~ Ali's POV ~
My eyes opened and I stretched and yawned.
I saw the curtains were very dark. It must still be night time.
I saw my head was where my feet should have been again. Why does this keep happening?
I wasn't really very tired anymore so I stood up in my crib and looked round the room.
I then climbed over the rails and landed on the floor.
I reached through the bars and grabbed Ra Ra and penguin.
I went out the door and looked at Daddy and Dadas door.
I didn't want to wake them so I went downstairs.
I walked to the living room and put the small light on making a bit of light.
I sat on the floor and cuddled Ra Ra and penguin.
I got the paper from the table and some of my crayons. I drew Daddy, Dada, Ra Ra and I. I then wrote in a speech bubble: I love Daddy and Dada. I coloured them in making me smile.
After I had drawn another 2 pictures my eyes became tired.
I sucked my thumb and tried to finish the last picture. I felt my eyes close so I curled up small and drifted off into my dreams.
~ Alex's POV ~
I looked at my clock and saw it was 8am. I yawned and stretched.
I blinked a few times to get my eyes working and rolled over seeing Lloyd rub his eyes.
I grabbed his face and we both smiled at eachother.
"Morning Mr Jones." I smiled.
"It still feels strange you calling me that." He chuckled.
We both smiled.
"I suppose I should get up then." I heaved myself up.
He did the same and he went to the bathroom.
I walked down the stairs forgetting to put a top on.
I walked past the lounge and saw Ali sprawled out on the floor with her thumb in her mouth, with drawings and crayons surrounding her. She was fast asleep.
I went over and crouched down and saw what she was drawing.
One said: I love Daddy and Dada.
The others were about how much she loved us.
I smiled at every single one. They made me feel a bit emotional.
I gulped my tears back and stood up.
I then went upstairs where Lloyd came out the bathroom.
"Jeez put a top on." He chuckled.
"Come." I grabbed his hand and led him downstairs.
We went to the living room and Lloyd saw Ali.
He chuckled quietly.
I then crouched down by her and showed us the drawings she drew.
He took them and looked at them.
A smile crept across his face and he swallowed deeply.
"I love her so much." He got out.
"So do I." I smiled.
I carefully picked her up and her head rested on my shoulder. Her diaper felt a bit damp and the carpet was slightly damp.
"She must have been uncomfortable last night." I said.
"Is she damp?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Poor thing." He said.
I took her upstairs to her room and put her on the changing table. I took off her damp diaper and changed her into a fresh one, and taped it over snug.
She was still fast asleep.
"Da, de e, da da ba." She said in her sleep.
I picked her up and put her in her crib.
She snuggled into her stuffies as I left the room.
I went back downstairs. I saw Lloyd drinking his coffee.
"Was she okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, had a bit of a rash though." I said making my own coffee.
"Poor her." He sympathised.
"She spoke in her sleep, she said Daddy and Dada." I smiled.
"That's so cute." He chuckled. "Also guess what just came in the mail?
"My hoodie that is now 3 weeks late?" I asked.
"Sadly not. Ali asked me a week ago that she wanted some paints so I ordered her some." He showed me the box.
"Rip the clean house." I chuckled.
"I'll make sure its just when she's sitting down." He smiled.
"Thank goodness." I smiled.
I then heard very faint sniffling from upstairs.
"I'll go." I said as I rushed up the stairs.
I opened her door and saw her sniffling a bit.
She must have been feeling very little this morning.
I went over and picked her up.
She stopped crying immediately and cuddled into me.
"Morning Baby." I softly spoke kissing her forehead.
"Daddy." She smiled as she hugged me.
I took her downstairs to where Lloyd had just made her breakfast.
"Dada." She quietly said. He turned round and smiled.
"Morning Baby!" He smiled as I passed her to him.
"Ba ba Dada, ba ba?" She asked.
I grabbed her bottle and put it in the microwave.
He put her in her highchair and she giggled.
He gave her, her food which she ate.
I then gave her milk to her and she smiled.
"Fank you." She smiled as she happily drank it.
"Ali, look what postman pat brought!" Lloyd smiled.
She looked up at him with milk dribble.
He showed her the paints.
Her eyes widened.
"Daddy! Paints!" She squealed.
"You want to do some painting?" He asked her. She nodded and squealed.
I cleared her highchair table. Lloyd set the paints down and paper in front of her.
She took the brush got red paint. She then started painting.
Most of it getting on her face and t-shirt.
She put some on her hands and made hand paints on the paper.
She then twirled her hair with the paint on her hands.
"Daddy paint." She passed me the brush.
I painted a little smile on her paper.
She giggled.
"Dada, paint." She held the brush to him.
He painted another face next to mine.
She giggled so much.
About half an hour later there was an inch of the paper that wasn't painted. Her t-shirt and even her legs were covered in it. So was her face.
"Daddy, Dada look." She held the painting up to us.
"Wow that's so good!" We both said.
"Can we play cars?" She asked.
"Bath time first." I chuckled.
She looked down seeing herself covered in paint.
"How it get there?" She looked up.
"Those paints have a mind of their own." Dada chuckled.
Ali giggled.
I unstrapped her and picked her up. I took her straight to the bathroom. and took her diaper and t-shirt off. I placed her in the bath that I had run a few minutes ago and she smiled.
She then splashed me with water.
I splashed her back.
"Daddy!" She squealed as I blew bubbles at her.
I managed to get most of the paint off and was pretty much soaked myself.
I got her fluffy towel and picked her up and held her close to me.
I heard her giggle and I dried her off.
I then changed her into her diaper and put a hoodie and joggers on her.
She then made her grabby hands for me.
I took them and she snuggled into my warm chest.
I went downstairs where Lloyd had just finished clearing up.
"All done?" He came over.
"Yep. I need to go food shopping." I said.
"That's fine I can go if you have some work to do." He said.
"Alright thanks, take Ali as well" I smiled.
"Sure." He smiled as I passed her to him.
He took her and she snuggled into him.
"See ya." I kissed him and I went off to do some work.
~ Lloyds POV ~
I took Ali to the door.
"Wa wa wait Dada, Ra Ra." She pointed.
I went over and got him and passed it to her.
"Fank wou." She smiled.
I helped her get her shoes on and we went out the door.
I strapped her in the car and got in myself.
I then drove off.
"Dada, can me get lolly?" She asked playing with Ra Ra.
"Sure, what flavour will you get?" I asked.
"Bewwy." She smiled.
I smiled in the mirror.
When we arrived I placed her on her feet and locked the car up.
I took her hand, and in her other hand was Ra Ra and we walked inside.
We got a trolley and she held onto it.
We basically got all the essentials and her lolly of course and we then went to pay.
"Hello." The lady smiled.
"Hi." I said as I loaded the food on the conveyor.
"Put the lolly on the conveyor Ali." I pointed. She put it on carefully and came over.
"Good girl." I smiled as she wrapped her arms round my waist.
The lady scanned the stuff, occasionally smiling at me.
I just packed up the stuff.
"That's £37.85 please, I'll leave off the 85p." She smiled.
"Cheers." I said grabbing the stuff and Ali's hand.
"Bye!" She smiled.
"Bye." I said.
I rolled my eyes as we got away and headed back to the car.
"Dada can me have lolly please?" She asked.
"Sure." I smiled getting it for and undoing the wrapper.
I then passed it to her.
"Fank wou." I smiled. I buckled her in and got in myself.
I then started drving.
"Dada, can we do foam in bath?" She asked.
I chuckled.
"Daddy almost found out." I smiled.
"Peasee, I no tell him!" She pleaded.
"Okay then, just remember."
"Dada say no to say nufing." She smiled.
"Exactly." I smiled.
We arrived home and I stopped the car.
I looked back seeing Ali looking around.
"What you looking for?" I asked.
"Ra Ra." She said.
"Is he not there?" I asked.
She shook her head.
I undid my seatbelt and dived over helping her look.
"He no here Dada." She worriedly said.
I looked around seeing he wasn't there.
I then remembered she took him in the supermarket.
I looked at her and she was trying to hold her tears back.
