Chapter - 57

They might both be too tired tonight to go on, but that didn't stop them from enjoying the warmth and caresses that were provided, knowing that at some point - days, weeks - they would finish what they started.

"Are you okay, Yoongi Hyung?"

Yoongi woke up from the reverie he was in when he heard Taehyung's voice.

"Excuse me. It's just that I'm a little tired."

"If you want, we can come another day." Taehyung offered him with a frown, clearly worried about his friend's condition.

Yoongi had gone out to buy a gift for his mother's birthday, which was in a week, and although his mother always told him she didn't need to buy anything for her, that just by seeing her children healthy and happy she had enough, Yoongi wanted to have a gift for her. It was the least he could do for his mother. His mother was not picky when it comes to gifts, but Yoongi wanted to do his best with this year's gift, he wanted to convey the message that even if he was not around, his mother would always be something important to him no matter where he was. That's why he had asked Taehyung for help because although the boy seemed to always be with a scattered mind or planning some mischief, he was one of his best friends. They had grown up in the same town, and although they had not always been together,

"I've already delayed this too long. If I have to wait to feel better, I'll buy nothing." 

"Jin Hyung commented that this week we could not meet at his house like every month because Namjoon needed to rest. I knew it was from work, but I had no idea it was so bad." The boy commented while looking at original packs of body care. Yoongi's mother and Taehyung's mother shared the same passion for creams and lotions, taking the samples they could get home with them. "I thought when the boys debuted it would calm down a bit."

"Yes, well, I also thought the same, but it turns out that they have made such a good impression that the company wants to take advantage of the pull and have another album prepared. And one producer who was more involved in the project and who knew how far the boys could go has become ill."

"Well, what a chore." Taehyung had skipped the lotions and headed for the perfume part. "but it's not too serious, is it? I mean, the man will be back before we finish the album."

"He's only going to be away for a week, but the company wants us to get the job done so that when he comes back, he only has to do a few touches-ups and everything is done. After that, we will have the same rhythm as always. From time to time we send him what we have done to see if we are on the right track because no matter how good we are, he already knows what the style of each one is and his limits. He doesn't miss one."

They had found nothing that caught their attention, so they went out to keep looking at other stores. As Taehyung talked about the new series he was working on, excited to work alongside a famous actor whose name Yoongi didn't bother to remember, something caught his attention, causing him to pause. Taehyung kept walking a couple of steps until he realized that Yoongi had stopped, and the boy stood next to him to see what had happened.

"Have you seen anything?"

Yoongi's only response was to point to the front, where a girl was handing out some flyers and promoting the services of a spa. The perfect gift to take care of your body and relax for a couple of days.

"You're a genius, Hyung," Taehyung told him with a smile that showed his teeth and a proud pat on the shoulder. "She's gonna love it."

After looking at the different options available and buying the package that offered excellent treatments for a good price, the two continued to go around, this time for Taehyung to find something for Jimin because he wanted to surprise his boyfriend. Since Taehyung knew his boyfriend's tastes well, it didn't take long for him to find the perfect gift, thus ending the shopping afternoon that the two of them had planned.
