Moving In S2Pt1 - Happy Belated Birthday.

*Season 2*

I finally finished my freshman year of college. I got through it. It was a lot of fucking work. Finals were a beast, but I did it.

Jax stayed in my class for the rest of the year. We decided that we would be civil around March or so. It was too much work to be actively mad at him and focus in class at the same time. Also, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have found out that Vinnie cheated on me.

I try not to think about it that much. Every time his name is mentioned it makes me want to cry. But, mama ain't raised no bitch. So, I don't cry. I just walk away or change the subject.

I haven't talked to Jordan in a while, but I'd say that we're still friends. Maddy and I don't really talk that much either, but we're supposed to meet today.

I haven't seen her in so long, I don't even know what to expect. I'm just hoping she doesn't bring him up, she has a knack for doing that.

M: How've you been? I haven't seen you in forever!
Y/n: I know, it's been what, 7 months?
M: Yea, just about. I can't believe it's already July.
Y/n: It's insane. How's Jordan?
M: He's doing pretty good. He misses you, though. You guys were like brother and sister at one point.
Y/n: I know. I miss him too.
M: You could always come by the house, you know. You're always welcome to come see us.
Y/n: I don't know how good of an idea that is.
M: It's been a long time, Y/n. I'm sure everything will be fine. He's moved on from it, you should too.
Y/n: Excuse me?

What's with everyone and wanting to piss me off? Of course he's moved on, he's the one who cheated. I never cared about anyone as much as I cared about Vinnie and he completely betrayed me. Not only did he violate my trust, but he questioned me and my morals by thinking I had anything to do with Jax. The worst part is that he wanted me to cheat on him. Un-fucking-believable.

M: I just mean that it's been a long time. It's been 7 months for crying out loud! I think it would just be healthier if you got past it. Maybe you should start dating again?
Y/n: Like that worked out so well for me in the past... Imagine if Jordan cheated on you, would you like it if I told you to move on because he did?
M: That's different, though.
Y/n: Why, because you've been together longer? Just because Vinnie and I weren't together for that long, doesn't mean that I didn't love him.
M: I didn't say that.
Y/n: You know what? This was a mistake. Send Jordan my love and tell him that it'd be nice to hang out with him again. I'll see you later, Maddy.
M: No, don't leave. I didn't mean it.
Y/n: Forget it, Maddy. It's good to know that you're consistent. You'll always be on his side.

I don't know what I expected out of this. I should've remembered that she always thinks he's in the right. Even Jordan is more reasonable than her and he's Vinnie's fucking best friend.

Ugh, I was so mad at her. I just wanted to get out of there before I caused a scene. But, she caught up to me as I was leaving to tell me one last thing.

M: Y/n, wait! I wanted to tell you something.
Y/n: What is it?
M: I came here to invite you to something.
Y/n: Invite me to what?
M: Um, well... It's... I-
Y/n: I don't have the patience for this. Just spit it out, Maddy.
M: Uh, well. It's Vinnie's birthday on the 14th. I wanted to know if you wanted to come to the party we're throwing for him at the house.

Y/n: Are you fucking serious?
M: I know. You're still mad. But, just in case you change your mind, it's from 10pm-1am.
Y/n: I can't believe that you would actually run after me to make sure that you told me that. You really think I'm gonna go to his fucking birthday party? Fuck his birthday!
M: Uhh... yea. I guess it would've been better not to tell you.
