"I miss you." Charli says.
"I miss you too. I'm trying to figure something out with my commanding officer." I say.
"Y/l/n!" Ethan shouts.
"I'm sorry, I gotta go." I say.
"I love you." Charli says.
"I love you too." I say.
Charli hangs up and I sigh.
"Thank you." I say.
"No problem." Ethan says.
Charli is very short with me and she doesn't think I know why. I know she cheated and there's no way in hell that I won't forgive her.
I mean, I'm in a different continent fighting for her freedom and that's fucked up. She obviously feels bad and regrets it. If she cheated with Chase Hudson, oh, we're gonna have a problem.

"Yes, sir?" I ask.
"You go see your girlfriend, I'll approve of it." Daniel says.

"It's a long flight so you're taking the helicopter." He says.

I unlock the door and see Charli laying on the couch, on her side with her hands between her things.

"You aren't happy to see me?" I ask.
Stop and wait a sec When you look at me like that, my darling, what did you expect?
"I'm really tired." Charli mumbles.
"C'mon." I say.
Charli sits up and holds her stand up. I smile and pick her up. She puts her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck.
