"I don't know why gotta meet your new boyfriend." Charli says.
"I think you're really gonna like them." I say.
I see Y/n get off the escalator and I tap Charli on the shoulder.
"Y/n!" Charli shouts running to hug Y/n.
Y/n smiles and Charli jumps into her arms. Charli starts to cry and Y/n rubs her back.
Y/n had been deployed for 2 years in Afghanistan and none of us have heard from her since.
"Hi, baby." Y/n says as she puts Charli down.
"I missed you." Charli says.
"I know." Y/n says.
Charli kisses her and Y/n smiles. Y/n hugs me and I smile.
