He snuggled further against the back of the chair, cradling the gem in his hands, hoping that the shadows would leave him alone.

Yoongi could only avoid Namjoon's questions for a limited time. He wasn't an idiot; he knew that the young man had wanted to ask him if he was okay if he needed help, but he had given him time and not pressure him. Apparently, Namjoon was tired of waiting, or maybe his face expressed how shitty he was inside because as soon as he entered the study the young man questioned him.

"Hyung, I know something's wrong with you and I also know that you don't like to worry us, but you know you can tell me anything, right?"

Of course, Yoongi knew, but he was reluctant to tell about his problems. It was not because he believed Namjoon could not understand him, or even help him because he already showed him at the time that he could count on him. In fact, I could count on the other boys, even the hellish duo, made up of Jimin and Taehyung, who showed a greater maturity than would be expected at their age or by their crazy behaviour.

Therefore, the problem here lay with Yoongi, since he refused to receive help from others until he found himself at a dead end. It was his way of not worrying his Dongsaengs because their problems were inside his head and not even he himself could fully understand them.

On the other hand, Yoongi had to admit that he was quite proud in that regard. He knew everyone needed help from time to time, but he wanted to be self-sufficient when it came to his problems. He wanted to solve them on his own and be proud that he could do it alone until the end. There was nothing wrong with them helping you, but that feeling of not giving up and reaching the end thanks to your effort, was incomparable. It gave you the feeling of being invincible, of being able to take over the world and of defeating all the monsters that stood in your way.

But there were times like this when monsters were so much more powerful, and they also took the lead. Finding himself unable to defeat them on his own, he had no choice but to seek help from his friends. He didn't want to be a bother, but this was all beyond his understanding and he needed reassurance that he was not crazy. Whenever he asked for help, Yoongi always expected to be sent to hell because they were tired of him letting the problem get too big. They had never done it, and just thinking about it made a lump in his throat with excitement. He was lucky to have friends like them. So it was only fair that he tell Namjoon what happened after everything they had done for him.

After telling him everything - it had taken less time than he had imagined - Namjoon leaned back in his chair and from time to time nodded, as if he were agreeing to something he was thinking. It flustered Yoongi, although his expression showed otherwise.

"Yoongi."

Hearing his name with no honorific, he knew the other was going to say something very important, so he looked at him expectantly.

"I'm proud of you."

Well, any comment, but that had been expected. He wasn't used to that kind of compliment, but he treasured it just the same, so he only bit his lip slightly to avoid saying something to spoil the moment.

"I mean it, Hyung. I know how hard it is for you to share your problems or ask for help. But I'm glad you took the step. It was very brave of you. " Namjoon concluded with a smile that showed his dimples.

"Don't you think I'm crazy?" He asked as he ran a hand over the back of his neck.

"To be honest, what you've told me is quite... Surreal? I don't know if that's the right word in this situation, but hey, it wouldn't be so far-fetched if it were true either. After all, your gem reacted strongly and there are still things that gems are capable of that we still don't know about. "

"This is the first time something like this has happened to me with my gem. And I don't even know if it's normal or not, but it has literally saved my life. " Yoongi said as he touched his chest where the gem was.

"The only thing that's happened to me that is similar in terms of intensity is when I met Jin Hyung. Although the feeling is totally different." Namjoon said as he ran his hand over his chin.

"Spectacular and wonderful, according to my mother." Yoongi completed.

"Is right," Namjoon said with a small smile. "It will touch you."

Yoongi only made a small nod. He didn't want to remind Namjoon how much he disliked everything about soulmates. I found it stupid and illogical that someone or something else already planned your destiny. What about your decisions? Didn't you have a say in the whole thing? It was unfair that he could not decide who entered or who left his life; it was his to live and decide.

After a few moments of silence, the two of them went to work. The thing might be loose, but they still had work to do. Plus, it was only a matter of time before things were back to the way they were, with new projects to work on and time in the studio to get everything done on time. And almost as if it had attracted him with the thought, Mr Bang, the owner of the company, called everyone to attend a meeting where he was going to talk about new topics for fresh groups and soloists, and new topics. For other singers with more experience on stage. Fortunately, creating a theme suitable for a specific concept, and liked enough for Bang to give the go-ahead, was going to take a long time.

Like all meetings, this one lasted longer than expected. By the time he finished, it was already past five in the afternoon, and it might sound strange coming from him, but he was starving. But of course, for once he felt like getting the plate clean, Namjoon told him to wait for him, that he had to make a call first. "It will be quick, I promise." He had said. Ten minutes had passed and there was still no sign of the rapper anywhere.

Resignedly, he dropped into one of the aisle seats he was waiting in and leaned back, letting his head fall back and lean against the wall. Perhaps he could regain some sleep while he waited for the other to finish speaking.

The first minutes were spent trying to find the most comfortable position. Then it was a matter of relaxing and being carried away by the silence of the hall. However, he couldn't savour the moment, because Namjoon showed up and started telling Yoongi to hurry because he was hungry.

"If I found out that you were going to be such an asshole and make me wait so long, I would have dumped you here. By now I would eating already. " Yoongi said with narrowed eyes.

Namjoon just looked at him, puzzled. "Are you really hungry?"

Yoongi just snorted and started walking ahead without looking to see if Namjoon was following him, but not before telling him that "for making me wait, now you have to pay."

Neither of them had to pay. It's what you have to eat at Jin's restaurant. As much as the two insisted, Jin settled the matter by claiming the restaurant was his and that he could invite whoever he wanted.

As always, the food was delicious, and although he normally wouldn't eat that much, this time he had an insatiable and strange appetite in him, but Jin seemed to be in the clouds at this and kept bringing whatever they asked for. Yoongi was so busy eating a bit of each dish he didn't notice the looks Namjoon and Jin exchanged.

Yay! He's finally eating properly. So proud. What is it with me and these short chaps? I'm sorry. Maybe a triple update as I was late at updating too.
