March 6th...

I was standing in the area we'd commandeered to be the dressing room. My white dress, that had been the hardest part of wedding planning, was flowing around me perfectly as Gemma went to get me my vail. Looking in the mirror I couldn't help but snap a picture on my phone.

Macy was pacing the floor tapping in her phone. She was undoubtedly talking with Mitch to see how things were going on his end. Gemma helped with the vail and smiled as she stepped back.

"You look so gorgeous." She smiled.

"I'll never get tired of hearing you people talk." Macy muttered more to herself than us.

"Thank you Gem." I smiled at her.

"Oh," my dads voice had me looking up at him. "Annie, you look so beautiful."

The tears in his eyes matched mine I'm sure. "Thanks Dad." I smiled choking back the tears.

We'd grown closer the past few months. Thanks too Harry mostly. My dad was making so much effort to be close to me now that his divorce was final. He said he regretted not making that effort sooner, and honestly I believed him.

"Let's get us dressed now, yeah?" Gemma asked Macy.

Macy nodded and sat down her phone. Dad and I stepped out into the hall with the photographer to take pictures, and so they could pull on their bridesmaids dresses. Their dresses were gold and had a sparkly chest. As far as bridesmaids dresses I thought they were pretty.

Once we'd finished pictures we rejoined the girls. Both of them now dressed and had finished hair and make up. Macy still looked nervous, but Gemma had that typical easy going and calm aura about her.

"What the hell are they doing!" Macy snapped squeezing her phone so hard I thought she's shatter it.

"Macy chill out." I laughed. "What's wrong?"

She held her phone out showing me a picture of Harry, not in his tux yet, and Mitch goofing off. "Men!"

 "Men!"
