaching out to stroke his beard and he nuzzled into my hand.
"You are playing with fire."
"Sorry, you are just so beautiful." I croaked "I'm ready to go, I'm sleepy." and horny but I'd keep that last part to myself. Being in Thor's presence was making it really hard not to fall for him, he didn't need to try nor did he; he was just himself and that was enough.

I knocked on his bedroom door at around 2 in the morning feeling like complete shit, after the second knock he opened the door looking down at me surprised and sleepiness apparent in his eye.
"Thor, can I sleep with you please?" He nodded before moving out of the way letting me into his room, I beelined for the bed and immediately got under the covers, I could smell all over the covers and I couldn't help but take a deep inhale. After about a minute I felt the bed dip as he got in, I could feel the fact that he was laying as far away from me as possible.
"I don't have cooties, y'know." I giggled, he was probably rolling his eyes at me, but he did scoot a little closer and I stated at his shirtless back, without thinking I reached over a touched a scar that I could tell was once a deep gash; Thor tensed but didn't move out of my reach.
"Can we cuddle?" I expected him to say no but instead, he turned around pulling me into him without saying a word, my hand immediately went to his hair, and my leg entwined with his.
"You've been waiting for this moment huh?" I said jokingly massaging his scalp, and looking up at him.
"Yes." He said without even batting an eyelash, his warm breath fanning my face, I could just move my head ever so slightly and our lips would touch instead I returned my gaze to his chest.
"I think I like you a lot Thor." He tightened his hold slightly his way of telling me to keep going. "I didn't like it when those other girls were flirting with you, and I like being with you and being around you more and at first I thought it was because you are my friend and of course I want to hang out with you, but that isn't it. Being in your presence brings me a peace I never knew existed, I have never not felt safe in your presence."
"At first I was against the idea because I truly didn't want to ruin our friendship, but if what you feel for me is as real as you say and what I feel for you just continues to get stronger then we will be fine. Then I was like wouldn't it be kind of whory for me to jump from one guy to the next so soon but then I realized why should I stop myself from being happy? I said I want you to be happy, and being with me would make you happy?"
"A thousand percent." He lifted my chin so we were looking into each other eyes "Being with me? Would that make you happy?"
I nodded "Yeah, it would make me very happy." I lean in brushing my lips against his, his body stiffens before he kisses back hard, I can feel all want in the way he kisses me. When I feel his tongue lick my bottom I immediately grant it entrance and moan into his mouth when he grabs a fist full of my ass. He was kissing me as his life depended on sucking the life out of me.
I pulled away taking in a needed breath and just as Thor was about to pull his lips back to me, I held out my hand.
"You okay?" His voice had dropped to that sexy husky baritone.
"I am perfectly fine. I just don't have lungs of steel." I laughed "Holy shit we are actually doing this, I need a minute." I returned to playing with his hair trying to gather my thoughts.
"You aren't having second thoughts are you?" He asked his voice now laced with concern.
"Not at all, I just, I'm just wrapping my head around the fact that you are now my man."
He smiled that gorgeous smile I hoped I would see more of "And you are my woman, now as much as I want to keep kissing you. I think it's time we go to bed." He kissed my forehead and patted my ass, I yawned and snuggled closer to him my eyes immediately closing.
"I love you Charlotte." was the last thing I heard before I was out like a light.
