A week passed by and we got our grades for our polygraph projects. You know our teacher was really looking forward to them if she graded them in a week. I don't think I've ever gotten a project grade back that fast.

Surprisingly, we got 100%. I seriously do not know how that worked out. She said that we read the graph well, asked provocative questions that had yes or no answers, talked through our issues, and overall did a very good job. I don't know what kinda crack she was on to say that, but I hope that she stays that generous for the rest of the year.

Jax started bragging about the grade. He used it on a group of girls in our class that know how hard it is to get such a good grade in this class. They were absolutely swooning over him.

The problem with Jax is that he's charming. He's the absolute opposite of that when you learn how fucked up he is first hand. However, at first glance, he's an attractive, well hot, guy who knows how to talk to girls. He's confident and makes you feel like you should be, too. That is until he tells you how essentially worthless and replaceable you are. But, these girls don't know that, neither does Emily. I almost feel bad for her, almost.

When class ended, our teacher called us over to talk to her. I really hope we're not in trouble because of his ass. I can't deal with another thing right now.

T: Do you guys know why I asked to talk to you?
Ex: No. Did we do something wrong?
T: No.
Y/n: Oh, good. I'm glad. What's up, then?
T: I thought that the two of you might want to talk.
Y/n: Talk about what, Ms. Wilson?
T: About your relationship.
Ex: I don't understand.
T: You all seemed to be having quite a few problems with each other during your video. I was wondering if you would like to talk about it since you are going to be working together again in the future.
Y/n: With all due respect Ma'am, that's what I go to my therapist for.
Ex: Aw, you talk to your therapist about me?
Y/n: I swear to God, Jax.

T: You see? That's what I mean. That hostility. We need to get rid of that.
Ex: I don't sense any hostility on my end. I'm sure she can work out any problems she's having on her own.
T: Well, are you su-
Y/n: Yes, we're sure. The less talking we have to do, the better.
Ex: Agreed. *wink*
Y/n: Stop it.

T: Well, that may be true. But, there's something I think the two of you should talk about.
Ex: Which is?
T: Over break, I was vacationing with my husband and his family. My nephew-in-law's girlfriend recently had a baby.
Y/n: Oh. Congratulations? I don't understand what that has to do with us, though.
T: Well, she was pregnant when they started dating. He's been very accepting and is offering to help raise the kid.
Y/n: That's great. I just still do not understand the connection.
T: Her name is Kayla and she's from New York City.
Ex: Oh, shit.
Y/n: Jax! Language.
T: It's okay. I understand.

Jax's whole face flushed out. Our teacher's nephew-in-law's girlfriend is Jax's baby mama. This is too funny!! I really hope that Ms. Wilson doesn't expect us to talk to her or anything. That would not be good.

T: At first, I didn't realize the connection. I was never told the full story as to how she got pregnant, but I had heard rumors. Her son's name is Jack. And I wa-
Ex: Wait, son? I have a son?
T: Yes. He's an adorable little guy. He has a lot of your features. In fact, he doesn't really look like Kay at all.
Ex: And you said his name is Jack?
T: Well, that's how I realized that he's your kid. I thought I recognized you when you joined the class and I realized that you just look exactly like the baby. Also, his name is short for Jackson, just like you are Jaxson.
Y/n: She named her child after him? Why would she do that?
T: I guess she grew to accept it. I really have no idea. I would've gotten rid of the kid if it were me.
Y/n: Yea, you and me both.

Jax really looked like he got possessed by a ghost. He was not happy with me for saying that last part. I don't know why he would've wanted me to keep the child. I'm just glad it wasn't up to me. But, it almost seems like he wants to meet Jack. I wonder how that's gonna go. I will not be a part of that.
